포화현상을 고려한 슬라이딩 모드제어기의 최대제어력 산정 (Maximum Control Force for Sliding Mode Controller with Saturation Problem)

  • 제어효과가 탁월한 능동제어알고리듬의 하나인 슬라이딩 모드제어(SMC)는 지진력을 받는 구조물의 제어를 위해 매우 큰 크기의 제어력을 요구한다. 따라서, SMC의 설계에 있어 제어기의 포화문제는 반드시 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문은 설계응답스펙트럼에 따른 구조율의 복원력을 이용하여 제어기의 최대 제어력을 결정하는 방법을 제안한다. 한 개 혹은 다수의 제어장치를 설치한 다층건물의 수치해석 결과는 제안된 방법이 지진하중을 받는 구조물의 포화 슬라이딩모드제어에 유효함을 보며준다.

PPF 제어기법을 이용한 다중 모드 강제 진동의 능동 진동 제어 (Active Vibration Control of Multi-Mode Forced Vibration Using PPF Control Technique)

  • This paper presents active vibration control scheme of multi-mode forced vibration using piezocetamic sensors and actuators. The control scheme adopted is the Positive Position Feedback (PPF) control. Among various vibration control techniques. PPF control technique makes use of generalized displacement measurements to accomplish the vibration suppression. Two independent controllers are implemented to control the first and the second modes of the beam under external excitation. Experimental results for various damping ratios and feedback gains of the PPF controllers are compared with respect to the contorl efficiency. The results indicate that steady state vibration under wide band excitation can be controlled effectively when multiple sets of PZT sensors and actuators were used with PPF control technique.

  • There has been a recent surge of research interest on the smart structure. This paper presents active vibration control scheme of multi-mode forced vibration using piezoceramic sensors/actuators. The control scheme adopted is the Positive Position Feedback control.   • Multiple output converters (MOCs) are widely used for applications which require various levels of the output voltages due to their benefits in cost, volume, and efficiency. However, most of the MOCs developed so far can regulate only one output tightly and require as many secondary windings in the transformer as the number of the outputs. In this paper, a novel Time Division Multiple Control (TDMC) method to regulate all the outputs in high precision is proposed and applied for the multiple output battery charger based on the phase shift full bridge topology to charge a multiple number of batteries at one time. The proposed converter can charge three different kinds of batteries or same kind of batteries in different state of charges (SOCs) by using constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) charge mode independently. At the same time it can provide an even degree of tight regulation for each output to satisfy the strict ripple requirement of the battery. The validity and feasibility of the proposed method are verified through the experiments.

부모의 리더십과 언어통제유형이 유아의 리더십에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Parental Leadership and Verbal Control Modes on Preschool Children's Leadership)

  • This study examines the effects of parental leadership and verbal control modes on preschool children's leadership. The sample included 202 children between the ages of 4 and 5 and their mothers, and data were collected using an index of parental leadership, an index of parental verbal control, and an inventory of preschool children's leadership. A statistical analysis was conducted using a t-test, a correlation analysis, and a multiple regression analysis. According to the results, there were significant differences in preschool children's leadership according to the child's age. According to a correlation analysis, parental leadership and verbal person-oriented control modes had significant positive correlations with preschool children's leadership, and imperative control and position-oriented control modes had negative correlations. In addition, parental leadership and verbal control modes were significant predictors of preschool children's leadership. In particular, parents' communication skill, relationship skill, group activity skill, person-oriented control mode, and position-oriented control mode were significant predictors of preschool children's leadership.

  • This paper presents a current-mode multiple-input minimum circuit. The proposed circuit can be implemented by applying De Morgan’s law. The circuit diagram is simple and modular. It operates using a single 2.5V supply and has very low dissipation. The realization method is suitable for fabrication using CMOS technology and all transistors are operated in their saturation region. The performances of this proposed circuit were studied using the PSPICE analog simulation program. The simulation results show the approval of this circuit that it has adequate basic performances for a real-time fuzzy controller and a fuzzy computer.

  • This paper presents a new shape design method for the multi-mode sensor that can detect selected multiple modes for the active vibration control of mechanical structures. The structure used for this study is an isotropic cantilever beam type with a PVDF(polyvinylidene fluoride) which is bonded onto the structure as a sensor. Characteristic behaviors of the sensor are related with the electrode shapes of PVDF. The shape optimization problem is solved by defining a new multi-objective function and using the genetic algorithm. Resulting electrode shape functions have good performances to detect the multiple vibration modes. The results of analytical simulations are compared with those of experiment works. The results agree well each other. Hence, the obtained experimental results give evidence for the validity of the presented theoretical analysis of the electrode shape design problem.

  • This paper presents the realization of a multiple-input maximum circuit, which is operated in a current-mode. The proposed circuit operates with bi-directional input current signal and employs 5n+4 transistors for n inputs. The realization method is suitable for fabrication using CMOS technology. The proposed circuit is useful building block for the real-time systems. The performances of the proposed bi-directional maximum circuit were studied using the PSPICE analog simulation program. The simulation results verified the circuit performances are agreed with the expected values.

Improvement of Biological Control against Bacterial Wilt by the Combination of Biocontrol Agents with Different Mechanisms of Action

  • Despite the increased interests in biological control of soilborne diesease for environmental protection, biological control of bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum have not provided consistent or satisfying results. To enhance the control efficacy and reducing the inconsistency and variability, combinations of specific strains of microorganisms, each having a specific mechanism of control, were applied in this study. More than 30 microorganisms able to reduce the activity of pathogen by specific mechanism of action were identified and tested for their disease suppressive effects. After in vitro compatibility examinations, 21 individual strains and 15 combinations were tested in the greenhouse. Results indicated three-way combinations of different mode of control, TS3-7+A253-16+SKU78 and TS1-5+A100-1+SKU78, enhanced disease suppression by 70%, as compared to 30-50% reduction for their individual treatments. This work suggests that combining multiple traits antagonizing the pathogen improve efficacy of the biocontrol agents against Ralstonia solanacearum.

  • This paper proposes an expert system with the knowledge learning capability which can enhance the safety and effectiveness of substation operation in the automated substation as well as existing substation by inferring multiple events such as main transformer fault, busbar fault and main transformer work schedule under multiple inference mode and multiple objective mode and by considering totally the switch status and the main transformer operating constraints. Especially inference mode includes the local minimum tree search method and pattern recognition method to enhance the performance of real-time bus reconfiguration strategy. The inference engine of the expert system consists of intuitive inferencing part and logical inferencing part. The intuitive inferencing part offers the control strategy corresponding to the event which is most similar to the real event by searching based on a minimum distance classification method of pattern recognition methods. On the other hand, logical inferencing part makes real-time control strategy using real-time mode(best-first search method) when the intuitive inferencing is failed. Also, it builds up a knowledge base or appends a new knowledge to the knowledge base using pattern learning function. The expert system has main transformer fault, main transformer maintenance work and bus fault processing function. It is implemented as computer language, Visual C++ which has a dynamic programming function for implementing of inference engine and a MFC function for implementing of MMI. Finally, it's accuracy and effectiveness is proved by several event simulation works for a typical substation.
