현장 적용성을 고려한 섬유혼입 초고강도 콘크리트의 내화성능 평가 (An Evaluation of Fire Resistance Performance for Fiber-Mixed Ultra High Strength Concrete on Field application)

  • Recently, It has increased to use ultra high strength concrete. It is effective to mix organic fibers for preventing spalling. But if fiber mixed, flowability of concrete is decreases. The aim of this study is to evaluation of fire resistance performance for fiber-mixed ultra high strength concrete on field application. As a result, flowability of nylon fiber mixed concrete is better than polyethylene fiber mixed. In non-fiber and polyethylene fiber mixed concrete, spalling occurred. And strain converged at 0.004. Also, residual strength could not evaluate. Nylon fiber mixed concrete is effective to prevent spalling. And it remians 50% residual strength compare with compressive strength at room temperature.

Dyeing Properties of Nylon Fabric with Reactive Dyes Having Different Reactive Group

  • The dyeing properties of the several reactive dyes possessing different types of the reactive group on nylon 6 fabric have been investigated. Dyeing of nylon fiber with commercial reactive dyes was dependent on the dye bath pH. As pH increased, the extent of exhaustion decreased due to the deprotonation of the amino end group. But, the extent of fixation increased because of the enhanced reactivity with nylon fiber. It was found that all reactive dyes could be applied to nylon 6 reasonably at pH 5-6. But, the conflicting requirements of dye exhaustion and covalent bond formation limited the extent of fixation efficiency. The best method to improve the extent of the fixation efficiency of the reactive dyes was the conversion of sulphatoethylsulphone group to vinylsulphone group before dyeing with trisodium phosphate. The converted Supra type reactive dye gave the highest extent of fixation efficiency, which was about 90%.

Thiazole Based Disperse Dyes for Nylon and Polyester Fibers

  • Nine disperse dyes have been synthesized by diazotization of 2-amino-4-(p-nitrophenyl)-5-nitrothiazole and coupled to substituted N-alkylanilines. Spectral properties in the IR and visible range of the dyes obtained were investigated. The dyeing performance of these dyes was assessed on nylon and polyester fibers. These dyes were found to give reddish brown to bluish violet shades on dyeing with very good depth, brightness and levelness on nylon and polyester fibers. The dyed fibers showed fairly good light fastness, very good to excellent fastness to wash, rubbing, perspiration and excellent fastness to sublimation. The dyebath exhaustion and fixation on the fiber were found to be very good.

Comparison of Effects of Ultraviolet and $^{60}$ Co Gamma Ray Irradiation on Nylon 6 Mono-filaments

  • The effect of UV and $^60{Co}$ gamma radiations on the physical and mechanical properties of nylon 6 mono-filaments with different draw ratios has been studied. Specimens were exposed to either up to 25 Mrad of gamma or up to 168 hrs of intense UV irradiation. The results show that nylon mono-filaments exposed to gamma rays, with much higher quantum energy than UV, undergo a larger extent of molecular chain scission. Higher irradiation dose also results in the production of insoluble, macroscopic three-dimensional cross-linked network structure. The amorphous regions with a lower density of cohesive energy (lower molecular orientation) show a higher extent of cross linking reaction whereas amorphous regions with a higher density of cohesive energy (higher orientation) show higher extent of chain scission reaction, irrespective of UV ray or gamma ray irradiation.

  • 편평분할사는 복합방사법에 의한 편평 단면 형태의 분할형 초극세섬유로서, 기존 오렌지 형태인 Nylon/PET 극세사의 품종 다양화된 형태이다 분할은 Nylon과 PET의 비상용성인 특징을 이용, 물리적인 가공과 화학적인 가공에 의해 이루어지며 기존오렌지 형태의 PET/Nylon극세사에 비해 분할성이 우수하다고 보고되고 있다. 편평분할사의 용도는 Micro powder조의 Suede직물 등의 여성용 의류, 기능성 스포츠웨어, 2차 오염방지성이 우수하여 반도체 등의 정밀산업의 닦음천(Wiping Cloth)등의 크리너(Cleaner)용으로도 사용되어 질 수 있다. 섬유를 혼입한 지하층 누름콘크리트의 균열저감을 위한 연구 (A Study on Crack Reduction of Covering Concrete with Fibers in Basement)

