  • This paper consider a simple Nondestructive Testing(NDT) having eddy currnt effect. We analyzed the two dimension modeling of alternative magnetic field. eddy current with voltage source. And, the current magnitude and phase data obtained from each different frequency five object position is used for learning the neural network. Therefore, we can recognize an object position pattern from new input current magnitude, phase data.

램파와 압전소자 극성을 사용한 강구조의 실시간 균열손상 감지기법 개발 (Baseline-Free Crack Detection in Steel Structures using Lamb Waves and PZT Polarity)

  • 이 연구에서는 강교량과 같은 토목 구조물에서 유도파의(Guided waves)한 종류인 램파(Lamb wave)를 이용하여 실시간으로 균열손상을 감지할 수 있는 새로운 비파괴 검사방법을 제안한다. 기존의 유도파를 이용한 기술들은, 손상을 감지하기 위해 비손상 상태의 자료를 저장하고 이를 새로이 얻어진 결과와 비교하는 방법을 사용함으로써 잠재적인 손상을 진단해 왔다. 그러나, 공용중인 강구조물은 다양한 하중 뿐 아니라 상시로 변화하는 자연환경에 노출되어 있기 때문에 동일한 비손상 상태의 응답을 얻는 것이 매우 어려우며 이러한 방법을 적용할 경우 오보(false alarm)의 우려도 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 보다 안정적인 손상감지기법을 개발하기 위해 기존에 얻어진 초기치를 이용하지 않으면서 실시간으로 손상 여부를 판단할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이 연구에서 제안된 감지 기술은, 압전소자의 극성과 판파의 특성을 이용하는 것으로 얇은 판의 양면에 부착된 압전소자를 통하여 균열손상에 의한 신호를 선택적으로 감지해 내는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 균열이 발생한 판에서 진행하는 판파는 균열로 인한 판의 두께변화로 인해 모드 변화를 일으키게 되는데, 제안된 감지기법으로 이러한 모드 변화만을 선택적으로 추출할 수 있다. 다양한 수치해석과 실험을 통해 이 연구에서 제안된 손상감지기법의 효율성과 적용성을 입증한다.

  • Pullout test known as Lok test among the test methods to evaluate concrete strength strength is a test method which is used to decide the form removal time by assessing the early strength of concrete in a new construction, or to control the quality of newly placed concrete. This method has inconvenience to place inserts on the form work in advance, however, the placing work is quite simple and it has advantage that the strength can be measured at field as long as the inserts are placed. In this study, the first step is to investigate the properties of test method itself, by performing the laboratory test which covers deviation of the method and factors affecting the results, etc. The second step is to correlate the result with cylinder strength and other NDT methods such as rebound hammer, ultrasonic method, etc. And that, the results are compared with foreign results to find the differences between the two. In this research, new factors such as moisture content, area of aggregate failure cross section and area of aggregate separation cross section, etc as well as wate-cement ratio and age are investigated.

정형물리치료학의 학습모형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Learning Model of Orthopedic Manual Therapy)

  • PURPOSE; The main purpose of this study is to develop a new learning model of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. METHOD; From 1997 to 1999, this survey was made of 318 students who had attended in Orthopedic Manual Therapy subject. RESULT; Results show that regard satisfaction with lecture was as 'good' by 235 person(73.3%). And the most interest subject among the therapists was orthopedic manual therapy(44.63%), next NDT(25.62%). CONCLUSION; This study suggest a new learning model of orthopedic manual therapy used by Role-play model and Coner study model. So we can be lecture effectively to focus students.

The Role of FENDT - Prospect and Retrospect -

  • Being latecomers to the industrialization, Pacific rim countries except the U.S.A. are doing very little in developing the universal certification system. One should note that Asian Pacific region enjoys the highest economic growth rate, and there is a good possibility that it will be the center of economic activities of the world in the next century. It appears that ISO and CEN share similar specifications in numerous areas. ASNT is being changed to cope with the trend with the introduction of ACCP. Although we may have to adopt the new system someday, we should pay attention and make concerted effort to include our own practice in the global standards. We are the countries in the Far East Region with similar culture and tradition, which are quite different from those of western countries. We hope that Japan should play an important role in this matter, who has been chaired the ISO TC135 since 1993. In the beginning of this decade, there has been a trivial but troublesome matter that who is representing the NDT Society or member countries in Asia-Pacific Conference on NDT. The problem appears to be solved since the establishment of FENDT For the next decade, actually next centry, FENDT will have to accomplish another important role for countries in the Far East Region to form a strong coalition for its survival in the western dominant world. Immediate issue is to establish Far East Working Group for Harmonization and Mutual Recognition of Qualification and Certification of NDT Personnel. To realize this Japan must play a leading role with the cooperation of expanded FENDT member countries including China and Russia. As the continued prosperity expected in this region, FENDT should continue its role for the next centry. We, the FENDT countries, must move forward for internationalization(國際化). However' we must realize that it all start from SELF IDENTI-FICATION. We can identify ourselves by actively participating in FENDT. I would like remind you the concluding remark that I have made in the congratulatory speech at JSNDI 40th Anniversary Conference and FENDT'92. JSNDI is too precious to be Japan's sole possession Staling from the Far East, JSNDI shall become one of the loaders of the world. I sincerely hope that JSNDI take initiatives and leaderships in the future activities. of FENDT countries. I would like to close my talk with "We must hang together, or We shall be hang seperately." 자기누설 비파괴 검사 시스템에서 축방향 미소결함 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Axial Cracks in the Magnetic Flux Leakage NDT System)

