In this paper, we present a 20 GHz low-loss dual-mode channel filter designed by using mode matching method. The performance of dual-mode channel filter mainly depends on iris characteristics. Therefore the exact design of iris is the key point to get good frequncy response of the filter. MOde matching technique is widely used ot design several kinds of waveguide filters because it is simple in theory and can easily calculate the scattering matrices at the discontinuities with simple structure like iris coupled filters. Additionally the effect for finite thickness of the iris in the dual-mode cavity iflter is analyzed by te full-wave method, providing the exact filter implementation without trial and error.

IT839 프로젝트 시행에 따라 유비쿼터스 사회를 만들기 위해 임베디드 시스템과 같은 소형 시스템이 대두되고있다. 과거 임베디드 시스템은 통신 및 제어분야에 주로 사용하였으나 현재는 홈네트워크 분야로 확대 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템간의 연결을 통하여 소규모 망을 구성하고 실시간으로 접근 가능한 통신 프로그램을 구현하였다. 시스템 구현을 위해 PXA255 CPU가 내장된 XHYPER255B 보드에 임베디드 리눅스 및 OT기반으로 만든 통신 프로그램을 포팅하였으며 홈네트워크 시스템에 범용 시스템이 아닌, 임베디드 시스템이 적용 가능함을 테스트하여 겯과를 도출하였다.

Beause BiCMOS logic circuits consist of CMOS part which constructs logic function and bipolar part which drives output load, the effect of short faults on BiCMOS logic circuits represented different types from that on CMOS. This paper proposes new test method which detects short faults on BiCMOS logic circuits using current path graph. Proposed method transforms BiCMOS circuits into raph constructed by nodes and edges using extended switch-level model and separates the transformed graph into pull-up part and pull-down part. Also, proposed method eliminates edge or add new edge, according ot short faults on terminals of transistor, and can detect short faults using current path graph that generated from on- or off-relations of transistor by input patterns. Properness of proposed method is verified by comparing it with results of spice simulation.

As the trend of the automation is increasing, the usage of the programmable automation equipments like programmable controller(PC), numerical controller(NC), distributed control systems(DCS) and robot controller is greatly expanding in the area of the industrial equipments. But the development of the programing language for the programmable automatic equipment is rarely accomplished. In this paper, we propose design and implementation technique of the real-time mechanism control language by adding time constraint constructs and timing analysis constructs ot conditional statement and iteration statement of a programming language. Moreover, we made it possible to predict plausibility of time constraint constructs of a real time application program at compilation time and developing execution time analysiss technique.

A Dual Mass Flywheel system is a evolution to the reduction of torsional vibration and impact noise occuring in powertrain when a vehicle is eit-her moving or idling. The name already explains what it is : The mass of the conventional single mass flywheel is divided. One section continues to belong to the mass moment of inertia of the engine-side. The ot-her section increass the mass moment of inertia of the transmission-side. The two masses are connected via a spring /damping system. This reduces the speed at which the dreaded resonance occurs to below idle speed. Since 1984 Dual Mass Flywheel has been de-veloped again and again. But the prosidures of de-velopment of D.M.F system didn't have had differe-nce from conventional clutch system's trial and err-or This paper presents the method for systematical design of D.M.F system with demensionless design variables of D.M.F system mass ratio between two flywheels λ. natual frequency rate of two flywheel s, ${\gamma}$and viscosity coefficient ζ. And experimental re-sults are used to prove these theoretical results.

In resonant tunneling diodes with the quantum well structure showing the negative differential resistance (NDR), it is essential to increase both the peak-to-valley current ratio (PVCR) and the peak current desnity ( $J_{p}$) for the accurate digital switching operation and the high output of the device. In this work, a resonant interband tunneling diode (RITD) with single quantum well structure, which is composed of I $n_{0.47}$As/I $n_{0.52}$A $l_{0.48}$As heterojunction on the InP substrate, is fabricated ot improve PVCR and JP, and then the dependence of I-V charcteristics on the width of the quantum well was investigated.d.ted.d.

Use ot Intelligent devices that work on the ANSI/EIA 709.1 protocol is increasing. In this study an ANSI/EIA 709.1 protocol analyzer that can monitor and analyze the packets on LonWorks network is designed and developed. The device is based on TMS320LF2407A processor for decoding data packets, and uses XScale processor for sending data to the application program on PC. The application program has various analysis features as well as basic monitoring function. The developed device can be used for debugging purposes in development of any kind of LonWorks devices, and also it is useful in maintenance of LonWorks network or Lon Works devices.

Ornithine transcarbamylase (OTC) deficiency is the most common inborn error of urea cycle metabolism; it is inherited in an X-linked manner. The OTC catalyzes the third step of the urea cycle, the conversion of ornithine and carbamyl phosphate to citrulline. Deficiency of OTC leads to the accumulation of ammonia, causing neurological deficits. In most affected hemizygote males, OTC deficiency manifests as hyperammonemic coma that often leads to death in the newborn period, and those who recover from the coma may be neurologically impaired due to the sequelae of the hyperammonemic encephalopathy. In some, late-onset manifestations develop. We report a male neonate with early onset OT deficiency that had apnea and was comatous. On mutation analysis using DNA sequencing after polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of the 10 exons, deletions of 10 bases in codon 285, causing a frame shift was detected in exon 8. The mother and a sister were diagnosed as female carriers. Therefore, genetic counseling and the risk assessment could be provided to the family.

$\alpha$-Galactosidase was partially purified from the culture filtrate of pichia guilliermondii by Mannobiose-Sepharose affinity column chromatography. The galactosidase exhibited maximum activity at pH 4.5 and 4$0^{\circ}C$, and was stable in the pH and temperature ranges of 4 to 5.5 and 30 to 6$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. The enzyme was inhibited by $Hg^{2+}$ and $Ag^{2+}$. The enzyme activity was ot affected considerably by treatment with other metal compounds. The enzyme hydrolyzed melibiose to galactose and glucose, raffinose to galactose and sucrose, and $Gal^{3}Man_{3}(6^{3}-$\alpha$-galactosyl-1,4-mannotriose)$ to galactose and mannotriose. On the contrary, it could not hydrolyze $Gal^{3}Man_{4}(6^{3}-galactosyl-1,4-$\alpha$-mannotetraose)$.

There are a fair number of suffixes in English whose conditions on attachment refer to stress and/or segmental information contained within the words they attach to (see Siegel 1974, Jespersen 1942 and Marchand 1969). Through a wide study of relevant data, we will delve deeply into such phonological restrictions on the bases, which may as well be divided into four distinct types: haplological constraints; segmental constraints; prosodic constraints; and mixed types. We will further assume here that the category/ subcategorization requirements of affixes are subject to the Projection Principle (PP) as conceived in Kiparsky (1983). It will be shown how this PP interacts with phonological constraints placed upon the affix in question, especially in the treatment of-ful (inventful/mournful) or -en (longen/lengthen). Our account of problematic affixations in English is based on a number of violable constraints in OT.
