This paper present the result of the investigation, the electric properties of insulators due to non-soluble contamination. In general, the humidity and the amount of soluble salts such as NaCl, MgCl$_2$are the most dominant factor. Though the non-soluble do not distribute on conductivity of contaminant layer, that has the hygroscopic property. For this study, we make a mini-fog chamber with transparent acryl and the kaoline was used for non-soluble contaminant. The kaoline was applied with sprayer to get the specific ESDD and NSDD value, then the specimen was dried and installed horizontally. And to measure the leakage current a DAS system was developed with LabView. With the result, we could know the influence of non-soluble content and the relationship between NSDD and ESDD.
This research was carried out to study the effect of mulching materials and weed control methods on weed occurrence and growth of kale on upland and paddy soil of field culture at spring and autumn season. Paddy soil temperature of mulching treatments was high by $0.9{\sim}2.0^{\circ}C$ in comparison of non-mulching at autumn season. The control value of weed was over 91% at mulch paper and time required for weed control was reduced by 70% at mulch paper + machine weeding in comparison of non-mulching + hand weeding. The yield of kale was similar to that of conventional culture. Paddy soil temperature of mulch paper was higher on April, but lower on May and June than non-mulching at spring season. Dominant weed was Chenopodium album var. centrorubrum Makino, The control value of weed was over 91% at mulch paper, time required for weed control was reduced by 75% at mulch paper + machine weeding in comparison of non-mulching + hand weeding and the yield of kale increased by 34% than conventional culture. Dominant weed was Alopecurus aequalis var. amurensis Ohwi. on paddy soil at autumn season. The control value of weed was 43% at mulch paper. Time required for weed control was reduced by 80% at mulch paper + machine weeding in comparison of non-mulching + hand weeding. The yield of kale increased by 26% compared with than of conventional culture.
Purpose: In this study, dominant eye is monitoring and level of dominant was measured in subjective and objective test. Methods: The average age of 21.08 years old of 129 adult (69 male, 60 female) who was no underlying ocular disease were participated in this study. dominant eye was determined by monocular instrument in subjecttive test and using a thin ring ($3.8cm{\times}3.8cm$) in objective test and level of dominant was measured direction of movement of the thin rim. Results: In the subjective test, there are 100 (77.52%) subjects whose dominant eye was right eye, and 29 (22.48%) subjects whose dominant eye was left eye. In the objective test, 90 (69.77%) subjects had right eye d and 33 (25.58%) subjects had left eye, as dominant eye, and 6 (4.65%) subjects had no dominant eye. Comparison of subjective test and objective test by dominant eye were equal in the 104 (80.62%) subjects, unequal in the 19 (14.73%) and center 6 (4.65%) subjects. The level of dominant eye in objective dominant eye test, there were middle 52 (57.78%) subjects, high 38 (42.22%) subjects in the right eye, and middle 25 (75.76%) subjects, high 8 (24.24%) subjects in the left eye. These days, the fantastic in opposition to classic beauty becomes a genre of creative body expression. The purpose of this study was to analyze the expressive characteristics of body types and meanings in recent fantastic fashion illustration. The method of this study was to analyze recent documentaries, fashion books, internet web site and so forth. The results were as follows: In literatures, pictures and movies, the category of the fantastic body's expressive types were classified as dominant mutant based on SF, multi body or fragment body by disruption, heterogeneous compound based on myth, personified humanoid and non substance in supernatural boundary. The dominant mutant based on SF was expressed image morphing, composition of machine image with body and modern metamorphosis of classic SF body. It means propensity to post-feminism and reservation of meaning analysis based on human unconsciousness. The multi body or fragment body by disruption in fashion illustration was expressed distorted composition of same body pictures, replacement of different bodies, deconstruction and partial omission of body and composition of meaning or non meaning images. It means permanence of self and basic narcissism. The heterogeneous compound based on myth was expressed general composition or optical illusion of various and aggressive animal motive. It means reinterpretation of original myth, metaphor of basic femme fatale, pursuit of permanence and sign of primitive mind in unconsciousness. The personified humanoid was expressed real human body description of mannequin or ball joint doll and anthropomorphism of robot image. It means representative satisfaction and nostalgia of childhood. The non substance in supernatural boundary was expressed grotesque description of ghost, zombie, vampire, angel, fairy, using of symbolic red, black color and non body. It means human's basic desire about immortality and taboo. Through the result of these study, the expression of fantastic body in fashion illustration will expend expressive method and we will understand human and cultural codes of today.