  • MFL PIG는 배관의 단면적이 변화할 때 발생하는 누설 자기장을 검출하고, 검출 된 누설 자속 신호의 분포 및 크기를 이용하여 배관 내 외벽에 결함의 발생 유무를 검사하는 방법이다. 기존의 MFL PIG는 금속 손실이나 균열, 부식과 같은 결함을 검출하는데 효과적이었으나 배관 내 외부의 압력차로 인하여 발생하는 가로축 방향의 가늘고 긴 미소결함을 검출하기 위하여 원주 방향으로 자기장 누설을 최대화 할 수 있는 CMFL(Circumferencial MFL) PIG의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 자계 해석 기법 및 3차원 비선형 유한요소법을 이용하여 CMFL PIG를 설계하고 배관의 결함 유무에 따른 누설 자계 분포를 분석하였다. 또한 CMFL PIG와 함께 결함 검출 성능 검증을 위한 모의시험 배관과 결함 및 고정 구조물을 제작하고, 이를 이용한 실험으로 누설 자계 신호를 측정하여 결함의 형상변화가 검출 신호에 미치는 영향을 비교 및 검토하였다.

탄성파 기법을 이용한 콘크리트궤도의 구조강성 및 충전상태 평가에 관한 연구 (Evaluation on Structural Stiffness and Grouting Efficiency of Concrete Track using Elastic Wave Tests)

  • 콘크리트궤도는 유지보수상의 장점으로 인하여 자갈궤도를 급속히 대체하고 있다. 반면에 보수보강이 어렵기 때문에 매우 엄격한 설계와 시공기술이 필요하며 이러한 기술을 만족하기 위해서는 평가기술 또한 뒷받침이 되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같이 시공 및 유지보수의 핀 평가기술을 확보하기 위한 방안으로서 탄성파를 이용하는 비파괴조사기법을 다양하게 적용하였다. 사용된 기법은 SASW시험, 임팩트에코시험, 연속임팩트에코시험이다. 시험은 49개의 프리캐스트 판넬의 강성구조와 충진성능을 평가하는 목적으로 총 5,353회에 걸쳐 수행되었다. 적용 결과, 콘크리트재료 자체의 비균질성으로 인하여 탄성파시험의 적용 및 분석이 제한적이지만 본 논문에서 목적하는 슬래브의 강성구조과 충전성(공극)에 대한 신뢰성 있는 조사 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 나타났다.

  • Conventional measurement methods using ultrasonic wave or x-ray, eddy current for non-destructive testing(NDT) in nuclear power plants and other industrial plants have been performed as the method of contact with objects to be inspected. With this reason these methods have been taken relatively much time and the inspected area is limited by the location of probe or film. But holographic interferometry which is a non-contact optical measurement method using a coherent light source has an advantage that the quantitative measurement can be performed at a time. In this paper a new method using holographic interferometry and image processing for detecting internal flaws of pressure vessels is presented.

22.9kV 배전선로 절연전선의 부식 검출 시스템 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Corrosion Detecting System for 22.9 kV Distribution Power Line Insulation Cable)

  • A corrosion detecting system for 22.9 kV distribution power line insulation cable, which can travel autonomously along the live line, is proposed. Eddy current test method is employed to detect the corrosion, and the system developed here is capable of detecting internal corrosion of a ACSR-OC. Somewhat details of the electrical and mechanical mechanism of the system and traveling algorithm are introduced. Experimental results applied to the sample cables having artificial corrosion and the operating distribution lines are provided. From the result, we confirmed that the system is useful for detecting internal corrosion of a ACSR, and is expected to be a new non-destructive testing equipment in the area of diagnosis for the distribution power line.

Segmentation of Welding Defects using Level Set Methods

  • Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a technique used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material without causing damage. In this paper we propose a method for segmenting radiographic images of welding in order to extract the welding defects which may occur during the welding process. We study different methods of level set and choose the model adapted to our application. The methods presented here take the property of local segmentation geodesic active contours and have the ability to change the topology automatically. The computation time is considerably reduced after taking into account a new level set function which eliminates the re-initialization procedure. Satisfactory results are obtained after applying this algorithm both on synthetic and real images.
