LMS를 활용한 온라인 강의 환경에서 예비교사의 학습행태와 성취도의 상관관계 (The Relationship between Learning Behavior and Academic Achievements of Pre-service Teachers in Online Learning Using LMS)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 LMS로써 MS Teams를 도입하여 온라인 강의를 진행하는 과정에서 나타난 예비교사의 학습행태와 학업성취도 간의 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. MS Teams와 연동된 MS Insights가 제공하는 MS Teams 방문일수, 과제 제출 기한 엄수, 소통에 대한 변인을 중심으로 수강성적과의 상관관계 및 매개효과를 알아보았다. 학습행태 변인과 학업성취도 간 피어슨 상관관계 분석의 결과, 예비교사의 학업성취도는 MS Teams 방문 일수 및 온라인 과제 제출 기한의 엄수와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. MS Teams내 질문, 게시글, 답변 작성 빈도와 학업성취도 간의 관련성은 유의한 상관이 없었다. MS Teams의 학습행태 변인들이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에 대한 다중회귀분석 결과, 과제 제출 기한의 관리 변인에 있어서 학업성취도를 설명할 수 있었다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 온라인 기반 아두이노 프로그래밍 체험 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는 데 있다. 이 연구에서는 ADDIE 모형과 Lee의 모형에서 제시된 내용을 바탕으로 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 적용하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서는 자유학기제 학생들을 대상으로 온라인상에서 적용할 수 있는 교육 프로그램 2종을 개발하였다. 둘째, 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램의 교수학습자료는 강의에서 사용할 실습 재료, 교수용 사이트, 동영상 강의 콘텐츠 등이었다. 셋째, 개발된 프로그램은 학생이 등교한 상황과 등교하지 않은 상황에서 총 3회 적용되었다. 넷째, 프로그램의 만족도를 분석한 결과 학생들은 본 개발 프로그램에 대해 만족하고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 내용은 도서 산간 지역과 같이 강사의 접근이 쉽지 않은 장소에서 온라인 기반의 체험 활동을 기획하는 교수자들이 활용할 수 있는 참고 자료가 될 것이다.

Internet search analytics for shoulder arthroplasty: what questions are patients asking?

  • Background: Common questions about shoulder arthroplasty (SA) searched online by patients and the quality of this content are unknown. The purpose of this study is to uncover questions SA patients search online and determine types and quality of webpages encountered. Methods: The "People also ask" section of Google Search was queried to return 900 questions and associated webpages for general, anatomic, and reverse SA. Questions and webpages were categorized using the Rothwell classification of questions and assessed for quality using the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria. Results: According to Rothwell classification, the composition of questions was fact (54.0%), value (24.7%), and policy (21.3%). The most common webpage categories were medical practice (24.6%), academic (23.2%), and medical information sites (14.4%). Journal articles represented 8.9% of results. The average JAMA score for all webpages was 1.69. Journals had the highest average JAMA score (3.91), while medical practice sites had the lowest (0.89). The most common question was, "How long does it take to recover from shoulder replacement?" Conclusions: The most common questions SA patients ask online involve specific postoperative activities and the timeline of recovery. Most information is from low-quality, non-peer-reviewed websites, highlighting the need for improvement in online resources. By understanding the questions patients are asking online, surgeons can tailor preoperative education to common patient concerns and improve postoperative outcomes. Level of evidence: IV.

온라인 뉴스 웹사이트의 로그를 이용한 연관규칙 발견에 관한 연구 (Mining Association Rules from the Web Access Log of an Online News website)

  • 인터넷의 활용으로 기업활동의 많은 영역이 온라인을 통해 이루어지고 있다. 온라인 쇼핑몰에서는 고객이 웹사이트 방문 후에 어떤 활동을 하는지를 파악하고 이를 경영활동의 성과로 연계하기 위해 웹 로그를 분석하고 있다. 온라인 뉴스 사이트에서도 방문자의 활동을 파악하고 어떤 기사에 관심이 많은지, 어떤 분야의 기사를 많이 보는지 등을 파악하여 독자에게 서비스하는 것이 필요하다. 그러나 언론사의 웹사이트 로그를 분석하는 연구는 충분히 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 뉴스 웹사이트에서 수집된 로그를 이용하여 방문자의 웹사이트 내에서의 활동을 파악하고 뉴스 기사간 연관규칙을 도출한다. 연구는 크게 방문자의 세션(session)을 파악하는 첫 번째 단계와 방문자가 읽은 뉴스 기사간의 연관규칙을 살펴보는 두 번째 단계로 이루어져 있으며 두 차례에 걸쳐 수집된 웹사이트 로그를 이용하여 분석하였다. 최종적으로 도출된 규칙의 의미와 온라인 뉴스 사이트에서 고려해야 하는 함의를 제시하였다.

