Recently, the novel loop-up table(N-LUT) method to solve the tremendous memory problem of the conventional look-up table (LUT) method as well as to increase the generation speed of hologram patterns has been proposed. But, as the resolution of an input 3-D object is enhanced, the number of object points to be calculated for generation of its hologram pattern also increases, which results in a sharp increase of the computation time. Therefore, in this paper, a new approach for fast generation of the hologram pattern of 3-D object images is proposed by using the block redundancy feature of 3-D object images and the N-LUT method. Experimental results show that in the proposed method the number of object points and the overall computation time have been reduced by 43.3 % and 47.9 %, respectively compared to those of the conventional method for the case of the $5{\times}5$ block size. These good experimental results finally confirm the feasibility of the proposed method.

The requirement planning system of Korea military has used top down planning approach after introducing Joint Combat Development System since 2007. But this new system has not been propelled harmoniously because it does not have any connection with the current planning system. Due to current time-exhaustive analysis and assessment process in requirement planning system, it not only delays proper decision making, but also hinders understanding on the problem in a whole perspectiveand finding a reasonable solution to our problem. In this study, we present a methodology which can analyze and assess capability utilizing the weapon score of JICM(Joint Integrated Contingency Model). The process identifies capability gap from a mission-oriented perspective in the requirement planning phase and suggests an appropriate solution to our problem. A Quick Look tool which has been developed using Python Script to implement the methodology is also introduced in this study.

This study analyzes and categorizes the cases of military look's transitional design ideas in recent women's fashion collections, and derives characteristics. The research method is a theoretical review of military look and an analysis of fashion collection cases. The research results were classified into a total of six transformational design ideas. As a structural change in design, it is a decentralized type, a type of expansion and reduction, a change in the entire material, or a transition of some materials, and finally a type according to heterogeneous harmony and organic combination corresponding to styling. Finally, a total of three characteristics are the reconstruction of structural elements, the expansion of the metric of the second mix match, and the emotional fusion of styling. I hope that the study of the transformative type of idea of the new military look will be the driving force for creative design development and will be a basic study that can read the current status and changes of the times throughout fashion design.

The pursuit of freedom by the individual--desire to be liberated from all forms of restrictions-- is one of the defining character-istic of the modern society. As costume is, in part, a product of the spirit of the times, it was only natural that this desire for freedom would find its expression in modern costume as well. Among various forms of restrictions, differentiaton by sex has placed one of the most significant binding influences on individual behavior. From early times, the dichotomous division by sex was incorporated into the disign of costume, and the traditional differestriction of costume by sex imposed a significant restriction on the background,“the modern androhynous look”was born as a by-product of the sexual liberation movement in the second half of the 20th century, based on the concept of the individual as a complete human being rather than as a member exclusively of either the male or the female sex. This paper seeks to examine the androgynous look within a coherent theoretical frame-work, and explore new design possibilities by analyzing and understanding the visual characteristics of the androgynous look. In addition, this paper seeks to define the functional aspects of the androgynous look based on the premise that costume is an embodiment of the spirit of the times. As for research methodology, both theoretical and historical methods are employed. Through a theoretical examination of historical documents, the meaning of the androgynous look is explored from various angles, and order to examine its place in modern fashion, an-drogynous styles are categorized and system atically analyzed. The main findings of the paper can be summarized as follows : 1. Androgyny is a compound word consisting of“andro-”(meaning man) and“gyn-”(meaning woman). In modern times, this word has been associated with the socio-cultural aspect of gender rather than the physical or physiological aspect with the pshchological characteristics of the male and female sexes. Androgynous styles also appear in fashion and general arts such as drama, film, dance, and music. In fashion, the androgynous look, represented by the visual superimposition of “masculine”and “faminine”elements, has emerged as a major element of the 20th-century costume, and has gained broad acceptance among those free spirits wishing to be liberated from the conventional conceptions of male clothing, and the unisex look. 3. The androgynous look in modern fashion reflects the spirit of the 20th century society and culture, and performs various functions as follows : expression of fun, change in gender roles, expression of the inner consciousness, and pursuit of the ideal human type.

In the middle of economic and mental riches in the 21st century, the importance of well being and the pursuit of happiness are emerging as the new trend. Thus the lifestyle that values comfortable and practical naturalness and intrinsic merits has come to influence the human life rather than the old showing-off and formal desire. In addition to this, the spread of the five day week has given more leisure time, which has led to the increasing interest in health and leisure. The interest in sports has skyrocketed since the successful holding of the 2002 Korea and Japan World Cup event. All these changes to the lifestyle have contributed to the fusion of luxury wear and sports wear. As the result of the consumers in the 21st century having more classified and upgraded way of living thanks to the settlement of the above-mentioned lifestyle and the enlargement of the leisure sports culture, there has appeared the wellness kin, who value the importance of life and the nature and believe in the idea that they can reconstruct the environment in the way they can enjoy their lifestyle and pursue happiness. They favor healthy fashion items and think much of exercise, nutrition, and rest. They pursue the natural and comfortable style, whose ideas came from simple exercises such as health training and yoga and the easy and comfortable look observed at resorts. Their fashion style can be divided into three of fitness fashion, yoga fashion and resort fashion. First, the boxer fashion is characterized by the relaxing design and practicality. The major items of the fashion include running shirt-styled upper clothes, training pants, hooded shirts and sneakers. Simple and comfortable look should be induced from the combination of the items. Second, the yoga fashion was motivated by the comfortable yoga wear. It advocates stress-free spirit and comfortable and stable naturalism. Along with the advantages of the good feeling to wear and the functionality to help exercise better, the yoga fashion gives the wearer enough room to move around in, using the unique lines. Third, the resort wear refers to the kinds of clothes you tend to wear at the beach and the park. There are various kinds of the resort look; bathing suits, the beach wear you can wear with the bathing suit, the resort evening wear, the full-side look that you try on top of the bathing suit and is made of the same material of the bathing suit, and the marine look, the symbol of the summer. In short, the study attempted to investigate many trends occurring as the result of human recent increasing interest and concern in the quality of life, and the impacts of them on the fashion world. This kind of research that examines the background of the times and society will help to grasp with the fashion trends of the present and the future. And more studies should be conducted on the development of new and original design in clothes fashion, which reflects the characteristics identified in this kind of research.