Objective: Compression wear is an external aid which promotes performance and recovery, diminishes muscular microtrauma, reduces muscle fiber recruitment, improves neuromechanics, enhances coordinative activities, and reduces the perceived exertion. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between athletic taping and compression wear on dynamic postural balance in healthy young men. The hypothesis was that the athletic taping and compression wear would affect dynamic postural balance, with athletic taping having a different effect on dynamic postural balance in healthy young adults. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Thirty-seven healthy young men participated in this study. To examine the association between athletic taping and compression wear, 3 clinical measurement tools, including 5 times sit-to-stand (5xSTS), one-leg standing (OLS) test, and Y-balance test (YBT) in 5 different conditions, namely (1) non-supporting, and support with (2) athletic taping, (3) regular compression wear, (4) silicon compression wear, and (5) double-fiber compression wear were used. Results: The distance of the Y-balance test (YBT) on both the dominant and non-dominant sides showed a statistically difference among the 5 supporting conditions (p<0.05). The distance measured via the YBT in the non-support condition was significantly different than that in the other four supporting conditions (p<0.05). However, 5xSTS and OLS were not significantly different in these supporting conditions. Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that athletic taping, silicon compression wear, and double-fiber compression wear were more effective for dynamic balance than non-supporting and regular compression wear.

This study focused on comparing the meteorological conditions in the Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) on high-event days and non-event days in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA). We utilized observed PM10 and meteorological variables at the surface as well as at the upper heights. The results showed that high-event days were consistently associated with lower wind speed, whereas wind direction showed no particular difference between high-event and non-event days with frequent westerlies and northwesterlies for both cases. During high-event days, the temperature was much warmer than the monthly normal values with a sharp increasing trend, and Relative Humidity (RH) was higher than the monthly normal, especially on high-event days in February. During high-event days in spring, a double inversion layer was present at surface and upper heights. This indicates that stability in the multi-layer is an important indicator of higher PM10 concentrations. Net radiation in spring and winter is also closely associated with higher PM10 concentrations. Strong net radiation resulted in large sensible heat, which in turn facilitated a deeper mixing height with diluted PM10 concentrations; in contrast, PM10 concentrations were higher when sensible heat in spring and winter was very low. We also confirmed that convective and friction velocity was higher on non-event days than on high-event days, and this was especially obvious in spring and winter. This indicated that thermal turbulence was dominant in spring, whereas in winter, mechanical turbulence was dominant over the SMA.

Background: This study investigated the effects of face-to-face and non-face-to-face McKenzie exercises and elastic band strengthening exercises on falls and fitness in older adults. Methods: A total of 44 subjects were divided into a face-to-face group (FG; n=22) and a non-face-to-face group (NFG; n=22) who met older adults. Both groups used McKenzie exercises and strength training with elastic bands The fall efficacy scale (K-FES) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) Pro were used to compare the senior fitness test (SFT). Results: No significant differences were detected between the two groups before the intervention; however, a significant difference was noted in the K-FES scores after the intervention. The change in HbA1c after the intervention was not statistically significant in the FG or the NFG, and no significant difference was detected between the two groups. The change in lower limb muscle strength in the elderly physical fitness test showed no significant difference between the two groups before or after the intervention. The change in upper limb flexibility after the intervention was not significantly different in the FG or NFG, indicating no significant difference between the two groups. The change in the 3-meter round-trip test after the intervention was significantly different in both the FG and NFG groups, but the difference between the groups was not statistically significant. The change in the grip strength test of the dominant hand showed no significant difference after the intervention in the FG or the NFG, and the difference between the FG and NFG groups was not statistically significant. The dominant foot external standing after the intervention was significantly improved in the FG, but no significant difference was detected in the NFG, and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant. Conclusion: The study findings revealed that FG and NFG McKenzie exercises and elastic band strengthen exercises were equally effective at preventing falls and improving fitness in older adults.
