With concerns for consumers' return behaviors affecting internet shopping malls' profits and product management in the internet clothing market, this study is designed to investigate determinants affecting return and path models for return behaviors. For an empirical study, questionnaires are prepared and respondents in their 20s and 30s with internet clothing purchase experience are selected using the convenience sampling. A total of 517 questionnaires are used for the final analysis. Data are analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software and descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, discriminant analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis is conducted. The results are as follows. First, ones who have returned after purchasing clothing items in internet shopping reached 63.4% of the total consumers. Respondents returned items with price at 50 thousand won or less stood at 67.2%, and the most frequent return shopping malls are open markets with their return rate at 51.1%. Second, variables such as risk perception, information search, impulse buying, buying experience, and age have a positive effect on return experience. Impulse buying and buying experience turn out to have a significant effect on the degree of return, but risk perception, information search, age, and gender to have an insignificant effect. Return intention is significantly affected by risk perception, gender, and age. Third, the analysis of path model for return experience shows that perceived risk has a positively effect, and information search has a direct effect as well as an indirect effect through buying experience or impulse buying. The analysis of path model for the degree of return shows that risk perception does not have effect, but information search has indirect effect through buying experience or impulse buying. This study is thought to find consumers' return behavior characteristics in online shopping, and help businesses operating online shopping malls to efficiently manage returns and set up strategies against returns.
The importance and meaning of smell/taste information on online shopping are studied. The first hypothesis deals with this issue directly. We measure the perceived quality and purchase intention at the context of online shopping with/without smell and taste information. As expected, subjects show higher perceived quality/stronger purchase intention of a bar soap and vitamin C product when smell and taste information are provided. Following Peck and Childers(2003), the moderating effects of Need for Smell and Need for Taste are tested at the second hypothesis. Subjects with High in Need for Smell/Touch show stronger responses in terms of perceived quality and purchase intention. The level of trust about the online shopping mall provides interesting results. When the trust level of the online shopping mall is low, the smell/taste information play more important roles in improving the perceived quality and purchase intention. Subjects at the not-so-trusted shopping mall context result in higher perceived quality and purchase intention if perceptual information is provided. One of the theoretical contributions of this study includes the identification of critical information in online purchase decision making-smell and taste. On top of vision and hearing information, smell and taste information also can play critical roles when consumers do online shopping even at the shopping malls of low trust. In addition, managerial implications are provided.

The development of ICT technology has created new channels for product sales and promotion, which not only make information accessible to customers as easy as possible, but also provide consumers with much more absolute and comparative information. Modern consumers are exposed so many shopping channels currently, especially mobile-based channels have grown significantly and have become the center of the market. It is true that mobile shopping has led the growth of overall online shopping with the recent development of mobile devices such as smartphones and related software. The importance of strengthening corporate competitiveness and mobile-based management strategies through on line channels continues to increase. At this point, this study attempted to investigate the influencing factors by focusing on the entire distribution channel and mobile shopping channels. As most of previous studies were focused on Internet shopping malls or specific channels, So the research on mobile channels can be judged to be timely and appropriate. Furthermore, it can be said that mobile shopping channels are now presenting empirical implications. In conclusion, it provides practical implications to examine the management strategy of mobile shopping channels from the perspective of consumer value.
The purpose of this study is to find out the various impulse buying factors which influence the emotion of regret in the internet purchase of fashion products and to measure the differences of regret solution efforts according to impulse buying consumer types. This study surveyed females in their 20s~40s for empirical analysis in August 2012, and it targeted women who have experienced impulse buying of fashion products in the internet mall. 297 subjects were collected for the data, and they were subjects who were selected through online convenience sampling. This study surveyed females in their 20s~40s for empirical analysis in August 2012 who have ever experienced impulse buying of fashion products in the internet mall. Data were collected for 297 subjects who were selected through online convenience sampling. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, regression analysis, cluster analysis, and ANOVA were carried out using SPSS for Windows 12.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was identified that impulse buying by refreshing, accidental, promotion, recommendation stimulus have significant influence on the regret of consumer after impulse buying. Second, there are significant differences in the factors of impulse buying which influence the regret according to the impulse buying products and the shopping malls. Third, there are significant differences in regret relieving behavior according to the impulse buying consumer types. This study will help internet shopping malls to find out the action plans to handle consumers' regret from impulse buying.
This study investigated the effects of online shopping malls' HMR selection attributes upon satisfaction and repurchase intention. Study subjects were Busan residents from whome 252 valid questionnaire responses were collected and used for analysis. The study conducted afrequency analysis to explain demographic characteristics using SPSS 18.0. Other anaylses were perfromed in order to investigate the effects of online shopping mall HMR selection attributes upon satisfaction and repurchase intention. The findings revealed that convenience, package brands, palatability, price and food quality appropriateness exhibited a significant influence, although food quality did not have a significant influence on customer satisfaction. In addition, customer satisfaction had a significant influence upon repurchase intention. Therefore, a high added value brand with high quality packing and design is thought to be more important than inexpensive price and low quality.

