The purpose of this study is to analyze photochemical activity of nursery seedlings under drought stress, using chlorophyll fluorescence reaction analysis. Young nursery seedlings of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) and cucumber (Cucumis sativa L.), were grown under drought stress for 8 days. Analysis of chlorophyll fluorescence reaction (OJIP) and parameters, were performed to evaluate photochemical fluctuation in nursery seedlings under drought stress. Chlorophyll fluorescence reaction analysis showed maximal recorded fluorescence (P) decreased from the 5 day after treatment in tomato seedlings, while an amount of chlorophyll fluorescence increased at the J-I step. Thus, physiological activity was reduced. In cucumber seedlings, maximal recorded fluorescence (P) and maximal variable fluorescence ($F_V$) lowered from the 4 day after treatment, and chlorophyll fluorescence intensity of J-I step increased. Chlorophyll fluorescence parameter analysis showed electron transfer efficiency of PSII and PSI were significantly inhibited with decreasing $ET2_O/RC$ and $RE1_O/RC$ from the 5 day after treatment, in tomato seedlings and from the 4 day after treatment, in cucumber seedlings. $ET2_O/RC$ and $PI_{ABS}$ significantly changed. In conclusion, 6 indices such as $F_V/F_M$, $DI_O/RC$, $ET2_O/RC$, $RE1_O/RC$, $PI_{ABS}$ and $PI_{TOTAL}ABS$ were selected for determining drought stress in nursery seedlings. Drought stress factor index (DFI) was used to evaluate whether the crop was healthy or not, under drought stress. Cucumber seedlings were less resistant to drought stress than tomato seedlings, in the process of drought stress.
The present study was performed to investigate the effect of ozonation of the swine nursery building on indoor air quality and growth efficiency of the weanling piglets. Forty 21-day-old, cross-bred weanling piglets were housed in two ozonated or unozonated pens(10 males and 10 females per pen) for 3 wk alternately in a swine nursery building and this procedure was repeated three times. Ozone was generated using a commercial apparatus outside the nursery building and infused into the nursery building through a duct at a level of 0.03 ppm. Indoor concentrations of harmful gases were measured at 2-h intervals for a 24-h period per each 3-wk feeding trial. Indoor ammonia and carbon dioxide gas concentrations were reduced by the ozonation(P〈0.01) by 21% and 7%, respectively, compared with those of the control(unozonation), although hydrogen sulfide concentration was not affected by the treatment. However, the weight gain, feed intake and feed/gain of the piglets did not change due to the ozonation. Results suggest that ozonation of the swine nursery building is effective for improving the indoor air quality without affecting the production efficiency of weanling piglets.
The Integrated Center for Early Childhood Education and Care established 595 centers in 2013 that are integrated kindergarten and nursery centers. The Japanese government revised the law for the Center for Early Childhood Education and Care in 2012 and published the standards for equipment, management, and curriculum for early childhood education and care in April 2014. Presently the standards for equipment and management for integrated centers for early childhood education and care is based on a higher level than kindergarten and nursery centers. Therefore, the quality of education and care that the kindergarten and nursery centers are currently providing can be expected to continue. However childhood education and care curriculum is excessively emphasized education. Because infants and toddlers of 0-5years are spending most of the day in integrated centers for early childhood education and care, the contents related to childcare should be strengthened.
Objective: The objective was to evaluate the efficacy of increasing supplementation of Yarrowia lipolytica (YL) up to 3.0% replacing 1.6% poultry fat and 0.9% blood plasma for growth performance, intestinal health and nutrient digestibility of diets fed to nursery pigs. Methods: Twenty-four pigs weaned at 24 d of age (initial body weight at 7.2±0.6 kg) were allotted to three dietary treatments (n = 8) based on the randomized complete block. The diets with supplementation of YL (0.0%, 1.5%, and 3.0%, replacing poultry fat and blood plasma up to 1.6% and 0.9%, respectively) were fed for 21 d. Feed intake and body weight were recorded at d 0, 10, and 21. Fecal score was recorded at every odd day from d 3 to 19. Pigs were euthanized on d 21 to collect proximal and distal jejunal mucosa to measure intestinal health markers including tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin-8, immunoglobulin A and immunoglobulin G. Ileal digesta was collected for apparent ileal digestibility (AID) of nutrients in diets. Data were analyzed using Proc Mixed of SAS. Results: Supplementation of YL (1.5% and 3.0%) replacing poultry fat and blood plasma did not affect growth performance, fecal score and intestinal health. Supplementation of YL at 1.5% did not affect nutrient digestibility, whereas supplementation of YL at 3.0% reduced AID of dry matter (40.2% to 55.0%), gross energy (44.0% to 57.5%), crude protein (52.1% to 66.1%), and ether extract (50.8% to 66.9%) compared to diets without supplementation. Conclusion: Yarrowia lipolytica can be supplemented at 1.5% in nursery diets, replacing 0.8% poultry fat and 0.45% blood plasma without affecting growth performance, intestinal health and nutrient digestibility. Supplementation of YL at 3.0% replacing 1.6% poultry fat and 0.9% blood plasma did not affect growth performance and intestinal health, whereas nutrient digestibility was reduced.
Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors influencing the depression of teachers in child day care centers. Methods: The study 181 teachers working at national/public or child day care centers certified by Seoul Metropolitan government in Seoul, South Korea. Data from September to October 2021, and emotional labor, job stress, ego resilience, stress resilience, and depression. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The average depression of child day care center's teachers 8.52±7.58 out of 60 points, and the depression group (above 21 points) was 9.4%. Depression in child day care center's teachers was positively correlated with job stress (r=.42, p<.001) and negatively correlated with ego resilience and stress resilience (r=-.55, p<.001). Factors affecting depression of child day care center's teachers were found to be job stress (p=0.005), ego resilience (p<.001), stress resilience (p=0.031) and the explanatory power of these variables was 39%. Conclusion: Results of this study indicate that in the future development of depression intervention programs for teachers of child day care centers, it is necessary to include measures that reduce job stress and strengthen ego resilience and stress resilience.
This study is aimed at investigating the compensatory education which was already implemented or is being implemented in the U.S.A. and Japan; and at studying the types of programs and their characteristics; and at sounding out the possibilities of the application of such programs in family and social conditions is Korea. In order to achieve the above mentioned objectives, the established items for the study are as follows: (1) Various types of early children's education (2) Programs of compensatory education for the disadvantaged Children (3) Head Start Program, Early Training Project and Montessori School (4) Integrated Preschool Programs (5) Day-Care Center for employed mothers We investigated the various compensatory education programs for the preschool children who are in economically, socially, culturally disadvantaged conditions. Head Start Programs were federally supported programs for preschool children and opened as summer programs in 1965 for the first time. The purpose of Head Start has been to give preschool children the kinds of experiences they need in preparation for school. The Head Start children were found to be significantly better prepared for school than the normal children. However, after six to eight months, their initial advantages had virtually. disappeared and then the simple problem with Head Start and other such programs was that little long-term good could be evidenced unless the high quality educational environment was maintained. Therefore, to solve this problem, three other programs were funded as part of the overall Head Start. These three programs are the Parent-Child Center, Home Start, and the Child and Family Resources Program. The Early Training Project for disadvantaged children was implemented by Klaus and Gray of Peabody College in 1962. The program was a field research study concerned with the development and testing over time of procedures for improving the educability of young children from low income homes. Its major concern was to study whether it was possible to offset the progressive retardation observed in the public schooling careers of children, living in deprived circumstances. Children, who were trained through the Early Training Project were superior to control groups in the test of IQ and vocabulary as well as linguistic abilities, and preparation for reading. This project showed the possibilities which could prevent preschool children from being disadvantaged socially, culturally and mentally. In 1907, Montessori School was established by Maria Montessori in Italy and her school program has been introduced at present to several countries in the world as one compensatory educations. She first began her experimental methods with retarded children, followed by disadvantaged children from the tenements of Rome. The Montessori approach futures a prepared environment and carefully designed, self-correcting materials. The Montessori curriculum presents tastes that feature sequence, order, and regularity, in addition to those that develop motor and sensory skills. She was interested in children's intellectual development and in developing good work habits. One of the latest developed programs for disadvantaged children is "Integrated Preschool Program" which has successfully integrated handicapped and nonhandicapped children. Several studies have showed that handicapped children in integrated school environments are accepted by and interact with their nonhandicapped peers. In fact, this program provides a number of potential, and perhaps opportunities for nonhandicapped children to serve as valuable resources in fostering the development of their handicapped peers. Next we turn to Japanese programs which are divided into two different types. One is Day-Care Center which was established by Child Welfare Law and the other is kindergarten organized by School Education Law. The kindergarten opened in 1876 and it has been part of school systems since 1947 by the implementation of education law, and the Day-Care Center which started in 1890 for the employed mothers. was changed into Day-Nursery by the enactment of child welfare law in 1947. The laws and operational regulations for the Day-Nursery were set up and were put in effect by the establishment standard acts of children welfare facilities, and the Day-Nursery has been operated in various types by the increasing demand, chiefly because of the socio-economical changes of family structures in both urban and suburban areas. Nursery education for physically and mentally disadvantaged children is for those who are blind, deaf and dumb, mentally retarded; physically disadvantaged by accidents or diseases. Montessori education in Japan was started in 1968 and many research groups for studying Montessori were organized. In 1977, Montessori remedial education society was also organized in which they started a number of studies; a study for developing materials; in-service training for the remedial education; and seminars and lectures, etc It is strongly suggested that we study the early educations that are being implemented in Japan and a variety of compensatory educations that were already implemented in the U.S.A. and modify them for the organization of our own model and properly accommodate them to our social needs.
