Recently, object-oriented techniques have been used more and more for developments of an information system. But, established object-oriented methodologies are hard to express a business process of various abstract degrees in the analysis level and independent components of the system. They have difficulties in developing a large-scale information system of manufacturing industry such as PDM and CIM. This paper proposes an information system development methodology that imports the object-oriented IDEF0 (OOIDEF0) function model in analysis level. This methodology is made up of requirements gathering, system analysis, system design, and implementation. In requirements gathering level, organization diagram and interview technique are used for input data of OOIDEF0 function model. The OOIDEF0 function model, the interface model and function descriptions are made out in analysis level. Information objects and implementation objects are designed on the basis of the OOIDEF0 function model in design level. The database is built and programming is accomplished in implementation level. In order to prove the consistency and efficiency of the proposed methodology, the PDM system for ship production is modeled and prototyped.

Effective database is the key to manage automatic distribution system. Currently, automatic distribution system database has been studied with a relational concept. But, it is hard to describe the characteristic of automatic distribution system data which require real time management and composite type. This paper present the way how to design conceptual schema for EMS database using object-oriented concept which is free to decribe composite data type and support inheritance concept.

본 논문은 객체지향 데이타베이스 시스템에서의 내용 의존적 권한부여 기법을 제시한다. 현재까지 객체지향 데이타베이스를 위한 많은 권한부여 모델들이 제안되었으나 대부분 데이타베이스의 내용에 기반한 권한부여를 지원하지 못하였다. 본 논문은 객체지향 데이타베이스를 위한 기존의 내용 독립적 권한부여 모델을 클래스의 애트리뷰트의 값에 대한 술어를 이용하여 확장한 내용 의존적 권한부여 모델을 제시하였다. 제시된 모델은 객체의 값에 대한 명시된 조건을 만족하는 객체들을 집단화하여 그러한 객체들에 대해 하나의 권한을 부여할 수 있게 한다. 또한 부정 권한을 지원하며 긍정 권한과 부정 권한 사이의 충돌을 해결하기 위하여 강성 권한과 약성 권한의 개념을 지원한다. 또한 권한에 술어를 결합시킴으로써 생기는 여러 가지 문제점들을 지적하고 이를 해결한다. 특히 내용 독립적 권한부여 모델에서의 권한 연산들이 본 논문에서 제시하는 모델에서 그대로 적용될 수 없음을 보이고 연산들의 의미를 재정의 하였다.

The first medical text in which detailed treatments of diseases by combinations of materia medica are mentioned is the "Shanghanzabinglun(傷寒雜病論)". True meaning of the combinations of materia medica used in this text lies in the fact that the efficacy of a prescription transcends that of the linear sum of each materia medica. This kind of concept regarding the composition of a prescription has come to contribute to the formation of theories in prescriptionology; However, it is difficult to analyze and interpret the meaning of each prescription separately because of differences in interpreting methods, points of view, and terminologies used by members of different academical branches. Therefore, it is desirable that one should understand a prescription as having been modified from a basic prescription, and then bring the interactions of ingredients into the picture, finally understanding the efficacy and chief virtues of the targeted prescription. Nevertheless, with the massive information of prescriptions, which exist in the format of texts, it is impossible to efficiently take advantage of prescription analyzing methods, and therefore the range of analysis extremely restricted. In order to overcomes these weaknesses, this paper suggests that object-oriented prescription database be constructed and that a search program for education and research that could facilitate an efficient access to the database be developed as well.

본 논문에서는 객체관계형 지리정보 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논한다. 본 지리정보 시스템은 상용의 객체관계형 데이터베이스 시스템을 하부 구조로 사용하며, 객체지향 데이터 모델에 근거한 공간 객체모델, 공간 질의어 및 시각적 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하고 있다. 특히 본 시스템에서는 데이터베이스 상의 주색인(primary index)기법으로 적용 가능한 DOT 공간 색인 기법을 이용하여 효율적인 공간 질의 처리를 수행한다. 또한 본 시스템에서는 SDTS데이터 모델을 개념적 모델로 사용하며, SDTS의 공간 객체에 관한 개념적 모델은 지리정보 시스템 내에서 내부 데이터 모델인 객체지향 데이터 모델로 전환된다.

