The aim of this paper is to propose fighter aircraft's mission severity model which can be used as one of key factors for designing a structure and determining design life of KF-X. The mission severity is a quantitative data of flight loads and expressed by Nz(Vertical Load Factor) exceedances or occurrences. The severities of the flight loads depended on the circumstances of the countries which operate fighter aircraft. In this paper we have studied on Nz occurrences/exceedances of ROKAF fighter aircraft to generate mission severity model for the KF-X. The analyses of flight data were accomplished by using the Matlab.

본 연구에서는 피부전기활동을 이용한 졸음 검출시 발생되는 동잡음 제거법을 제안하였다. 운전 조작시 발생하는 동잡음을 제거할 수 없는 기존의 핸들형 전극의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 두 종류의 손목형 전극을 개발하였으며, 세 종류의 전극을 비교 실험한 결과, type I 전극을 개선한 손목형 전극 II가 동잡음 제거에 가장 효과적이었다. 가상 운전 실험을 통하여 동잡음 판별기준(IRI$\leq$10과 1.1$\leq$dNz)을 설정하고 이 기준을 동시에 만족하는 경우의 Nz값을 동잡음 발생이전의 Nz값으로서 치환하는 동잡음 제거 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 가상 및 도로 주행 실험결과 제안된 알고리즘은 동잡을 성공적으로 제거할 수 있었으며, 본 연구에서 제안된 알고리즘의 개선된 전극을 이용하여 구현된 시스템은 동일한 영향을 받지 않고 각성상태를 정확히 측정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

In the current research, thermal and catalytic thermogravimetric (TG) analysis of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) over natural zeolite (NZ), olivine, bentonite, HZSM-5, and HAl-MCM-41 were investigated using a TG analyzer and model-free kinetic analysis. Catalytic TG analysis of PET was carried out at multi-heating rates, 10, 20, 30, and 40 ℃/min, under nitrogen atmosphere. Apparent activation energy (Ea) values for the thermal and catalytic pyrolysis of PET were calculated using Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method. Although natural catalysts, NZ, olivine, and bentonite, could not lead the higher PET decomposition efficiency than synthetic zeolites, HZSM-5 and HAl-MCM-41, maximum decomposition temperatures on the differential TG (DTG) curves for the catalytic pyrolysis of PET, 436 ℃ over olivine, 435 ℃ over bentonite, and 434 ℃ over NZ, at 10 ℃/min, were definitely lower than non-catalytic pyrolysis. Calculated Ea values for the catalytic pyrolysis of PET over natural catalysts, 177 kJ/mol over olivine, 168 kJ/mol over bentonite, and 171 kJ/mol over NZ, were also not lower than those over synthetic zeolites, however, those were also much lower than the thermal decomposition, suggesting their feasibility as the proper and cost-effective catalysts on the pyrolysis of PET.

본 연구에서는 졸음운전 방지를 위한 방법으로 기존의 3단계 경고음법과 fuzzy logic을 이용한 가성도 측정 및 제어법을 시뮬레이션으로 비교 및 분석하였다. 각성상태를 제어하는 방법으로 사용되었던 기존의 각성제어지표는 실 차에는 사용될 경우 효과적이지 못하므로 각성상태에 따른 영역별 Nz와 IRI의 상관분포도를 분석하여 기존의 각성제어지표를 수정하였다. Fuzzy 추론으로는 Sugeno의 방법을 사용하였고 멤버쉽함수와 제어규칙 베이스는 수정된 각성제어지표로부터 결정하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 60이하의 IRI가 발생되는 경우, Nz의 변화에 따라 두 제어방법 모두 small, medium, big의 경고음이 발생되었으나 3단계 경고음법은 다음 단계의 발생영역이 될 때까지 같은 출력만을 발생한다. 그러나 퍼지추론의 출력은 피검자의 각성수준의 변화에 잘 추종하여 변화되었으므로 3단계 경고음법의 문제점을 해겨할 수 있었고 더욱이 퍼지 추론의 출력과 Nz와의 상관계수(r=0.99)가 매우 높았으므로, 실제 운전시 퍼지추론 방법을 이용한 각성도 평가 및 제어에 적용할 경우 3단계 경고음법 보다 효과적일 것으로 기대된다.

Backgrounds/Aims: To investigate if the increase in the number of cholecystectomies is proportional to symptomatic gallbladder-associated hospital admissions in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand (NZ). Methods: National healthcare registries were used to obtain data on all episodes of cholecystectomies and hospital admissions for patients ≥ 15 years from public and private hospitals. Results: Between 2004 and 2019, in Australia, there have been 1,074,747 hospital admissions and 779,917 cholecystectomies, 715,462 (91.7%) of which were laparoscopic, and 163,084 admissions and 98,294 cholecystectomies in NZ. The 15-54 years age group saw an increase in operative rates, +4.0% in Australia and +6.6% in NZ, and admissions, +3.7% and +5.8%, respectively. Hospital admissions decreased by -9.8% in Australia but the proportion of patients undergoing intervention increased by 10.8% (from 67.1% to 75.0% of hospital admissions). Procedural rates increased by +7.3% in NZ with no change in the intervention rate. Conclusions: In Australia, there has been a decline in symptomatic gallbladder-associated hospital admissions and a rise in intervention rate. Admissions and interventions have increased proportionally in NZ. There are higher rates of cholecystectomy and admission amongst younger demographics, compared to historical cohorts. Future research should focus on identifying risk factors for increased disease and operative rates amongst younger populations.

