Statement of problem. As the effects of the various diameters of fixture and abutment screw on stress distribution was not yet examined, this study focused on the different design of single implant restoration using three dimensional finite element analysis. Purpose. This study was to compare five different fixture-abutment combinations for single implant supported restorations with different fixture and abutment screw diameters. Material of methods. The five kinds of finite element models were designed by 3 diameter fixtures ($\oslash$3.3, 3.75, 5.0 mm) with 3 different abutment screws $\oslash$1.5, 1.7, 2.0 mm). The crown for mandibular first molar was made using UCLA abutment according to Wheeler's anatomy. 244 N was applied at the central fossa with two different loading directions, vertically and obliquely (30$^{\circ}$) and at the buccal cusp vertically. Maximum von Mises stresses were recorded and compared in the supporting bone, crowns, fixtures, and abutment screws. Results. 1. The stresses in supporting bone and implant-abutment structure under oblique loading were greater than those under vertical or offset loading. The stresses under vertical loading were the least among 3 loading conditions regardless of the implant and abutment screw diameters. 2. The stresses in the narrow implants were greater than the wider implants. The narrow implant with narrow abutment screw showed highest stresses in the lingual crest, but the narrow implant with standard abutment screw showed highest stress in abutment screw. 3. The stresses of abutment screws were influenced by the diameter of fixtures and loading conditions. The wide implants showed least difference between two different abutment screw diameters. Conclusions. The wide implants showed lesser stresses than the narrow implants and affected least by the different abutment screw diameters. The narrow implants with standard abutment screw showed highest stresses in the lingual bony crest under oblique loading.
Statement of problem. More than 70% of patients who need the implant supported restoration are parially edentulous. The principles of design for implant supported fixed partial denture in mandibular posterior region are many and varied. Jurisdiction for their use is usually based on clinical evaluation. There are several areas or interest regarding the design of implant supported fixed partial denture in mandibular posterior region. 1) Straight and tripod configuration in implant placement, 2) Two restoration types such as individualized and splinted restorations. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to compare the amount and distribution of stress around the implant fixtures placed in the mandibular posterior region with two different arrangements and to evaluate the effects of splinting using the photoelastic stress analysis. Material & methods. 1) Production of study model: Mandibular partially edentulous model was waxed-up and duplicated with silicone and two models were poured in stone. 2) Fixture installation and photoelastic model construction: Using surveyor(Ney, USh), 3 fixtures(two 4.0 $\times$13 mm, one 5.0$\times$10 mm, Lifecore, USA) were insta)led in straight & tripod configurations. Silicone molds were made and poured in photoelastic resin (PL-2. Measurements group, USA). 3) Prostheses construction: Four 3-unit bridges (Type III gold alloy, Dongmyung co., Korea) were produced with nonhexed and hexed UCLA abutments and fitted with conventional methods. The abutments were tightened with 30 Ncm torque and the static loads were applied at 12 points of the occlusal surface. 4) Photoelastic stress analysis : The polarizer analyzer system with digital camera(S-2 Pro, Fujifilm, Japan) was used to take the photoelastic fringes and analysed using computer analysis program. Results. Solitary hexed UCLA restoration developed different stress patterns between two implant arrangement configurations, but there were no stress transfer to adjacent implants from the loaded implant in both configurations. However splinted restorations showed lesser amount of stresses in the loaded implants and showed stress transfer to adjacent implants in both configurations. Solitary hexed UCLA restoration with tripod configuration developed higher stresses in anterior and middle implants under loading than implants with straight configurations. Splintied 3 unit fixed partial dentures with tripod configuration showed higher stress development in posterior implant under loading but there were no obvious differences between two configurations. Conclusions. The tripod configuration of implant arrangement didn't show any advantages over the straight configuration. Splinting of 3 unit bridges with nonhexed UCLA abutments showed less stress development around the fixtures. Solitary hexed UCLA restoration developed tilting of implant fixture under offset loads.