멀티채널 환경에서 정보탐색채널과 구매채널의 불일치 현상에 관한 연구: 쇼루밍 현상을 중심으로 (Inconsistency between Information Search and Purchase Channels: Focusing on the "Showrooming Phenomenon")

  • Purpose - "Showrooming" refers to the phenomenon where a shopper visits a store to see and compare products but makes the purchase online at a lower price. Surveys on showrooming activities at home and abroad indicate that a significant number of consumers pursue showrooming activities. The advent of "showroomers," who engage in buying activities, hovering both on and offline, while selectively choosing sales channels to suit their needs, is powerful enough to erode the borders between channels and bring about seismic changes in the distribution industry. However, surprisingly, there has been no in-depth discussion on showrooming. This study seeks to theoretically investigate what impact personal characteristics have on showrooming preferences and attitudes in a multi-channel environment. Specifically, assumptions have been made that price perception, perceived performance risk, and trust in online shopping not only have a direct impact on showrooming attitudes but also indirectly affect it through the means of contact motivation. Research design, data, and methodology - To test the hypotheses, this study conducted a survey of male and female shoppers, ages 20 through 40s, who live in metropolitan areas, and have actively showroomed fashion items in the last six months. A clothing item usually purchased after a careful decision-making process was chosen as the target product of the study. The survey was conducted between October and November 2014, using a professional survey service provider. A total of 200 surveys were collected, of which 198 were used for analysis. Conceptual model Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Amos 18.0 were employed for data analysis and model verification. In addition, following the confirmatory factor analysis and measurement model analysis, the theoretical model that corresponds to the research model was analyzed. Results - Analysis results show that price perception, perceived performance risk, and trust in online shopping have a statistically significant and positive (+) impact on showrooming attitudes. In addition, in terms of the indirect influence of price perception and perceived performance risk on showrooming attitudes through means of contact motivation, price perception had a statistically significant and positive impact on means of contact motivation, whereas perceived performance risk did not have a statistically significant impact on it, with the relevant hypothesis rejected. Conclusions - These analysis results imply that the ultimate goal of consumers is to maximize their shopping benefits by selectively and strategically taking advantage of different channels in a complementary manner. This study presents many implications for distributors to encourage a deep understanding of showrooming consumers who have complicated consumption behaviors and to build channel integration strategies. This study has limitations in theoretical and practical implications. Therefore, subsequent studies need to focus on verifying that showrooming activities are based on reasonable and planned decisions by applying the theory of reasoned or planned behavior. In addition, the scope of the study should expand to include web showrooming, where consumers conduct product research online and purchase offline.

  • The outbreak of COVID-19 had affected almost every part of the world and caused disastrous results, the number of reported COVID-19 cases in past few months have reached to more than 29 million patients in the world globally. This pandemic has adversely affected all the activities of life, ranging from personal life to overall economic development. Due to the current situation, routinely turned to online resources, and people have relied on technology more than they have been before. Since cybercriminals are an opportunist and they utilized this entirely, by targeting the online services for all sectors of life. This fortnight online dependency of the community over the internet opened several easy doors for the cybercriminals. This causes exponential attacks over internet traffic during this epidemic situation. The current Covid-19 pandemic situation appeared at once, and no one was ready to prevail this. However, there is an urgent need to address the current problem in all means. . KSA is among one of the countries most affected by these CA and is a key victim for most cyber-crimes. Therefore, this paper will review the effects of COVID-19 on the cyber-world of KSA in various sectors. We will also shed light on the Saudi efforts to confront these attacks during COVID -19. As a contribution, we have provided a comprehensive framework for mitigating cybersecurity challenges.

주경로 분석과 연관어 네트워크 분석을 통한 '구전(WoM)' 관련 연구동향 분석 (Analysis of Research Trends of 'Word of Mouth (WoM)' through Main Path and Word Co-occurrence Network)

