  • We introduce the notion of TL-p-subgroups that is an extension of the notion of fuzzy p-subgroups and show that a torsion TL-subgroup of an Abelian group with T=∧ can be written as the intersection of its minimal TL-p-subgroups.

  • The notion of expansions of filters in $R_0$-algebras is introduced. Also the notion of ${\sigma}$-primary filters in $R_0$-algebras is discussed.

  • In this paper we give a notion of pairwise functional compactness in bitopological spaces. We characterize this class of spaces in terms of continuous functions and covers. Also, a characterization in terms of multifuncions is stated.

  • The notion of Ap* of a fuzzy subgroup A is introduced. Using the notion, we characterize fuzzy subgroups and show that every commutative fuzzy subgroup characterized as the intersection of its all minimal fuzzy p*-subgroups.

  • In this paper, we use the notion of characters of transformations provided in [8] by Purisang and Rakbud to define a notion of weak regularity of transformations on an arbitrarily fixed set X. The regularity of a semigroup of weakly regular transformations on a set X is also investigated.

  • It was the turning point in the "fixed point arena" when the notion of weak commutativity was introduced by Sessa [9] as a sharper tool to obtain common fixed points of mappings. As a result, all the results on fixed point theorems for commuting mappings were easily transformed in the setting of the new notion of weak commutativity of mappings. It gives a new impetus to the studying of common fixed points of mappings satisfying some contractive type conditions and a number of interesting results have been found by various authors. A bulk of results were produced and it was the centre of vigorous research activity in "Fixed Point Theory and its Application in various other Branches of Mathematical Sciences" in last two decades. A major break through was done by Jungck [3] when he proclaimed the new notion what he called "compatibility" of mapping and its usefulness for obtaining common fixed points of mappings was shown by him. There-after a flood of common fixed point theorems was produced by various researchers by using the improved notion of compatibility of mappings. of compatibility of mappings.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the formation process of housing notion for later life of the elderly which is based on one's lifetime housing experiences. Qualitative data was collected through in-depth interviews with 6 highincome, highly educated aged women, who could select their housing and move voluntarily in old age and explain their housing experiences logically. The findings of this study showed that housing notion for later life was formed through a complex process of individual personality, lifestyle, housing experiences, housing values, housing market and period background as well as socio-demographic characteristics. This qualitative study has a significance as a holistic approach to reveal the lifelong experience of elderly individuals which had not been to deal in the quantitative research of housing for the elderly in the meantime.