This study was intended to probe the scheme for correctly making Korean fashion design known to the world. It is because its suggestion could find out in the current influence of Japanese designer works led to fashion in Europe and the U.S. It can be said that this success was attributed to Japanese high economic growth, increased interests in fashion, increased awareness of the fashion industry, production of designers activity in the world area, systematic and active support of the fashion circles and government for the fashion industry and so on. Korean government has recently begun to attempt to nurture Koreanism or Korean look as world-class fashion. But there are a considerable number of obstacles in making Koreanism or Korean look known to the world due to such several factors as the lack of interests in fashion, the lack of globally active designers, and the like. It is necessary to nurture the fashion industry and educate and train designers for the long-term perspective. In addition, both the government and the fashion circles need to provide for more active and reasonable policy for holding the Korean Fashion Fair, expanding the Seoul Collection to the more global level, opening the way for new designers, and so forth. Furthermore, our academic circles need to make much research on the scheme for the glottalization of Koreanism or Korean look.

This article explores 1940's fashion. Much has been documented about the huge influence Dior's 1947 New Look had on fashionable clothing, as the industry conspired to reinvent itself as an economic and cultural power after World War II. The introduction of highly feminised and luxurious styles reinstated fashion as a viable concern globally and has arguably been recognised as the defining style of the 1940's. During World War II the fashion system of design, manufacture and export within the western world, virtually ceased. Many dress historians (Arnold, 2008; Breward, 1997; Guenther, 2004; McDowell, 1997; Robinson, 1976; Taylor, 1992; Steele, 1998; Veillon, 2002; Walford, 2008; Wilson & Taylor; 1989) have suggested that fashion ideas froze from 1939 to 1947. Deeper research identifies that during this period of style and trend starvation, many diverse and interesting design ideas arose from the restrictions imposed and Veillon (2002, p.145), has suggested that this period instigated what we now identify as Street Style (Polhemus, 2010). This research investigates the diversity of design ideas produced between 1939-1947 in order to establish whether pre or post 1947 can be upheld as the definitive 1940's look, one that influences contemporary fashion designers and one that we identify with as a conclusive style today.

In this paper, we propose a new technique which allows to store the pre-scaling constants directly in a table thus eliminating the cycle for computing pre-scaling constants. Especially we analyzed the range of pre-scalingconstants and rearranged them in a carry-save form using two look-up tables so that the size of the tables can be reduced significantly. The resulting scheme is compared with the previously developed method and shown to be effective with respect to area and time to implement the high-radix divider.

The square-based multiplication using look-up table simplifies the process and speeds-up the operating speed. However, the look-up table size increases exponentially as bit size increases. Recently, Wey and Shieh introduced a noble design of square generator circuit using a folding approach for high-speed performance applications. The design uses the ones complement values of ROM addresses to fold the huge look-up ROM table repeatedly such that a much smaller table can be sufficient to store the squares. We present new folding techniques that do not require a ones complement part, one of three major parts in the Wey and Shiehs method. Also the proposed techniques reduce the bit size of partial sums such that the hardware implementation be simplified and the performance be enhanced.

In this paper we discuss the corelation be-tween feminism and fashion and examine its influnce on mordern fashion. And we also try to infer what the fashion design will be like in the future by understanding the value of modern fashion from a new viewpoint. The Early Feminism which advocated the similarity between man and women held the thought that women could be equal to men only when they behaved in the same way as men did, In 1970s when the pendulum of the Early Feminism movement reached its highest point a manish look began to flourish. The manish look introduced the items once employed only for men such as trench costs tidy tailored suits shirts and ties to women clothes. It has taken root deeply in women's life and is still employed in various ways by many designers. From the late 1970s the pendulum of feminism movement began to swing toward the Essentialist Feminism which emphasized the differences between men and women. It focused not on the negative image of women seen from male-oriented viewpoints but on their positive image and stressed women's sexual characteristic to make distinction between two genders. in fashion the Essentialist Feminism played a role in bringing about a sexy look which stressed the erotic silhouette of woman's body. The latest feminism is the socio-cultural one. It sees the distinction between men and women as sexual discrimination and introduces the androgynous human which carries the characteristic of two sexes. it leads to ambiguity of sex roles and at the same time serves to make androgynous social atmosphere by admitting the coexistence of two genders. The androgynous idea in fashion is expressed as a new trend which crosses men and women's own beauty while keeping their own identity intact. As we have briefly reviewed feminism in fashion has been presented in various ways with regard to expressing the nature of men and women. And it has continuously indicated the ultimate message of the salvation of mankind such as the respect for humanity and recovery of humanism.