  • 구전(Word-of-Mouth) 활동은 오래 전부터 기업의 마케팅 과정에서 중요성을 인식하고 특히 마케팅 분야에서 많은 주목을 받아왔다. 최근에는 인터넷의 발달에 따라 온라인 뉴스, 온라인 커뮤니티 등에서 사람들이 지식과 정보를 주고 받는 방식이 다양해지면서 구전은 후기, 평점, 좋아요 등으로 입소문의 양상이 다각화되고 있다. 이러한 현상에 따라 구전에 관한 다양한 연구들이 선행되어왔으나, 이들을 종합적으로 분석한 메타 분석 연구는 부재하다. 본 연구는 학술 빅데이터를 활용해 구전 관련 연구동향을 알아내기 위해서 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 적용하여 주요 연구들을 추출하고 시기별로 연구들의 주요 쟁점을 파악하는 기법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해서 1941년부터 2018년까지 인용 데이터베이스인 Scopus에서 'Word-of-Mouth'라는 키워드로 검색되는 총 4389건의 문헌을 수집하였고, 영어 형태소 분석과 불용어 제거 등 전처리 과정을 통해 데이터를 정제하였다. 본 연구는 학문 분야의 발전 궤적을 추적하는 데 활용되는 주경로 분석기법을 적용해 구전과 관련된 핵심 연구들을 추출하여 연구동향을 거시적 관점에서 제시하였고, 단어동시출현 정보를 추출하여 키워드 간 네트워크를 구축하여 시기별로 구전과 관련된 연관어들이 어떻게 변화되었는지 살펴봄으로써 연구동향을 미시적 관점에서 제시하였다. 수집된 문헌 데이터를 기반으로 인용 네트워크를 구축하고 SPC 가중치를 적용하여 키루트 주경로를 추출한 결과 30개의 문헌으로 구성된 주경로가 추출되었고, 연관어 네트워크 분석을 통해서는 시기별로 온라인 시대, 관광 산업 등 다양한 산업군 등 산업 변화가 반영돼 시대적 변화와 더불어 발전하고 있는 학술적 영역의 변화를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The center of networking is moving toward mobile from PC based computing environment. The number of smartphone users are increasing rapidly today. One of the most popular smart phone applications is mobile SNS such as Kakao Story, Facebook, Twitter, Mobile Cyworld, etc. Mobile SNS means social network services based on mobile communication technology. This research focused on mobile SNS usage of married women who have not enough time for face-to-face communication with their friends to enhance their friendship. Married women in their 30s and 40s have lots of things to do like housework and caring their children. Mobile SNS would help their communication in aspect such of free of space and time. Through Mobile SNS married women can reinforce their personal relationship and self-esteem. Social Information Processing Theory (SIP) is an interpersonal communication theory developed by Walther(1992). Once established, online personal relationships may demonstrate the same relational dimensions and qualities as face-to-face relationships. The theory explains how people get to know one another online, without nonverbal cues, and how they develop and manage relationships in the computer-mediated environment. The result of empirical analysis indicates that marred women's Mobile SNS activities reinforce their personal relationship and self-esteem.

Why Social Comparison on Instagram Matters: Its impact on Depression

  • Social Networking Sites (SNS) provide people with unique online social interaction environments where users can disclose their thoughts, feelings, and opinions to their personal contacts. Although previous studies have suggested that such activities produce positive effects on SNS user well-being, this study considered potential negative effects by investigating the relationship between SNS use and depression. In particular, This stydy examined how specific activities are related to different types of social comparison (upward/downward/horizontal) and how these different types of social comparison influence depressed moods among college students. The analysis of a survey of 245 Instagram users found that (1) looking at other people's status updates and commenting on other people's photos influences upward social comparison, (2) frequency of Instagram use predicts upward/downward/horizontal social comparison, and (3) upward social comparison was postively associated with depression, while downward social comparison was negatively associated with depression. Furthermore, the path anlaysis show that social comparison mediates the effect of Instagram use on depression. It suggests that Instagram use does not directly increase depression but it can lead to depression when social comparison on Instagram triggers depression.

A Lifestyle-Routine Activity Theory (LRAT) Approach to Cybercrime Victimization: An Empirical Assessment of SNS Lifestyle Exposure Activities

  • The Internet and all of its possibilities and applications have changed individuals' lifestyles in relation to socializing, working, and how they spend their leisure time. Social networking sites (SNSs), such as Facebook or Instagram, are ideal settings for interacting with others but, unfortunately, they are also ideal settings for motivated offenders to commit cybercrimes. Thus SNS users may be more vulnerable to cybercrime. The purpose of this study is to investigate the occurrence of cybercrime victimization, specifically cyber-harassment, cyber-impersonation, and hacking. Self-report surveys collected from a sample of 147 respondents were examined using the moderated multiple regression analysis and a logistic regression analysis to determine possible relationships between SNS lifestyle exposure activities and cybercrime victimization. The results indicate moderate support for the application of lifestyle-routine activity theory (LRAT) to cybercrime victimization. Possible educational and managerial implications, as well as suggestions for future research, are discussed.
