  • Military technology transition is the process of transition from the science and technology environment to systems to supply effective weapon systems and support systems to the fighters. In case of technology transition decision, immatured technologies result in increasing acquisition cost and delaying schedule toward the objective system. In this paper, we proposed a method to identify and select critical technology elements by integration relations between technologies or components, for supporting technology transition and risk management of military R&D projects.

  • The (S $r_{1-x}$C $a_{x}$)Ti $O_3$(SCT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode(Pt/TiN/ $SiO_2$/ Si) using RF sputtering method with substitutional contents of Ca. The maximum grain of thin films is obtained by substitution of Ca at 15[mol%]. The dielectric constant was increased with increasing the substitutional contents of Ca, while it was decreased if the substitutional contents of Ca exceeded over 15[mo1%]. The dielectric constant changes almost linearly in temperature ranges of -80~ +90[$^{\circ}C$]. The temperature properties of the dielectric loss have a stable value within 0.02 independent of the substitutional contents of Ca. All SCT thin films used in this study show the phenomena of dielectric relaxation with the increase of frequency, and the relaxation frequency is observed above 200(kHz).)..

  • In this work $Cd_4GeS_6:Co^{2+}$(0.5mole%) single crystals were grown by the chemical transporting reactiov(CTR) method using high purity(6N) elements. The grown single crystals crystallized in a monoclinic structure(space group Cc). The direct optical energy gap of this single crystals was found to be 2.445eV at 300K and the temperature dependence of optical energy gap was fitted well to Varshni equation. But at temperatures lower than 70K an anomalous temperature dependence of the optical energy gap was obtained. This anomalous temperature dependence accored well with the anomalous temperature dependence of the unit cell volume. Also, the entropy, enthalpy and heat capacity were deduced from the temperature dependence of optical energy gaps.

  • In general, we apply the 2 dimensional method to analyze the characteristic of electric machinery. But it is very difficult to analyze the air-cored machine like as superconducting generator, because it have 3 dimensional flux distribution. In this paper, we compare the analysis r between 2D and 3D. 3D Finite Element Meth applied to the superconducting generator at n condition. And we studied the characteristic acc to the axial length of magnetic shield.

  • In this paper, a robust control scheme for a class of SISO nonlinear dynamical system is proposed by using output-feedback linearization method. The presented control scheme is based on the VSS control theory concept. In this control scheme, we assume that the nonlinear dynamical system is minimum phase, i.e., the relative degree of the system is r < n and zero dynamics is stable. We also assume that the states of zero dynamics are not accessible. It is shown that the global asymptotically stability is guaranted under the proposed control scheme. The feasibility of the proposed control scheme is verified through a computer simulation.

  • By utilizing singular value decomposition (SVD) and shift averaged Harr wavelet transform (WT) with a set of Daubechies wavelet coefficients (1/2, -1/2), a method that can simultaneously eliminate an unwanted large solvent peak and noise peaks from NMR data has been developed. Noise elimination was accomplished by shift-averaging the time domain NMR data after a large solvent peak was suppressed by SVD. The algorithms took advantage of the WT, giving excellent results for the noise elimination in the Gaussian type NMR spectral lines of NMR data pretreated with SVD, providing superb results in the adjustment of phase and magnitude of the spectrum. SVD and shift averaged Haar wavelet methods were quantitatively evaluated in terms of threshold values and signal to noise (S/N) ratio values.

  • This paper reports on an ongoing study investigating the feasibility of using an evolutionary method to develop the rules governing Self-Organised (SO) systems for use in swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles. In general, it is difficult to design swarm systems that follow explicit global behaviour. Unlike optimising a predefined objective function, the solution to the problem is the emergent behaviour in the SO systems which results from simultaneous interactions among agents and between agents and their environment. In this study, evolutionary algorithms are used to investigate their control and effectiveness in synthesising the weighting of different rules on SO emergent behaviour. Both homogeneous swarms and heterogeneous swarms were considered though the results provided are for a case study investigating the simplest problem a homogeneous swarm without mutation. Though simple this study does indicate the potential of the approach.

  • A new adaptive dual reciprocity boundary element method for dynamic analysis of 3-D structures is presented in this paper. It is based on finding the best approximation function of a radial basis function (RBF) group $f=r^n+c$ which minimize the error of displacement field expansion. Also, the effects of some parameters such as the existence of internal points, number of RBF functions and position of collocation nodes in discontinuous elements are investigated in this adaptive procedure. Three numerical examples show improvement in dynamic response of structures with adaptive RBF in dual reciprocity with respect to ordinary BEM.

According this study is to show inventory provision system for deciding the safety inventory level as the better rational method. Bibliography for this study is limited to only three kinds of seven brakes-shoe which is produced by T workshop in Korean National Railroad. To reduce the holding cost coming from the want of the stock and shortage cost of the stock expected. This study is to present a ratio of shortage on the stock permitted for the last definite period and the demand result forecast per month.

  • An efficient and alternative synthesis of enantiomerically pure (+)-(S)-4-(4-((4-chlorophenyl)(pyrid-2-yl)methoxy]piperidin-1-yl)butanoic acid, bepotastine (1) is described. The key resolution of (R/S)-bepotastine l-menthyl ester (3) is achived via diastereomeric salt crystallization using N-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-aspartic acid (NCbzLAA) as the resolving agent to provide (S)-bepotastine l-menthyl ester (S)-3. Hydrolysis of (S)-bepotastine l-menthyl ester (S)-3 afforded the desired bepotastine (1) with good yields and enantiopurity (> 99%). Finally, bepotastine besilate (4) and bepotastine calcium (5) are achived by salt formation of bepotastine (1) with benzene sulfonic acid and calcium salt respectively. The reaction conditions were optimized to make suitable for commercial scale production.