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of seedling age and irrigation set point on the growth and yield of white spined cucumber cv Sharp-1. Leaf area, number of lateral vines and root weight measured 70 days after planting were the greatest in 30 day-old seedling treatment. Inorganic element content measured 30 days after planting was the greatest in 30 day-old seedling treatment. Total and marketable yields were greater in 30 day-old seedlings than those of 20 or 40 day-old seedlings. The early yield was the least in 20 day-old seedlings. 40-day old seedlings lost vigor quickly. No significant differences in growth and yield observed as affected by irrigation set point.

1. A nursery school principal must think over physical stamina and health of his children, and he must make an epoch making changes to nutrition control. I think that authorities concerned must give weight to quality before quantity to manage the nursery school. If the nursery school principal who has aid received from abroad and his native country must manage the nursery school rationally. It is expected that, though the nutrition level is below the level of sports middle school children, it is above the common level of home children. 2. I fear that the calories which the pupils of sports middle school assimilate a day on the average is apt to be more calories as compared with other pupils of their age(weight). This is also true for their level of activity. It is required that the nutritionist must recheck the quantity of the calorie provision. 3. I took no thought about infection with parasites in this thesis. It is because that the pupils of sports middle school have much Hb (hemoglobin), because they have had meals with a settled menu for a year or two. So, that it is expected that it is caused only by the nutritious foods regardless of parasites and that they have little Hb(hemoglobin). Besides though they are little pupils, because they have much Hb. Of taking the level with upper life classes of the the Ewha Girls University students, it will be more reliable. Therefore as we maintain the states of health of the common home children and nursery school children normally, to increase the national power, the managers of nursery schools or the heads of families must pay attention to the control of nutrition, and authorities concerned must pay attention to the control of nutrition, and authorities concerned must take the trouble much more to the management of nursery school.1. We have been undertaking the occupations of the family plannings for more ten years. But we have still failed to realize the anticipated result in the farm villages. Though it is not in this district, I think that we must make efforts in these occupations urgently, and control increases in population, decrease the consumptions of food and salt, and contribute to the increasing of the general income. 2. There is a tendency to take a little more salted foods in the cities than in the farm villages. But we are apt to take more salt in quantity(20g) to be taken in a day both in the cities and in the farm villages than it is necessary to us. So it is required that we must grope for a means of increasing of the general income as early as possible, and that we must improve our diet to be got rid of dietary life in importance. And so we have to study throughly the side effect caused due to too much salt to be taken in, if it is discovered, we must spour on a means of sweep of it.
Seedling characteristics of rice on nursery covered with different weight of polypropylene spunbonded fabric(PSF) were investigated to determine the optimum thickness of PSF for raising of healthy rice seedlings. Four different thickness of PSF 40, 60, 80 and $100g/m^2$ were used in the seedling nursery with a conventional polyethylene(PE) film. PSF and PE were taken off in 20 days after sowing(DAS) on April and in 10 DAS on June. Plant height of 20- and 30- day old seedlings in PSF covering nursery was slightly taller as the increase of PSF thickness from $40g/m^2$ to $100g/m^2$, but number of leaves and shoot dry-weight of the seedlings was reduced. Root solidity of seedlings grown in lighter PSF ($40{\sim}60g/m^2$) covering nursery was more favorable than that in relatively heavier PSF($80{\sim}100g/m^2$). The optimum thickness of PSF for the raising of healthy seedlings was $40{\sim}60g/m^2$ PSF at sowing on April 20 and April 30 for single cropping, and $40g/m^2$ PSF on June for double cropping based on the growth characteristics of seedlings investigated at seedling nursery covered with different thickness of PSF.

The purpose of this study is to identify the needs of the nursery director, teachers, parents, and the general public regarding the use of mandatory CCTV. In other words, we will examine the benefits, problems, and solutions of mandatory CCTV. The subjects of this study included families, private day care centers, private presbytery, kindergartens, teachers, parents and the general public in D metropolitan city. The research tools were modified and supplemented questionnaires appropriately for the study purpose with reference to the previous research. Collected data was analyzed by frequency and F-test using SPSS 21.0 program. The main results of this study are as follows: First, the benefits of mandatory CCTV for daycare centers is that CCTV becomes objective evidence of human rights incidents, identifies violence among children, and can take measures. In addition, mandatory CCTV can also reduce or prevent abuse. Second, major problems concerning the mandatory use of nursery school CCTV include privacy, violation of basic rights, and education. CCTV is a stressful factor that causes teachers to feel embarrassed, uncomfortable, and tense. Third, the main improvement measures for the nursery school CCTV mandate are to prevent unfair staff and complement existing guidelines for CCTV use. Based on the results of the study, we detail the benefits, problems, and solutions for the nursing home CCTV mandatory poli.
