There are 70 vertical and 70 horizontal correctors for Pohang Light Source. Until mid of 2000, power supplies for these correctors were based on 1990's technology, so the global orbit feedback system was not possible with poor 12 bit resolution. A new task force team was assembled to develop new power supplies with BESSY type DAC cards. After the project, two vertical correctors in each lattice were connected with new power supplies, and the global orbit feedback was available within the accuracy of 5 microns. However, this replacement was not enough to satisfy the beam stability requirement of 2 microns for PLS. We have launched another power supply design based on all digital technology. This attempt was completed within a year, and 80 units were assembled in house. Currently, the global orbit feedback system is running successfully with new digital power supplies and the compensation of chamber motion due to the thermal load by using digital displacement transducers attached on each BPMs.

China's "two sessions," namely, the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), has significant meaning to the political life of the nation. It collects opinions and advice from different groups of people annually. "Two sessions" 2013 was especially eye-catching, because new state leaders were elected at the meetings. Using CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) system, the Media and Public Opinion Center of Fudan University (FMORC) conducted surveys of China's "two sessions" every year from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, the influence of new media on public opinion has become increasingly significant. Microblog and WeChat have become two types of important media for Shanghai residents to express their opinions and take part in China's "two sessions." Based on the empirical findings, this paper examines Shanghai Residents' cognition, attitudes and expressions towards "two sessions" 2013 and analyzes how new media affect the public opinions on significant political events.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences of new graduate nurses in personal life and in clinical setting during their first year. Methods: Eleven new graduate nurses were interviewed and the data were analyzed using the Giorgi's phenomenological method. Results: The main results of this research were negative experiences such as poor nursing skills, inability to enjoy personal life, physical exhaustion and health problems, and uncertainty of nursing values. On the other hand, there were some positive aspects on their minds: adjustmental/developmental needs, sense of responsibility, receptive capability, and proficiency with their work. They gradually found themselves being endured and changing to adapt. Conclusion: Transition from students to staff nurses is a very stressful experience for new graduate nurses. It may negatively affect their personal lives as well. However they tried to keep themselves positive to overcome their difficulties. It is necessary for them to be given time, a systematic program, and a supportive environment to adapt.

The Purpose of this study was to develop pattern drafting methods of the hip block and sleeve for female college students of 18 to 26 year-old. The study procedures and results were as follows ; 1. 313 female college students were measured, 17items were analyzed statisitcally. 2. New hip block and sleeve sloper were developed based on the result of the data analysis and fitting tests. 3. The sensory test was applied to evaluate the new hip block and sleeve sloper for female college student by comparing it with Japanese Bunka method sloper. According to statistical analysis of the result of 40items on the questionnaire, all the items showed significant difference($$a{\leq_-}0.01$$) between the two, with the new pattern having higher scores. The new drafting method proved to be better fitted at all 40items, and to be comfortable.

The objective of this project is to get the qualification for participation in any procurement conducted by NYCT by proving Hyundai-Rotem's capability of truck development according to NYCT Pre-Qualification program. The scope of the PQ program is to develop the new fabricated truck from NYCT's old-fashioned casting truck and to operate the new fabricated truck in normal NYCT passenger service during 1 year. In this paper, the characteristics of the new fabricated truck in terms of design, manufacture and tests criteria are mainly introduced comparing with the domestic and European-style trucks.

The purposes of this study were to analyze achievement of the Korea Agricultural Extension Specialist Association and suggest new directions for further development. The Korea Agricultural Extension Specialist Association was organized to develop competencies in specialized field for extension educators in 1996. About 47% of extension educators joined academy during the 5 year period, even though there were many difficulty in organizing extension educators, the Korea Agricultural Extension Specialist Association has achieved to increase independent learning activity, to share new information and improve agent’s competency. New directions for the future development of the Korea Agricultural Extension Specialist Association activities should include the following measures; 1) Academy manages to help member’s competency, 2) Every member of the Association tries to make a concrete goal of activity, 3) The Association members should find ways to enable farmers to remain informed on agricultural extension services to people.

