사무공간 근무자의 행태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Clerk's Behavior at Business Office)

  • After the rapid growth of economics in South Korea 1960'1, the number of workers in the whole land in-creased day after day along with the growth of industry. As the growth of the third industry occurred quite rapid-ly, the rate of office workers went up high. Accordingly the business office has been changed the primary work-ing space and recognized the main space as much as the living space. As a result of conceptual change about working place, the business office has an important ef-fect on worker's liberal and psychological environment. In order to provide the office workers with the office work-ers with the suitable and convenient working environ-ment, Socio-psychological factors were first considered at the first stage of construction planning. In this paper, I would understand both how office workers take up their attitudes of Socio-psychological point according to the office type and what they claim for their office environment. This understanding offers us fundamental data in office plan. This paper starting from this purpose got the following conclusions. *Office workers are violated their hearing privacies rather than their visual privacies. They are dissatisfied with ensuring their own spaces and satisfied with their nature of domain. *In the feeling of satisfaction by office type, they are on the whole satisfied with their hearing privacies, their visual privacies, their own space, and the nature of do-main in the closed type and mixed type offices. In open type offices, their visual privacy is often violated. *In the property by individual, men feel more violated their hearing privacies than women. In the personal spa-se and domain, women are less stabilized psycholo-gically than men. *The analysis of the attitude by position, a man of po-sition is more violated his hearing privacy and does not understand each other. The common run of workers are violated their visual privacies and the nature of separa-tion.

Effects of Czech get up Exercise on Functional Movement and Dynamic Balance in Female Office Worker

  • 이 연구는 30~40대 사무직 여성들을 대상으로 아동 운동 발달학 원리를 바탕으로 한 체코 겟업 운동이 기능적 움직임 및 동적 균형 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하고자 실시하였다. 무작위 배정을 통해 체코 겟 업 운동 집단(CGUG, n=15)과 통제 집단(CG, n=14)을 구성하여 12주, 주 3회, 일 60분씩 운동을 적용하였으며, 통제 집단은 동일 기간 일상생활을 유지하도록 하였다. 이 연구 결과 체코 겟 업 운동 후 딥 스쿼트(p<.001), 허들 스텝(p<.001), 인라인 런지(p<.001), 푸쉬업(p<.001), 회전 안정성(p<.01) 및 총 점수(p<.001), 상체 동적균형능력(p<.001)과 우측 하체 동적균형능력(p<.001)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 아동 운동 발달학을 원리로 한 체코 겟 업 운동이 사무직 성인 여성들의 기능적 움직임 및 동적 균형 능력에 긍정적인 효과를 주어 건강한 삶뿐만 아니라 근로 효율 또한 높일 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

A Study for Worker's Change of Average Time on the Time Use Survey

  • This Paper analyzed activities of the average time use survey in 1999 and 2004 by Korea National Statistical Office. The survey of National Statistical Office considered general analysis for activities like that personal care(eating), employment and study, leisure, travel by purpose. Change of time of living causes a lot of effects on society whole economy, culture etc., and is used basic data in policy proposal of the country and enterprise's marketing operation establishment. Analysis for average time could look at change in a role of gender, holiday of saturday's enforcement and increasing of temporary post. Using this analysis we can do more developed and analytical sociological study.

중년 사무직 근로자의 자기주도형 여가활동 경험 (Experiences in Self-leading Leisure Activities of Middle-aged Office Workers)

  • This study was to describe the process on experiences of self-leading leisure activities and develop a substantive theory that explains lifestyle in middle-aged office workers. The participants were 12 persons who had participated in self-leading leisure activities. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and analyzed by grounded theory in Strauss and Corbin. Through analyzing process, 28 concepts, 14 subcategories, and seven categories were deduced. The periods of process were divided four stages, plateau, the phage of recognition in social duties, the phage of strengthen in competency, and the phage of reconstruct in successful lifestyle. The core category, 'disclosing of self-esteem' incorporated the relationship between and among all categories and explained the process. The findings indicate that self-leading leisure activities helped to their own health and developed their social activities. Therefore, we would consider in developing health promotion program about favoring leisure activities factors for the middle age office worker.

Seat Pressure Distribution Characteristics During 1 Hour Sitting in Office Workers With and Without Chronic Low Back Pain

  • Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a major problem for office workers. Individuals adopting poor postures during prolonged sitting have a considerably increased risk of experiencing LBP. This study aimed to investigate seat pressure distribution characteristics, i.e., average pressure, peak pressure ratio, frequency of postural shift, and body perceived discomfort (BPD), during 1 hour of sitting among office workers with and without chronic LBP. Methods: Forty-six participants (chronic LBP = 23, control = 23) typed a standardized text passage at a computer work station for an hour. A seat pressure mat device was used to collect the seat pressure distribution data. Body discomfort was assessed using the Body Perceived Discomfort scale. Results: Office workers with chronic LBP sat significantly more asymmetrically than their healthy counterparts. During 1-hour sitting, all workers appeared to assume slumped sitting postures after 20 minutes of sitting. Healthy workers had significantly more frequent postural shifts than chronic LBP workers during prolonged sitting. Conclusion: Different sitting characteristics between healthy and chronic LBP participants during 1 hour of sitting were found, including symmetry of sitting posture and frequency of postural shift. Further research should examine the roles of these sitting characteristics on the development of LBP.