$Ch\acute{e}n\;Xiuyu\acute{a}n$(陳修園) was a famous doctor and educator of the late Tang Dynasty. He was well known both for his books for beginners, and for his unique medical theories based on his profound research of <$Sh\bar{a}ngh\acute{a}nl\grave{u}n$(傷寒論)> and <$J\bar{i}nku\grave{i}y\grave{a}ol\ddot{u}e$>. He wrote <$Y\bar{i}xues\bar{a}nz\grave{i}j\bar{i}ng$(醫學三字經)> to establish the basic textbook for the beginners to set up right principles in pursuing their medical career. <$Y\bar{i}xues\bar{a}nz\grave{i}j\bar{i}ng$> was written in rhyme form, so that it can be easily memorized and used in future practices. There are quite many medical books in rhyme form, but this book is very unique as $Ch\acute{e}n\;Xiuyu\acute{a}n$ annotated his own notes, which is rare in this form of books. This feature makes <$Y\bar{i}xues\bar{a}nz\grave{i}j\bar{i}ng$> very outstanding, also with the fact that $Ch\acute{e}n\;Xiuyu\acute{a}n$ was the one with profound understanding and original theories based on medical bibles such as <$N\grave{e}ij\bar{i}ng$(內經)> and <$Sh\bar{a}ngh\acute{a}nl\grave{u}n$(傷寒論)>. We have translated this precious educational material into korean, hoping that this work could be of any help to students of korean medicine. And while doing this work, we have found followings: <$Y\bar{i}xues\bar{a}nz\grave{i}j\bar{i}ng$> covers the entire fields of medicine from theoretical discussions to practical clinical information. Nevertheless, as this is written in rhyme form, there are few phrases that are not easily understood for the sake of rhyme. Beginners probably may have difficulties in reading this book. To make this difficulty alleviated, and to develop our own educational material, we need to study further on the notes that $Ch\acute{e}n\;Xiuyu\acute{a}n$ annotated himself.

Type I Interferons (IFNα) are known for their role as biological anticancer agents owing to their cell-apoptosis inducing properties. Development of an appropriate, cost-effective host expression system is crucial for meeting the increasing demand for proteins. Therefore, this study aims to develop codon-optimized IFNα-2b in L. lactis NZ3900. These cells express extracellular protein using the NICE system and Usp₄₅ signal peptide. To validate the mature form of the expressed protein, the recombinant IFNα-2b was screened in a human colorectal cancer cell line using the cytotoxicity assay. The IFNα-2b was successfully cloned into the pNZ8148 vector, thereby generating recombinant L. lactis pNZ8148-SP_Usp45-IFNα-2b. The computational analysis of codon-optimized IFNα-2b revealed no mutation and amino acid changes; additionally, the codon-optimized IFNα-2b showed 100% similarity with native human IFNα-2b, in the BLAST analysis. The partial size exclusion chromatography (SEC) of extracellular protein yielded a 19 kDa protein, which was further confirmed by its positive binding to anti-IFNα-2b in the western blot analysis. The crude protein and SEC-purified partial fraction showed IC₅₀ values of 33.22 ㎍/ml and 127.2 ㎍/ml, respectively, which indicated better activity than the metabolites of L. lactis NZ3900 (231.8 ㎍/ml). These values were also comparable with those of the regular anticancer drug tamoxifen (105.5 ㎍/ml). These results demonstrated L. lactis as a promising host system that functions by utilizing the pNZ8148 NICE system. Meanwhile, codon-optimized usage of the inserted gene increased the optimal protein expression levels, which could be beneficial for its large-scale production. Taken together, the recombinant L. lactis IFNα-2b is a potential alternative treatment for colorectal cancer. Furthermore, its activity was analyzed in the WiDr cell line, to assess its colorectal anticancer activities in vivo.

This paper describes compensation method to evaluate arousal level in different initial arousal state. Arousal level was measured by the relationship between IRI and Nz. The value of Nz is affected by BI which is variable with initial drowsiness. we introduced a correction factor to compensate these differences.

We show that for all $N{\geq}1$, the modular function field $K(X_0^+(N))$ is generated by j(z)j(Nz) and j(z) + j(Nz) over ${\mathbb{C}}$, where j(z) is the modular invariant. Moreover we derive the defining equation of the the modular function field $K(X_0^+(N))$ from the classical modular polynomial ${\Phi}_N(X, Y )$.