EPTA(English Proficiency Test for Aviation) was not very aviation realistic test before 2019. Testee needed pass listening test first. Then testee could take speaking test. There were 20sets of speaking test. If the testee memorize well, he or she could pass the test easily even though he or she was not very good at English. So the pilot and the authority agreed to change the format of EPTA since 2016. Through development of new EPTA format, the Korea Transportation Safety Authority started new EPTA test since January, 2019. It has been one year since the new format of EPTA started. Now I try to survey satisfaction of new EPTA through questionnaire.

The first RDF production plant in Korea is going to start commercial operation at Won-Ju city in October this year, where municipal solid waste is treated and converted to RBF. Korean government is preparing the quality standard of RDF and starting a new waste policy of RDF promotion instead of general waste treatment technologies such as incineration or landfill. In Europe the EU member states have decided the united quality standard of RDF to increase the amount of new & renewable energy through the promotion of RDF utilization. New quality standard of RDF and trade market of RDF in Europe is introduced in this paper.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the suicide pattern during major holidays which are considered to be in high social integration - New Year's Day, Lunar New Year's Day, Harvest Festival (Chuseok) and Christmas. To confirm suicide patterns, this study hypothesized firstly, the number of suicides would decrease before and on each holiday, and secondly, the number of suicides would increase after each holiday. In detail, this study postulated different patterns by marital status and age groups. Utilizing "Causes of Death Statistics" from 2000 to 2005, the number of suicides by marital status and age group on each day is calculated and categorized by holiday. There are four major findings. First, the decrease in the number of suicides during holiday periods is significant. Second, different suicide patterns by marital status are not found. Third, the difference in suicide patterns by age groups is significant. Specifically, there is a decrease in the number of suicides of the old during Lunar New Year's Day and Harvest Festival (Chuseok). On the other hand, there is no changes in the number of suicides of the young during the same periods. Fourth, a decrease in the number of suicides regardless of marital status and age is found at the end of a year. These results mean that increased social integration is functioned as a "suicide immune system." However, each generation has its own main factor that increases social integration.

As the first step to improve the medical recording for the hospitalized patients, we tried to identify problems of completion rate of the medical recording and made the completion rate of the medical recording within due date known to the public in the hospital and commended the best Department and resident officially. The results were as follows: 1. The average number of the medical recordings per a recorder by years of residency(average number to quorum) was 293.3(398.8) in 1st year, 82.5(68.1) in 2nd year, 21.2(8.3) in 3rd year, and 20.5(1.9) in 4th year-residents. There was only 2 residents who prepared the medical recordings more than the average of 125.6 recordings per a resident. 2. Among 13 Departments, the medical recording was wholly put in charge of the 1st year-resident in 6 Departments. The duty was shared with the 2nd year-resident in 5 Departments and the 3rd year-resident in 1 and the 4th year-resident in Only 1 Department. 3. The more the cases requiring the medical recording, the lower the completion rate(80% less than 100 recordings, 70% in 100-299, 60% in 300-399 and 33.3% in more than 400). 4. There was no difference in the completion rate of the medical recording before(1991) and after(1993) a public nitice(1992). However, 4 Departments showed improvement of 21-45% in the completion rate, and no case was found where billing for medical assurance was postponed due to delayed completion of the medical recording. 5. The completion rate was relatively low(72-78%) from January to March. The main reasons were shortage of men power due to preparation of board examination, attendance to military duty, and lack of training in the medical recording for the new 1st year-residents. 6. The official commendation of the best Department and resident by letters did not improve the completion rate of the medical recording. In conclusion, The main reason of the low completion rate of the medical recording was the fact that the 1st year-residents were almost exclusively responsible for the medical recording. Hence, it is mandotory that this practice gets staffs' attention to improve the completion rate. Public notice of the completion rate of the medical recording shows prompt improvement of the completion rate. Prize money rather than commendation by a letter for the best Department would also be more effective to improve the quality of medical recording.
