  • In this paper, an efficient frequency offset compensation design for OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is proposed. The conventional CORDIC(COordinate Rotation Digital Computer) algorithm for frequency offset compensation utilizes CORDIC hardware and complex multiplier. But, proposed structure utilizes only one CORDIC hardware.

  • New CMOS ROM cell is reported in this paper, distinguished from conventional ones in that it can be re-programmed by multi-times. It uses the comparator offset as the physical storage quantity and the MOSFET FN stress effect for offset programming. It demands very low offset for read, and works well in very low voltage. It can become a promising ROM solution for various SoC systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 높은 슬루율을 가지고 전압편차 (offset)보상 기능을 가지면서도 전력소모가 적은 고계조 TFT-LCD 데이터 드라이버 구동용 단일이득 연산증폭기(unit gain op-amp)의 바이어스 회로 및 구동 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 단일이득 연산증폭기는 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 전압편차 보상기능을 가진 단일이득 연산증폭기에 adaptive bias기능을 추가한 것으로써, 기존 구조에 비해 50%이상의 소비 전력 절감 효율을 보였다.

  • This paper presents an efficient frequency offset (FO) estimation algorithm for the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based wireless local area networks (WLANS). The packet preamble imformation is utilized on the high rate WLAN standards adopted by the IEEE 802.11a. We present FO estimation schemes using diversity. In the simulation results, we prove that the presented schemes can improve the estimation performance compared with the convolutional scheme.

  • After constructing master model utilizing CAD data originated by sketch, product NC data for polyurethane foam using digitized master model data. And model cutting is performed utilizing specially developed polyurethane foam cutting tool in machining center. In this study, it is discussed to construct concept of tool offset, method of tool offset and feature tolerance, etc., that is impossible for cutting of the polyurethane foam by CNC machine.

  • Voronoi diagrams for closed shapes have many practical applications, ranging from numerical control machining to mesh generation. Shape offset based on Voronoi diagram avoids the topological problems encountered in traditional offsetting algorithms. In this paper, we propose a procedure for generating a Voronoi diagram and an exact offset for planar curve. A planer curve can be defined by free-form curve segements. The procedure consists of three steps : 1) segmentation by minimum curvature, 2) construction of Voronoi diagram, and 2) generation of the exact offset.

  • In this paper, we develop a symbol/frame time and carrier frequency synchronization scheme for multi-carrier signaling in wireless mobile channels. The proposed scheme achieves simultaneous time synchronization and carrier frequency offset estimation. Simulation results show that the frequency offset of multiple sub-carrier spacings can be estimated and that performance is improved with robustness regardless of the cyclic prefix length.

  • This paper presents an efficient line-offset algorithm for general polygonal shapes with islands. A developed sweep-line algorithm (SL) is introduced to find all self-intersection points accurately and quickly. The previous work is limited to handle polygons that having no line-segments in parallel to sweep-line directions. The proposed algorithm has been implemented in Visual C++ and applied to offset point sequence curves, which contain several islands.

  • A new half bridge converter without DC offset of magnetizing current is proposed. The proposed half bridge converter can realize no DC offset of magnetizing current as well as no circulating current, and guarantee ZVS operation. Therefore it has high efficiency and high power density, especially in wide input range. The operational principle, DC conversion ratio and ZVS analysis are presented. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed converter can achieve a significant improvement in the efficiency.

  • Ab initio DFT 계산을 통해서 $Si/SiO_2$ 계면의 Band offset을 계산 했다. Si과 $SiO_2$ 각각의 물질을 계산한 결과로 얻은 로컬 퍼텐셜을 기준으로 Valence band와 Conduction band의 band edge의 위치를 결정할 수 있다. 그리고 계면 계산으로 얻은 로컬포텐셜을 이용하여 두물질의 로컬 퍼텐셜의 상대적인 위치를 결정할 수 있고 이를 이용하여 Band offset을 결정 할 수 있었다.
