  • This study is designed to analyze the effects of demographic factors on children's wear brand preference and their reasons, and brand evaluations. A total of 355 usable data was collected from housewives in three metropolitan cities (Seoul, Daejeon, and Sungnam) in Korea. An ANOVA and crossing analysis were used to determine the strength(percentage) among several dependent variables. Also, regression analysis was used to examine the effects of demographic factors on each factor and component related to fashion brand evaluation. Overall, ANOVA and crossing analysis results showed that the visual attributions (variables) of clothing marked significantly higher scores than others (functional attributions). This result is noteworthy because it is opposite of common stereotypes and prejudices that selectors who first recognize visual information (aesthetic attributions) as a clothing buying criteria should be unsatisfied with them after wearing. Therefore, this research suggests that the chief reason in determining the outcome of success or failure in fashion industry depends on their trend productions with fashion image creation by reflecting the exclusive trends based on consumer's taste and wants.

Through analyzing the external characteristics and the internal characteristics of illustration, this study will give suggestions on ways to apply the examples to real design. Illustration in external characteristics is investigated as a case of applying it directly to fashion design and to fashion marketing. Most of the fashion items were printed or weaved and most of the bags, shoes, and accessories were printed on the cover, attached as a patch, and expressed three-dimensionally. Illustration in internal characteristics is investigated as fixing and expansion of brand image, improving artistic and emotional value of brand, vitalization of masstige items, and cultural support and expression of social responsibility. The three themes used to develop the illustrations of "Hello ZIBI", which was used in this study, were "Graphic", "Forest" and "Flower", and these were based on modified brand symbol. Casual brands grafted fashion item designs onto T-shirts, bags, hats, and scarves. Marketing items were designed as shopping bags that could reflect brand image, as well as other items, such as key holders, mug cups, and tumblers, with designs that targeted specific age groups.

  • The domestic fashion industry of the middle and late 20th century emphasized the importance of a standardized design process; however, the values of differentiated brand individuality have become increasingly important with the qualitative·quantitative growth of designer brands. Therefore, paying attention to designer individuality (or a differentiated element of a designer brand growing up in the domestic fashion industry) this study reestablished factors of the designer brand individuality. An in-depth interview was conducted with 13 designers and consumers for empirical analysis. In order to identify concepts of designer individuality based on the theory of the brand personality by Aaker along with precedent studies, the study devised a theoretical frame to explain a conceptual structure of designer brand individuality as well as reestablish its factors as the designer individuality, design and non-design factors through empirical research. Empirical research derived the designer individuality factors as an external designer image, designer taste, design philosophy and designer personality. Design factors were derived as concept, working process and method, style and formativeness. Non-design factors were also extracted as wearing experience, wearer image, lookbook image, fashion shows and exhibitions. It is meaningful that little empirical research has been conducted on domestic fashion designers who actually run designer brands and that this study helped understand designer brands through a new approach called designer individuality.

The methodology involves a comprehensive review of existing literature on character marketing, brand awareness, and consumer purchase intention, supplemented by case studies of successful character collaborations in the F&B sector. These collaborations not only rekindle nostalgia but also introduce new and exciting consumer experiences, effectively attracting a wide demographic. The success of character-themed products, from Pokémon bread to Coca-Cola's League of Legends collaboration, underscores the strategy's effectiveness in boosting brand recognition and consumer engagement. The implications of this research are manifold for the F&B industry. Firstly, it highlights the importance of leveraging popular characters to forge emotional connections with consumers. Secondly, it suggests that product development should closely align with consumer preferences and market trends to maximize appeal. • When enjoying sports activities with friends or others, sportswear has symbolic meanings to express and expect self-concept. Sports players sometimes have trouble when they feel embarrassed by their low skills or care about other people too much. Therefore, researchers tried to find out which feature of sports players affects dependence on brand sportswear along with the effect of wearing conspicuous sportswear on wearer when sports players have a conflict based on Solomon's symbolic interactionism. We proposed that role knowledge and attention to social comparison information (ATSCI) influenced people to depend on and use brand sportswear that influences a reflexive evaluation. Finally, we suggested that a changed self-concept would exert influence commitment to sports. A quantitative study was conducted employing an online survey of 121 people by convenient sampling. In this process, Google Docs was to create the online survey and to collect responses by participants. In data processing, via SPSS 21.0 version for Windows, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, ANOVA, t-test, discriminant and regression analysis were conducted to study the relationship between variables. The finding provided evidence that low role knowledge and high ATSCI create high dependence on brand sportswear and influence people to buy sportswear. When people bought and wore a brand sportswear, they evaluated themselves as professional sports players who were more committed to sports. This study confirmed that brand sportswear was useful for sport players to change self-evaluation and enjoy sports.