본 연구는 UML을 이용해 유스케이스에 의한 순차 다이어그램을 도출하여 클래스 다이어그램을 만든후 그 클래스 다이어그램에 의해서 XML 모델링과 데이터 모델링을 구현하고자 한다. XML 모델링을 위해 UML 클래스를 XML 문서로 변환시키는 가이드라인을 제시하고, 제시한 방법에 파라 UML 클래스를 XML DTD로 도출하는 예를 보일 것이며, 한편 데이터 모델링은 UML클래스를 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마와 객체-관계 데이터베이스 스키마 그리고 객체지향 데이터베이스 스키마로 변환시키기 위한 통합 설계 변환 방법을 제시하며, 제시한 변환 방법에 따라 각각의 데이터베이스 스키마를 구현했다.

본 논문에서는 객체 기술과 복잡한 구조적 데이터와 관련된 데이터베이스 구조를 효율적으로 표현하기 위한 통합 데이타 모델(UDM)이라고 하는 개념 데이터 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 E-R 모델, 의미 객체 모델, UML 등의 데이타 모델의 주요 기능을 데이타베이스 설계 관점에서 통합한 것이다. 이 모델은 시공간 멀티미디어 데이타의 복잡한 구조를 모델링하기 위해 제안된 객체-관계 모델을 단순화시키고 일부 기능을 확장시킨 버전이다. 이 모델은 현대적인 데이터베이스 응용의 주요한 의미적, 구조적인 정보의 표현을 지원하며, 관계, 객체-관계, 객체-지향, (반-)구조 데이터베이스 등 주요 논리적 데이터베이스 모델을 지원하도록 고안되었다. 데이터베이스 설계를 위한 도구로 통합 데이타 다이아그램(UDD)을 제안하며, 이 통합 데이타 모델로부터 논리적 뷰를 유도하기 위한 방법도 제안한다. 제안된 모델은 다양한 개념적 데이터베이스 설계를 위한 편리하고 실용적인 도구로 활용될 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to Propose data models for central database in integrated system for structural design building. In order to efficiently express data related to structure, I analyzed the structure design process and classified data considering design step. 1 used an object-oriented modeling methodology for logical data model and relational modeling for physical data model. Based on this model, we will develop an integration system with several applications for structure design. Each application will communicate through the central database.

기업의 웹 기반 인트라넷 시스템은 객체지향 언어로 개발되고, 데이터의 관리는 RDBMS를 이용하여 구축된다. 두 시스템은 이질적 패러다임에 기인하여 모델의 불일치성을 발생시킨다. 이 문제를 해결하고자 사용되는 ORM 프레임워크는 RDB의 테이블과 객체지향 언어의 객체를 매핑하는 구조로 응용프로그램의 개발이 복잡하고, 변경에 유연하지 못하여 기업형 인트라넷 시스템의 개발 및 유지보수에 어려움을 준다. 본 연구에서는 기존 ORM 프레임워크의 복잡성을 해소하고, 변경에 유연하여 기업의 인트라넷 시스템에 적합한 퍼시스턴스 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안한 퍼시스턴스 프레임워크는 테이블의 엔티티와 객체를 매핑하는 매핑 메타정보가 불필요하고, 소스코드를 자동 생성하여 개발 및 유지보수의 편의성을 제공하고, 변경에 유연하다. 제안 프레임워크는 Hibernate, iBATIS와의 테스트 결과 iBATIS와는 처리속도가 비슷했으나 iBATIS는 대용량 데이터 처리시 문제를 나타냈으며, Hibernate보다 약 3배 빠른 속도를 보였다.