The purpose of this study was to make the stress distribution produced by simulated different load under two types of internal connection implant system (stepped and tapered type) by means of 3D finite element analysis, The finite element model was designed with the parallel placement of the one fixtures ($4.0mm{\times}11.5mm$) with reverse buttress thread on the mandibular 1st molar. Two models were loaded with 200 N magnitude in the vertical direction on the central position of the crown, the 1.5 mm and 3 mm buccal offset point from the central position of the fixture. The oblique load was applied at the angle of $30^{\circ}$ on the crown surface. Von Mises stress value was recorded and compared in the fixture-bone interface in the bucco-lingual dimension. The results were as follows; 1. The loading conditions of two internal connection implant systems (stepped and tapered type) were the main factor affecting the equivalent bone strain, followed by the type of internal connections. 2. The stepped model had more mechanical stability with the reduced max. stress compared to $11^{\circ}$ tapered models under the distributed oblique loading. 3. The more the contact of implant-abutment interface to the inner wall of implant fixture, the less stress concentration was reduced.

Bias-dependent noise models of $0.2\mu\textrm{m}$ gate length P-HEMT's which are scalable with gate width are proposed. To predict S-parameters of the P-HEMT's the intrinsic parameters except for $\tau$ subtracted the offsets introduced in this paper are normalized to the gate width and then scaled. The small-signal model parameters are expressed as fitting functions of the drain current to $\textrm{I}_{dss}$ ratio and gate width. In addition, to estimate accurately noise parameters the noise temperature $\textrm{T}_{g}$ of the intrinsic resistance, the equivalent noise conductance $\textrm{G}_{ni}$ of the gate current noise source, and the equivalent noise conductance $\textrm{G}_{no}$ of the drain current noise source are adopted as the noise model parameters. The extracted values of $\textrm{T}_{g}$ are nearly independent of drain current and gate width and their average is around the ambient temperature. The extracted values of $\textrm{G}_{ni}$ are small enough to be neglected to the circuit characteristics. From the comparison of the noise model with only $\textrm{G}_{no}$ and that having $\textrm{T}_{g}$, $\textrm{G}_{ni}$ and $\textrm{G}_{no}$ to the measured data it is fund that even the former model is in good agreement with the measured noise parameters. Thus, from a practical point of view the noise model having only the drain current noise source is confirmed as a scalable bias-dependent model.

We present a structure and design method of the D8PSK modem compatible with the VDL mode-2 standard and performance test results of the developed modem. In VDL mode-2, the raised cosine filter is used only in the transmitter and a general low pass filter is used in the receiver. Consequently, we can not achieve ISI reduction but can have better spectrum characteristics. Although there is 1~2 dB performance degradation with an un-matched filter compared to that with a matched filter, it is more important to minimize adjacent channel interference in narrow band communications. The transmit signal is generated digitally to avoid the problems(I/Q imbalance and DC offset etc.) of analog modulators. In addition the digital down converter using digital IF sampling technique is adopted for the receiver. This paper contains the overall configuration, design method and simulation results based in part on the previously proposed structures and algorithms. It is confirmed that the modem transmits and receives messages successfully at a speed of max. 870 km/h over ranges of up to 310 km through the ground and in-flight communication tests.

The global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is using a direct sequence/spread spectrum (DS/SS) modulation. In order to recover the information data, the DS/SS system first performs a two-step synchronization process: acquisition and tracking. The acquisition process adjusts the phase difference between the received and locally generated acquisition sequences within ${\pm}T_c/2$ or less, where $T_c$ is the chip period. The tracking process performs fine synchronization. In this paper, we focus on the tracking issue. The single delta delay locked loop($\Delta$-DLL) is the optimal tracking scheme for a GNSS in the absence of multipath signals, where $\Delta$ means the spacing between the early and late correlation time offset. In the multipath environments, however, the $\Delta$-DLL suffers from huge estimation bias(denoted by $\beta$) caused by distorted correlation values. Although some modified schemes such as a $\Delta$-DLL with a narrow $\Delta$ and a double delta DLL (${\Delta}^{(2)}$-DLL) were proposed to reduce the estimation bias, they cannot remove the estimation bias completely and need more accurate acquisition process. This paper proposes a novel tracking scheme that can dramatically reduce the estimation bias, using the maximum slope change among the correlation outputs.

