Real-time image georeferencing is required to generate spatial information rapidly from the image sequences acquired by multi-sensor systems. To complement the performance of position/attitude sensors and process in real-time, we should employ on-line aerial triangulation based on a sequential estimation algorithm. In this study, we thus attempt to derive an efficient on-line aerial triangulation algorithm for real-time georeferencing of image sequences. We implemented on-line aerial triangulation using the existing Given transformation update algorithm, and a new inverse normal matrix update algorithm based on observation classification, respectively. To compare the performance of two algorithms in terms of the accuracy and processing time, we applied these algorithms to simulated airborne multi-sensory data. The experimental results indicate that the inverse normal matrix update algorithm shows 40 % higher accuracy in the estimated ground point coordinates and eight times faster processing speed comparing to the Given transformation update algorithm. Therefore, the inverse normal matrix update algorithm is more appropriate for the real-time image georeferencing.
Most of ubiquitous computing devices such as stereo camera, ultrasonic sensor based MIT cricket system and other wireless sensor network devices are widely applied to the 2 Dimensional(2D) localization system in today. Because stereo camera cannot estimate the optimal location between moving node and beacon node in Wireless Personal Area Network(WPAN) under Non Line Of Sight(NLOS) environment, it is a great weakness point to the design of the 2D localization system in indoor environment. But the conventional 2D triangulation scheme that is adapted to the MIT cricket system cannot estimate the 3 Dimensional(3D) coordinate values for estimation of the optimal location of the moving node generally. Therefore, the 3D triangulation scheme based on the space segmentation in WPAN is suggested in this paper. The measuring data in the suggested scheme by computer simulation is compared with that of the geographic measuring data in the AutoCAD software system. The average error of coordinates values(x,y,z) of the moving node is calculated to 0.008m by the suggested scheme. From the results, it can be seen that the location correctness of the suggested scheme is very excellent for using the localization system in WPAN.
This paper proposes a path planning method of a mobile robot in two-dimensional work space. The path planning method is based on a cell decomposition approach. To create a path which consists of a number of line segments, the Delaunay Triangulation algorithm is used. Using the cells produced by the Delaunay Triangulation algorithm, a mesh generation algorithm connects the starting position to the goal position. Dijkstra algorithm is used to find the shortest distance path. Greedy algorithm optimizes the path by deleting the path segments which detours without collision with obstacles.

This paper introduces the NLSE(Nonlinear Least Squared Estimator) using curved LOBs(Line Of Bearings) considering the earth curvature based on sphere to avoid the map conversion distortion and minimize the estimation error. This paper suggests a method improving a performance of the NLSE using curved LOBs by using an ellipsoid model. The analysis of the simulation results shows that the NLSE using curved LOBs has better performance than the conventional triangulation method and can improve its performance using a suggested method.

An automatic mesh generation scheme with triangular finite elements on three-dimensional surfaces has been developed. The surface triangulation process is performed as follows. To begin, surfaces with key nodes are transformed to two-dimensional planes and the meshes with triangular elements are constructed in these planes. Finally, the constructed meshes are transformed back to the original 3D surfaces. For the mesh generation, an irregular mesh generation scheme is employed in which local mesh densities are assigned by the user along the boundaries of the analysis domain. For this purpose a looping algorithm combined with an advancing front technique using basic operators has been developed, in which the loops are recursively subdivided into subloops with the use of the best split lines and then the basic operators generate elements. Using the split lines, the original boundaries are split recursively until each loop contains a certain number of key nodes, and then using the basic operators such as type-1 and type-2, one or two triangular elements are generated at each operation. After the triangulation process has been completed for each meshing domain, the resulting meshes are finally improved by smoothing process. Sample meshes are presented to demonstrate the versatility of the algorithm.

FEM (Finite Element Method) is a fundamental numerical analysis technique in wide spread use in engineering application. As the solving time occupies small portion of entire FEM analysis time because of development of hardware, the relative lime to the whole analysis time to make mesh mod-els is growing. In particular, in the case of stiffeners such as features attached to plate in ship structure, the line constraints are imposed on mesh model together with other constraints such as holes. To auto-matically generate two dimensional quadrilateral mesh with the line constraints, an algorithm is pro-posed based on the constrained Delaunay triangulation and Q-Morph algorithm in which the line constraints are not considered. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated. And some numerical results of our proposed algorithm ate presented.

Nowadays the considerable improvements, not only in photogrammetric equipment but also in adjustment methods have led to a high accuracy of Aerial Triangulation and reach the step to obtain A.T. technique that uses Global Position System without ground control survery. The enterance of analytical plotter have made considerable development both in accuracy and in efficiency and improved working environment of A.T. by the combination of On-Line Analytical Plotting System. In this paper, in A.T., with using of analytical polotter, aims to improve the acccuracy in coordinates determination of low level control point. The result shows that in case of A.T. with analytical plotter AVIOLYT BC2, the accuracy of control points improves to 7% in planimetry and to 40% in height compared to A.T. with precision plotter Autograph A-8.
With the increase use of electromagnrtic distance measuring equiment, is is required that we need to study the higher dimensional applications and detail technical methods. The purpose of this paper is to improve the accuracy of ocean construction surveying and computer programming for determining of horizontal position of a quadrilateral by measuring line on traverse surveyng, trigulation and trilateration. Aa long distance measurements with high accuracy became possible by the apperance of EDM distance measuring instruments, we induced correct adjustment equation through angle condition and area conditionequation. After that we compared and experimental model. From its a result of the practical applicationto quadrilateral, it has been found that its triangulation and traverse surveying algorithms provide better accuracy than trilateration.

As industrial standard data, the STL format which approximates three dimensional CAD model to triangular facets, is used for RP(Rapid Prototyping) system in recent days. Because most RP system take the only form of two dimensional line segments as an input stream inspite of its imperfectness while converting into STL format, a CAD model is converted into a standard industrial format which is composed of many triangular facets. The error verifying process is composed of four main steps, and these are 1) Remove facets with two or more vertices equal to each other. 2) Fix overlapping error such as more than three facets adjacent to anedge. 3) Fill holes in the mesh by using Delaunay triangulation method. 4) Correct the wrong direction and normal vectors. This paper is concerned with serching the mentioned errors in advance and modifying them.