This study aims to analyse difference in biomechanical factors between dominant legs and recessive ones according to muscular imbalance during drop landing targeting talented children in sports. The subjects of the study were ten primary students who are attending to Sports Program for Talented Children organized by C university (age: $12.28{\pm}0.70$ year, height: $1.52{\pm}0.11$ m, and weight: $45.2{\pm}4.9$ kg). Strength legs were classified into dominant side and strengthless legs were classified into non-dominant legs. For three-dimensional analyses of the data collected, 6 video cameras(MotionMaster200, Visol, Korea) were used. To analyse ground reaction force, two force platforms(AMTI ORG-6, MA) were used and to analyse electromyograghy a 8-channeled wireless Noraxon Myoresearch made in USA was used at 1000 Hz for sampling. As a result, it was discovered that the dominants legs controlled knee bending motions more stably than strengthless legs as the maximum vertical ground reaction force was significantly high in dominant legs(p<.05), and joint moment of knee joints of the dominant legs was high(p<.05). Therefore, this study suggested that injury prevention program focusing on muscular balance as well as the existing sports programs for talented children should be developed based on results of the study and it is expected that the results will be useful for improvement of sports programs for talented children.

The Korean peninsula belongs to the temperate forest biome dominated by many deciduous oaks. We quantitatively and qualitatively studied vertical and horizontal distributions and habitat characteristics on the major oak species such as Quercus mongolica, Q. serrata, Q. variabilis, Q. dentata, Q. aliena and Q. acutissima. A total of 5,278 samples were analyzed with a species coverage and 6 principal environmental variables extracted from public database of nationwide natural environment survey. Correlation analysis was accomplished by the CANOCO using Canonical Correspondence Analysis and the Pearson correlation coefficient using PASW Statistics. The hierarchical distribution tendency of six oaks was finalized using the Goodman-Kruskal lambda coefficient of non-metric multidimensional scaling by SYN-TAX 2000. The utmost factor on the distributional segregation of oak species was the elevation, i.e. temperature. Q. serrata and Q. mongolica show clearly a diametrical distribution patterns with zonal distribution. Q. variabilis was determined as a thermophilic and xerophilous species that is a component of not only natural pseudo-climax forest but also secondary forest. The highest frequency of the dominant forest was found Q. mongolica. Whereas, Q. serrata showed the highest frequency of individual tree but the relatively lower frequency of dominant forest, which is resulted from the original habitat loss. By the benefit of the traditional Soopjeong-E, Q. acutissima dominant forests were remained rather largely. Individuals of Q. dentata occurred horizontally nationwide, but its dominant forest was the poorest. Dominant forest of Q. aliena, which is a natural vegetation, was the most rare due to a limited potential habitat.

Since the 1990's, the most important environmental issue on the earth is characterized by "global worming problem". The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) plays an significant role to solve this problem on a worldwide scale. The main purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact of $CO_2$ reduction on the Daegu regional economy through 1995 regional input-output coefficients derived from the 1995 national input coefficients table by using non-survey method. The sectoral impacts on output, income, and employment were computed under the decline-unequalized assumption in final demand influenced by $CO_2$ reduction. This article has six main sections. Section 1 is an introduction to this paper. Section 2 explains briefly the derivation method of the regional technical coefficients. Section 3 describes the model building through input-output multipliers. In section 4 regional data on output, income, employment and final demand are computed to estimate the regional impacts. Section 5 deals with impact analysis on the Daegu economy. Section 6 contains a brief summary and concludintg remarks. The research findings of this study can be summarized as follows. In 1995, under the assumption of 10% decrease on an average in final demand sectors, the economy of the region studied decreased \3600 billion of output, ₩1114 billion of income, and 49919 man-years of employment. The percent ratios of each value to the total showed 9.4%, 9.7%, and 9.2%, respectively. The dominant sectors associated with impact analysis within the region are chemicals and chemical products, paper, printing and publishing, and textiles and leather, etc; nevertheless, the least dominant sector is non-metallic mineral products. products.
