홉필드 네트워크와 퍼지 Max-Min 신경망을 이용한 손상된 교통 표지판 인식 (Damaged Traffic Sign Recognition using Hopfield Networks and Fuzzy Max-Min Neural Network)

  • 현재 교통 표지판 인식 기법들은 다양한 날씨, 빛의 변화 등과 같은 외부환경 뿐만 아니라 교통 표지판이 일부 훼손된 경우에는 인식 성능이 저하되는 경우가 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 홉필드 네트워크와 퍼지 Max-Min 신경망을 이용하여 손상된 교통 표지판의 인식 성능을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 손상된 교통 표지판에서 특징들을 분석한 후, 그 특징들을 학습 패턴으로 구성하여 퍼지 Max-Min 신경망에 적용하여 1차적으로 교통 표지판의 특징을 분류한다. 1차적 분류된 특징이 있는 학습 영상들을 홉필드 네트워크에 적용하여 손상된 특징을 복원한다. 홉필드 네트워크를 적용하여 복원된 교통 표지판의 특징들을 다시 퍼지 Max-Min 신경망에 적용하여 최종적으로 손상된 교통 표지판을 분류하고 인식한다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 손상된 정도가 다른 다양한 교통 표지판 8개를 적용하여 실험한 결과, 제안된 방법이 퍼지 Max-Min 신경망에 비해 평균적으로 38.76%의 분류 성능이 개선되었다.

  • Social network service(SNS), provided by social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Cyworld is rapidly growing in online business. Furthermore, many companies have growing interests in finding effective ways to use SNSs for their innovations, marketing and advertisement. In fact, firms have recognized the utility value of the SNS for their business. In this aspect, this study attempts to identify key factors influencing the intention to continuous use of SNSs. Based on the UTAUT(the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Usage of Technology)model, this study proposes the research model, including the effects of social network service characteristics(social relationship support, information sharing, image expression) and individual characteristics(self-disclosure, extroversion, familiarity) on performance expectancy as well as the moderating effect of perceived information security among UTAUT variables. The 412T sets of data collected in a survey were tested against the modeling using SEM using SmartPLS. Results indicated that social network service and individual characteristics had significant effect on performance expectancy with exception of self-disclosure. In addition, the moderating effect of perceived information security had significant effect. The results had important implications for firms providing SNSs hoping to develop a successful business model.

  • 본 연구는 G. 레이코프와 M. 존슨이 제시한 '개념적 은유'를 적용해 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 은유적 특성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 일방향적 소통만 가능했던 기존 매체와는 달리, 사용자가 참여적으로 자신의 일상을 표현하고 타인의 서사를 해석하는 과정을 통해서 그 텍스트를 확장한다. 기존 매체에서 수동적이던 독자가, SNS에서 적극적인 발화자로 전환될 수 있었던 가장 큰 이유는 SNS에 내재된 은유적 속성 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SNS 사용자 텍스트의 생성 및 해석 과정을 '근원영역'과 '목표영역'을 중심으로 고찰했다. 이후 은유적 속성을 통해 나타난 사용자 텍스트의 생성구조를 폴 리쾨르의 삼중 미메시스를 통해 증명했다. SNS를 환유로 전제했던 기존의 연구 관점과 달리, 본 연구는 SNS의 은유적 특성 및 의미를 제시했다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

LTE-R의 도시철도 터널 환경 적용성 분석 (Analysis on Applicability of LTE-R in Urban Railway Tunnel Environment)

  • Unlike commercial LTE network, LTE-R railway network is arranged along a railroad track and the base stations of the network (RUs) are also installed on the waysides. For urban railway systems that are composed of underground tunnels, the leakage coaxial cables are widely used due to the radio propagation characteristics in tunnels. In theory, the tunnel sections are interpreted as the waveguide with blank spaces and for this reason, the tunnel sections are expected to be better than open ground sections in terms of the radio propagation characteristics. In this paper, we analyze the radio propagation characteristics based on this theory by replacing the leakage coaxial cables in the network with Yagi antennas. The test has been carried out in the 2.2km tunnel in the Daebul test track of KORAIL with 2.6GHz LTE-R Network. The LTE-R applicability in urban railways has been tested through the analysis on the radio propagation characteristics with the unmanned train operation system in Daebul tunnel.

  • This study is to find out how psychological characteristics and management capabilities of small manufacturers influence business performance through parameters including self-efficiency, network, and collaboration strategies. The survey was implemented between December 26, 2017 and January 15, 2018. The final 439 valid questionnaires were collected and used for analysis. The results were followed. First, the relationship between psychological characteristics and self-efficiency, and the path coefficient for psychological characteristics and network were significant. Second, management capabilities was related to self-efficiency, and the path factor for managing capability and network relationships was significant. Lastly, the path coefficients for self-efficiency and collaboration strategies were not significant, and the path coefficients for network and collaboration strategies were significant.

  • Inverse Chebyshev function can realize the same order of Chebyshev function nuder the same specification. In general, inverse Chebyshev function has the preferable characteristics in terms of the delay characteristics and the time-domain performances compare with Chebyshev function. However, for the even order n, inverse Chebyshev function does not realize in the doubly-terminated ladder network which has preferable sensitivity characteristics because of the finite value at ${\omega}={\infty}$. In this paper, the modified inverse Chebyshev function with $\mid$H($j^{\infty}$$\mid$=0 s proposed to realize the passive doubly-terminated ladder network for the n even or odd. The modified inverse Chebyshev function characteristics ars studied in the frequency and time domain, and then, realize the passive doubly-terminated ladder network.

  • The Voronoi network can be used to effectively simulate the microstructure of ZnO varistors. The nonuniformity in microstructure of simulated ZnO varistor can be changed by setting different disorder degree of Voronoi network. In the region of disorder degree larger than 3 where the simulated microstructures are similar to those the actual ones of ZnO varistors, a chaotic phenomenon exists in the microstructure characteristics. This chaotic property can simulate the original behavior of nonuniformity of electrical characteristics caused by microstructures of ZnO varistors.

  • Today's social networking services have tens of millions of users, and are growing fast. Their sheer size poses a significant challenge in capturing and analyzing their topological characteristics. Snowball sampling is a popular method to crawl and sample network topologies, but requires a high sampling ratio for accurate estimation of certain metrics. In this work, we evaluate how close topological characteristics of snowball sampled networks are to the complete network. Instead of using a synthetically generated topology, we use the complete topology of Cyworld ilchon network. The goal of this work is to determine sampling ratios for accurate estimation of key topological characteristics, such as the degree distribution, the degree correlation, the assortativity, and the clustering coefficient.

  • This paper investigates the ventilation characteristics in a two-dimensional underground network junction composed of four main lines interconnected by eight ramps. Simple one-dimensional models cannot be applied to network junctions since there are interferences of traffic piston effects in the main lines and at the ramps. A numerical algorithm was developed to analyze the pressure and airflow distributions iteratively. The Darcy-Weisbach equation was used to calculate the piston effects by traffic flows, and a Hardy Cross iteration was conducted for network analysis at the interconnected junction. The results show interesting ventilation characteristics and CO concentration distributions depending on system parameters such as vehicle speed, tunnel diameter, and other junction configurations.