건강신념모형을 적용한 사무직 근로자의 근골격계질환에 대한 인식도 및 예방프로그램 요구도 조사 (A Study on the Perception and Needs of Prevention Program for Musculoskeletal Disease of Office Workers Based on the Health Belief Model)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to research the health belief, perception and need of prevention program for musculoskeletal disease of office workers in a public corporation. Method: We surveyed 339 office workers at a industry based in Ahn Yang, Kyunggi Province, with questionnaires, during the period June 3rd - June 18th, 2004. Result: Forty-four percent of the subjects said they had musculoskeletal symptoms, and 10.9% said they had received medical treatment for musculoskeletal disease in the last year. Factors that affected perception of musculoskeletal disease were appeared to be perceived severity, perceived barrier, cue to action, marital status, regular exercise and age, and they explained 23.2% of perception of musculoskeletal disease. Factors that affected need of prevention program appeared to be perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefit and PC using hours, and they explained 20.8% of need of prevention program. Conclusion: In conclusion, we suggested that in management the prevention of musculoskeletal disease for office workers, it should be considered nursing intervention strategies to reinforce health belief.

사무직 근로자의 A, B형 성격유형에 따른 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 비교 (Factors Influencing Health Promoting Behaviour according to the Type A/B Personality of White Collar Workers)

  • Purpose: The study was done to identify factors influencing health promoting behaviour in office workers according to the type A/B personality. Methods: The data were collected by questionnaires from 249 workers in Seoul and Gyung-gi province. Measures were a health promoting behaviour, the type of personality, self-esteem, perceived health status, social support, and job stress. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients, t-test, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 15.0 version. Results: This study suggests that A type office workers have a little lower degree in health promoting behaviour, self-esteem, social support and have a higher degree in perceived health status, perceived symptoms and job stress than those of B type office workers. The factors which influence A type office workers on health promoting behaviour are social support, perceived health status and self-esteem, which accounted for 40.2% of the variance and those of B type office workers, self-esteem and perceived health status accounted for 24.5%. Conclusion: It needs to develop and operate self-management program for health maintenance and promotion for the type A/B personality White Collar Workers.

재택근무자를 위한 홈 오피스 가구디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Furniture Design for Home Office Worker)

  • 오피스의 개념이 바뀌면서 그 기능과 역할이 축소되고, 가정이 곧 사무실 화하는 업무형태가 주목을 받고 있다. SOHO(Small Office Home Ofice)라고 불리우고 있는 '가정내의 사무실' 즉 '홈 오피스'는 정보통신기술의 발달로 인해 가능해졌고, 기업의 리스트럭처링(Restructuring)붐을 타고 날로 확산 추세에 있다. 재택 근무 형태는 직원에게 여유 있는 시간과 집중력을 배가시킨 업무효율을, 기업에는 고정비용의 감소와 생산성 향상을 제공한다. 또한 교통문제나 환경문제를 해소할 수 있고, 여성이나 고령자, 장애자 등의 잠재 노동력을 활용할 수 있는 장점도 있다. 향후 업무형태의 주종을 이룰 것으로 예상되는 홈 오피스의 공간계획, 가구배치 등 디자인상의 문제를 연구하여 재택 근무자 들에게 효율적인 업무수행을 높이고 창조적인 환경을 제공하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 또한 합리적인 홈 오피스 가구디자인을 위해서는 건축, 인테리어 디자이너는 물론 정보통신 전문가, 고용문제 전문가 등 관련 분야의 전문가들이 공동으로 연구 추진되어야 할 것이다.

Association between body composition parameters and non-specific low back pain in sedentary workers

  • Objective: In clinical practice, there are a lot of exercise to reduce body weight or reduce the amount of body fat in order to solve back pain. However, many studies have contradicted the relationship between back pain and weight or body fat mass. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between fat mass, body mass index and low back pain of office worker. Design: Crossed-sectional study Methods: Among the white-collar workers diagnosed with non-specific back pain by doctors, subjects who were not included in the exclusion criteria were selected to measure the subject's body fat mass, body mass index, pain intensity, and disability index due to back pain. The NPRS was used for the intensity of back pain of office workers, and the ODI was used for the degree of disability due to back pain. A body composition analyzer was used to measure the body fat mass and body mass index of white-collar workers. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in the comparison between the normal group and the excessive group according to the criteria of fat mass and body mass index. In the correlation analysis of fat mass, body mass index, pain intensity, and disability index, it was found that there was a significant correlation between fat mass and body mass index. However, neither fat mass nor body mass index had a significant correlation with pain intensity and disability index. Conclusions: The fat mass and body mass index of office worker do not affect low back pain.

사무직 근로자를 위한 사회인지이론 기반 걷기 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of Walking Program based on Social Cognitive Theory for Office Workers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a walking program for office workers in terms of social cognitive theory, walking activities and physiological indexes. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The sample consisted of 50 office workers who were identified as having low levels of physical activity according to the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ Research Committee, 2005). The participants were recruited from two companies in Seoul. Of the 50 participants, 26 were assigned to the non-equivalent experimental group and 24 to the control group. The walking program consisted of six didactic sessions via e-mail, two individual telecoaching sessions and three support group meetings over ten weeks. Data were analyzed using SPSS 17.0 program. Results: The non-equivalent experimental group reported significantly higher posttest scores in walking activities and adhering to the walking protocol than the control group. There were no differences in reported self-efficacy, outcome expectations, body mass index and blood pressure between the two groups. Conclusion: These findings indicate that a walking program based on social cognitive theory is effective in increasing physical activities for office workers.