A low phase noise frequency synthesizer at X-Band which employs the subharmonic injection locking was designed and tested. The designed frequency synthesizer consists of a 1.75 GHz master oscillator - which also operates as a harmonic generator - and a 10.5 GHz slave oscillator. A 1.75 GHz master oscillator based on PLL technique used two transistors - one constitutes the active part of VCO and the other operates as a buffer amplifier as well as harmonic generator. The first stage operates a fixed locked oscillator and using the BJT transistor whose cutoff frequency is 45 GHz, the second stage is designed, operating as a harmonic generator. The 6th harmonic which is produced from the harmonic generator is injected into the following slave oscillator which also behaves as an amplifier having about 45 dB gain. The realized frequency synthesizer has a 7.4 V/49 mA, -0.5 V/4 mA of the low DC power consumption, 4.53 dBm of output power, and a phase noise of -95.09 dBc/Hz and -108.90 dBc/Hz at the 10 kHz and 100 kHz offset frequency, respectively.
This study was intended to study how social responsibility of small businesses affected tax avoidance. Specifically, it was intended to verify how social responsibility is influenced by tax psychological factors and how it is related to tax avoidance by making it an economic liability factor, an ethical liability factors. For him, the empirical data were reviewed, the questionnaire was prepared, and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS ver. 22.0 and PROCESS MACRO ver. 3.4. The verification showed that corporate economic and ethical responsibilities affected tax avoidance and that legal responsibility did not affect tax evasion, and that tax psychological factors mediated some of the effects of social responsibility on tax avoidance. Judging from the above results, it is doubtful that the prevention of tax evasion would require tax incentives to offset the costs incurred by an enterprise's economic responsibilities, and to establish a strict tax code to prevent one or two tax evasions from spreading throughout the group. In this study, however, there are limitations that arise from differences between variables omitted from the research model and methods of measuring tax hedges. Therefore, further studies using a wider variety of variables are required in subsequent studies.

In this paper, we present the design, fabrication and measurement of high efficiency GaN HEMT power amplifier using harmonic matching technique. In order to achieve high efficiency, harmonic load-pull simulation is performed, that is, the optimum load impedances are determined at $2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}$ harmonic frequencies as well as at the fundamental. Then, the output matching circuit is designed based on harmonic load-pull simulation. The measurement of the fabricated power amplifier shows the linear gain of 20 dB and $P_{1dB}$(1 dB gain compression point) of 33.7 dBm at 1.85 GHz. The maximum power added efficiency(PAE) of 80.9 % is achieved at the output power of 38.6 dBm, which belongs to best efficiency performance among the reported high efficiency power amplifiers. For W-CDMA input signal, the power amplifier shows a PAE of 27.8 % at the average output power of 28.4 dBm, where an ACLR (Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio) is measured to be -38.8 dBc. Digital predistortion using polynomial fitting was implemented to linearize the power amplifiers, which allowed about 6.2 dB improvement of an ACLR performance.
We had conducted a numerical modeling to investigate seismic properties of gas hydrate with field parameters acquired over the East sea in 1998. We used a 2-D staggered grid finite difference method to generate synthetic elastic seismograms for multi-channel seismic survey, OBC (Ocean Bottom Cable) survey and VCS (Vertical Cable Seismic) survey. The results of this study showed that the method using staggered grid yielded stable results and could be used to seismic imaging. We could find out the high amplitude anomaly and the phase reversal phenomenon of reflection wave at interface between the gas hydrate layer and free gas layer such a BSR (Bottom Simulating Reflector) which is the evidence for existence of gas hydrate in seismic reflection data. And we computed the reflection coefficients at the incident angles corresponding to offset distance with the synthetic seismograms. The reflection coefficients acquired from the numerical modeling were nearly consistent with the reflection coefficient computed by Shuey's equation.
