Deposition of Poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) by Vapor Deposition and Patterning Using Self-Assembled Monolayers (Oxide 표면에 Self-Assembly Monolayers를 이용한 전도성 고분자 Poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) 증착 및 Patterning 연구)

  • Vapor phase polymerization of a conductive polymer on a $SiO_2$ surface can offer an easy and convenient means to depositing pure and conductive polymer thin films. However, the vapor phase deposition is generally associated with very poor adhesion as well as difficulty when patterning the polymer thin film onto an oxide dielectric substrate. For a significant improvement of the patternability and adhesion of Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) thin film to a $SiO_2$ surface, the substrate was pre-patterned with n-octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) molecules using a ${\mu}$-contact printing method. The negative patterns were then backfilled with each of three amino-functionalized silane self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of (3-aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APS), N-(2-aminoethyl)-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (EDA), and (3- trimethoxysilylpropyl)diethylenetriamine (DET). The quality and electrical properties of the patterned P3HT thin films were investigated with optical and atomic force microscopy and a four-point probe. The results exhibited excellent selective deposition and significantly improved adhesion of P3HT films to a $SiO_2$ surface. In addition, the conductivity of polymeric thin films was relatively high (${\sim}13.51\;S/cm$).

An Experimental Study on Depositional Parameters of Cohesive Sediments in Semi-closed Bay (준 폐만 점착성 퇴적물의 퇴적매개변수 산정에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, a series of deposition tests have been performed using an annular flume and depositional parameters of natural cohesive sediments have been estimated domestically for the first time. The natural cohesive sediments for deposition tests have been collected from Kwangyang Bay and total 18 deposition tests have been carried out on different bed shear stress respectively but with the same initial concentration. Test results for natural cohesive sediments of Kwangyang bay show that minimum bed shear stress ${\tau}_{bmin}$, standard deviation ${\sigma}_1$, and time scale parameter $({\tau}_b^*-1)_{50}$ are $0.11N/m^2$, 0.68 and 0.85, respectively. Through the comparison with results of previous studies for other sediments, the results of this study are shown to be good enough to verify.

Hydrogen Effect on Deposition Rate of Aluminum Thin Films from Chemical Vapor Deposition Using Dimethylethylamine Alane (DMEAA를 사용해 CVD법으로 증착한 알루미늄 박막의 증착속도에 관한 수소 효과)

  • The deposition rate and surface morphology of Al films deposited by MOCVD have been studied on the $SiO_{2}$ and TiN(60nm/Si) substrates. A1 films were deposited with the pyrolysis of dimethylethylamine alane(DMEAA). When A1 was deposited on Ti& substrate without carrier gas, Al deposition rate increased with H\ulcorner pre- treatment. The $H_2$ gas enhances the CVD reaction at the substrate surface. When Al was deposited on $SiO_{2}$ substrate, $H_2$ plasma pretreatment reduced Al incubation time and made a dense Al film compared with Ar plasma pre- treatment or no pretreatment.

An Experimental Study on Depositional Properties of Cohesive Sediments in Masan Port (마산항 점착성 퇴적물의 퇴적특성에 대한 실험적 연구)

The sediment of Masan Port has been collected for deposition tests, and total 18 deposition tests have been carried out on different bed shear stress respectively but with the same initial concentration. As the results, the minimum bed shear stress ${\tau}_{bmin}$, standard deviation ${\sigma}1$ and time scale parameter $({\tau}_b^*-1)_{50}$ are found to be $0.10N/m^2$, 0.54 and 0.87 respectively. Through comparing with results from previous studies for other sediments, the results of this study are shown to be good enough to verify.