  • 본 연구에서는 섬유를 혼입한 지하층 누름콘크리트의 균열 저감 특성에 관하여 분석되었다. 섬유의 최적 혼입량과 종류를 알아보기 위해 공기량, 슬럼프, 압축강도, 인장강도 및 소성수축시험을 실시하였다. 공기량 시험결과, 섬유를 혼입한 시편들이 플레인에 비하여 높은 공기량이 나타났다. 그리고 유동성 측정결과, 섬유를 혼입한 시편들이 플레인에 비하여 40-80%낮은 슬럼프를 나타냈다. 강토 특성에서는 섬유를 혼입한 시편들이 무근콘크리트에 비하여 높은 압축 및 인장강도를 나타냈다. 소성수축 시험결과 섬유를 혼입한 시편들이 플레인에 비하여 균열발생이 감소하였으며, 특히 NY섬유를 혼입한 시편의 경우에는 균열이 발생하지 않았다. 결과적으로 NY섬유를 0.6% 혼입하였을 때 누름 콘크리트에 최적의 특성을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Ethoxylated Hexylaminoanthraquinone에 의한 나일론의 내구성 대전방지가공 및 친수화 가공 (Durable Antistatic and Hydrophillic Finishing of Nylon Using Ethoxylated Hexylaminoanthraquinones)

  • Nylon fabric is widely used in stocking, inner wear, sports wear, and casual wear, but has a defect of easy electric static charging. Accordingly there has been great demand for the hydrophillic finishing technology that could be applied to nylon fiber more easily and efficiently. In this study, ethoxylated hexylantinoanthraquinones were exhausted onto nylon from aqueous bath, and hydrophillicity of the nylon was discussed. In the treatment of nylon fabrics with ethoxylated hexylaminoanthraquinones, they were successfully exhausted onto nylon fabric without any aid of chemical auxiliary. The hydrophilicity of the dyed nylon fabrics were increased with the length of ethoxylate chain. The durability of antistatic and hydrophilic characteristics was good enough as to maintain the initial properties even after 30 repeated launderings.

  • This study investigated the fundamental properties corresponding to various length changes on NY fiber reinforced concrete. For results of fresh concrete, the slump and air content were declined, but the unit volume weight and vebe time were increased. For the hardened concrete properties, the compressive strength showed increasing tendency according to the NY fiber length. The dry and autogenous shrinkage also decreased compared with Plain. Generally, the caes that 19 mm NY fiber was used was better than any other cases.

섬유보강 탄성받침의 설계 및 실험적 해석 (Design and Experimental Analysis of Fiber Reinforced Elastomeric Isolator)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mechanical properties of the FREI using horizontal stiffness and vertical stiffness by experiments. Two kinds of FREI are designed and fabricated. The steel plates of SREI are replaced with fibers in order to reduce the cost of fabrication and installation. At first, the Nylon fiber is adopted as feasibility study of FREI. The experimental results of Nylon FREI and SREI show that the vertical stiffness of Nylon FREI is lower than SREI, and effective damping is two times higher than SREI. Carbon is adopted, by these rusults, as strong reinforcement than Nylon and full scale of carbon FREI was designed and fabricated. By the experimental test results, it is shown that the vertical stiffness of carbon FREI is three times higher than SREI, and two times higher in effective damping. As a result, the proposed FREI can replace the SREI as a seismic isolator.

인 화합물에 의한 나일론 직물의 방염가공 (Flame Retardant Finishing for Nylon Fabric with Phosphate Compound)

  • The need for the effective flame retardant finishing for synthetic fiber Is required. This paper is focussed on the analysis of physical properties of nylon 6 fabric treated with tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate(TCEP) in comparision with the untreated fabric. In order to evaluate the flame retardance effect, limiting oxygen index and burn rate were determined. Above 20% add-on of TCEP on nylon 6 fabric, reasonable flame retardancy was observed. Thermal stability of the treated nylon 6 fabric was evaluated by TGA. It seems that TCEP acts via a condensed phase mechanism. Tenacity and moisture regain of the treated fabrics were not changed and washfastness of those was excellent.
