Seismic Response Analysis of a Isolated Lumped-Mass Beam Model (면진된 집중질량 보 모델의 지진응답해석)

  • For obtaining the time history nodal responses of reactor building, a lumped-mass beam model composed of two sticks for the reactor building and the reactor support structure is developed. The time history responses for the non-isolated and isolated reactor buildings are calculated under an artificial time history, generated using the seismic spectrum curve of US NRC RG1.60. The analysis results show that the horizontal accelerations of the isolated building are dramatically decreased to one-tenths of the non-isolated one, but the vertical responses are increased by about 40%.

  • A generalized finite difference method for solving solid mechanics problems such as elasticity and crack problems is presented. The method is constructed in framework of Taylor polynomial based on the Moving Least Squares method and collocation scheme based on the diffuse derivative approximation. The governing equations are discretized into the difference equations and the nodal solutions are obtained by solving the system of equations. Numerical examples successfully demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed method.

  • The market participants make plans of bidding and transaction strategies to maximize their own profits in competitive electricity market. Also, It is concerned with transmission congestion in power market. Two methods are generally used for congestion management;nodal pricing and uplift. The participants will have different strategies for their profits in the two methods. This paper analyzes their equilibrium strategies by using the supply function model and congestion methods.

  • The congestion management is a key task for enhancing the effectiveness of transmission pricing mechanism in a competitive electricity market. In this paper, the zonal method of congestion management is analyzed quantitatively using equilibrium concept, and compared with the nodal pricing method. It is shown that the generation firm uses different strategies in the two methods, and the overall performance of zonal congestion management depends on the determination of zones.

  • The object of this study is structure analysis of vehicle air compressor. Structure analysis is compose to nodal solution and element solution using ANSYS code. Then analysis is partition to head part, cylinder and piston part of vehicle air compressor. Stress and strain results are satisfy to Von Mises yield criterion.

  • Computer algorithms for the loadflow of the DC traction power supply system are examined. Algorithms to solve the nodal equation are reviewed and the two iterative methods to solve the nonlinear nature of the loadflow are analyzed and tested, which are so called conductance matrix method and current vector iterative mettled. The result of the analysis tells that the current vector iterative method makes faster convergency and needs less computing time, and it is verified by the test running of the programs based on each of the iterative methods.

  • A method to analyze the high speed inter-connects that are composed of frequency dependent lossy distributed lines is presented. Network modeling of hybrid systems is implemented by using the modified nodal admittance matrix in the Laplace transformation domain. The network response is computed by different two methods. One method Is the asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) method and other is numerical Laplace inversion method. The merits and demerits of two methods are discussed by applying to several concrete illustrative networks.

  • 본 논문에서는 선형 유한요소법과 동역학적 해석방법을 연계하여 유연 다물체 보의 거동을 해석하였다. 이 방법은 절대 절점 좌표계를 사용하였고, 몇 가지 수치 예제를 해석해 본 논문에서 설명하는 선형 유한 요소법과 동역학적 연계 해석방법의 타당함을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 재귀 부분 구조 합성법을 이용하여 유체와 고체가 연성된 구조물에 대한 거동을 해석하였다. 이 방법은 일반적으로 널리 사용하는 랜쵸스 방법과 비교하여 몇 배나 빠른 계산 결과 시간에 문제를 풀었음에도 거의 동일한 해를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • This paper presents a contains contingency constrained Optimal Power Flow(CCOPF) algorithm. The proposed algorithm maintains the nodal voltage levels within the specified limits after contingency. A case study demonstrate the proposed algorithm with the IEEE-14RTS under N-1 contingency criterion.