Recently, large online shopping malls are providing image search services as well as text or category searches. However, in the case of an image search service, there is a problem in that the search service cannot be used in the absence of an image. This paper describes the development of a system that allows users to find the clothes they want through hand-drawn images of the style of clothes when they search for clothes in an online clothing shopping mall. The hand-drawing data drawn by the user increases the accuracy of matching through neural network learning, and enables matching of clothes using various object detection algorithms. This is expected to increase customer satisfaction with online shopping by allowing users to quickly search for clothing they are looking for.

This study investigated the quality characteristics and microbial hazards of commercial garlic available in supermarkets, traditional markets, and online shopping malls. Total bacterial counts were 2.55 log CFU/g in whole garlic and 5.20~7.40 log CFU/g in processed garlic, possibly due to contamination during processing. The total bacterial count from garlic purchased in supermarkets was below 5 log CFU/g, while garlic purchased in traditional markets and online shopping malls had counts of 3.87~6.34 and 3.73~6.11 log CFU/g, respectively. Thus garlic purchased at supermarkets appears to be more hygienic than garlic from traditional markets or online shopping malls. Some garlic purchased from supermarkets also had a lower pH (4.96~5.17) compared to fresh chopped garlic (7.4~7.5), likely due to the addition of citric acid and ascorbic acid, to reduce microbes and prevent browning. The moisture content of chopped garlic was 61.92~89.32%, with moisture content in imported garlic from China above 75%. The L, a, and b color values were 52.63~64.47, -3.74~8.75, and 10.67~17.88, respectively. The a and b values of supermarket garlic (-3.74~-3.20 and 10.67~13.90) were lower due to the addition of citric acid.
In online shopping, "out-of-stock" and "sold-out" are used to indicate product unavailability, and this unavailability and its effects on consumers' behaviors have been studied with great interest for practical purposes. However, few studies have specifically discussed out-of-stock and sold-out products in the same paper. We hypothesized that consumers might cognitively interpret items marked out-of-stock and sold-out differently, and in this paper, we studied these potential differences from the perspectives of consumers' emotions, behaviors, and loyalty based on the stimulus-organism-response framework. In order to explore the differences, we used a multi-method approach that consisted of experiments, surveys, and interviews. Specifically, we built an experimental website on which the same products were categorized as either out-of-stock or sold-out, and we measured the participants' emotions, attitudes, and intentions after the experiment. After two weeks, we conducted interviews to confirm our results and to learn more about consumers' everyday behavior. In the results, males and females demonstrated differences in emotion, behaviors, and loyalty with the interaction effects of an item's being marked out-of-stock versus sold-out. We found that the consumers demonstrated different levels of loyalty based on whether the item was marked out-of-stock or sold-out. We discuss the strategic implications of our findings.
In this study, a survey of online coupon user in their 20's and 30's was undertaken to explore how e-coupon attribute, perceived risk affect the intention to continuously use online coupons through mediation of online coupon user satisfaction. Four variables were used as E-coupon attribute variables(economy, amusement, reliability, usefulness) with coupon type and gender being used as moderating variables. The analysis results of relationship between e-coupon attributes, perceived risk and online coupon user satisfaction indicated that amusement, usefulness significantly affected online coupon user satisfaction, and this, in turn, significantly affected the intention to continuously use online coupons. In addition, the test of difference between groups in coupon type and gender, two moderating variables used in this study, found that with respect to coupon type, a moderating effect existed in reliability, usefulness whereas for gender, a moderating effect existed in only reliability. It is considered that this study will provide a credible evidence basis for Internet shopping malls in establishing a coupon promotion strategy including a specific promotional mix best suited to their needs and resources, while implicating that offering highly reliable online coupons will contribute to enhancing satisfaction level among customers using online coupons.
Purpose - In this study, we discuss the current status and barriers of digital transformation focused on small businesses. More specifically, this study consists of two studies. The purpose of study 1 is to investigate the effect of digitization of small businesses on the sales of stores and the number of visiting customers. The purpose of Study 2 is to examine the status and obstacles of online channels use by small businesses. Research design, data, and methodology - In Study 1, we will examine the changes in sales and visitor numbers of stores that are rapidly adapting to digital transformation among small business. For this, we utilize the actual situation of store management survey conducted by the Small Enterprise and Market Service. Specifically, multiple regression equations were used to determine whether blogs and online shopping malls were operating, and the proportion of credit cards to sales as independent variables and sales and number of visiting customers as dependent variables. Next, in Study 2, we surveyed the 15 small business owners in the latest survey on the actual situation of store management survey conducted in 2015, and conducted an in-depth interview to examine the barriers to the use of online channels by small business. Results - As a result of study 1, it is found that the small business who run the blogs have higher sales and visits than the small business who do not. However, there is no difference in the sales and the number of visiting customers between the stores that operate the online shopping malls and those that do not. Second, the higher the proportion of credit cards, the higher the sales and the number of visiting customers. In study 2, we analyzed the barriers to the expansion of online channels by in-depth interviews. Interviews show that barriers to access to online channels are limited by search neutrality, high commission burden, and low bargaining power. These problems are caused by the insufficiency of small business compared to online and mobile portal and O2O platform vendors. Conclusions - This study suggests that small business who have difficulty in establishing direct online channels need digital transformation of small business. In addition, when using such an external platform, we have identified the problems that small business face.
