Recent intervention studies document that mother-child dyads with higher levels of Emotional Availability (EA) report fewer child behavior problems than dyads with lower EA. This study examines possible mechanisms that lead to this result by looking at the parent-child micro-system as a whole, with multi-dimensional relationships that include individual differences in the child's cognitive level, parental stress and parent-child interaction. A total 67 children ($1{\frac{1}{2}}$ to $5\;{\frac{1}{2}}$ years of age) and their mothers were videotaped during 30-min play interactions. Interactions were coded using the Emotional Availability (EA) Scales (Biringen, Robinson, & Emde, 1998). Mothers completed Parenting Stress Index-Short Form, Child Behavior Checklist/$1\;{\frac{1}{2}}$ - 5, and the Ages Stages Questionnaire. The findings showed that mothers with higher levels of parenting stress were more likely to be intrusive, hostile, insensitive, and had a tendency to do less structuring in play. The children of stressed and depressed mothers demonstrated less involvement and responsiveness towards their mothers. Children who have higher dyadic EA scores experienced fewer externalizing and internalizing problems. SEM analyses results showed a mediation effect of EA on the association between maternal psychological well-being and child behavior problems. Fewer deficits in child communication skills and problem solving skills that were related with lower parenting stress and depression were associated with higher maternal non-intrusiveness. Higher non-intrusiveness was related to less internalizing and externalizing problems that indicated the indirect effect of child cognitive competence. Possible interpretations and implications of the study findings are discussed.

Advances in e-commerce enable consumers to shop efficiently for fashion products in global markets in addition, the market size of purchasing directly from foreign websites are also increasing. This study investigates the effects of hedonic and utilitarian shopping values on the continuous use intention of online cross-border shopping. Curiosity and self-efficacy were introduced as mediating variables between shopping values and user intentions. A web-based survey is conducted on female consumers, who have experiences to buy fashion products by online cross-border shopping. A total of 472 responses were collected from a panel of online survey firms. Data are analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, and multi-group SEM by AMOS 21.0. According to the results of the structural equation model test, hedonic value affected continuous use intention of online cross-border shopping as mediated by curiosity and self-efficacy; in addition, utilitarian value influenced self-efficacy, which mediated relations between the utilitarian value and the continuous use intention. The research model was also tested to compare heavy users and light users of online cross-border shopping. For heavy users, the effect of hedonic value on curiosity was significantly stronger than for light users. Several implications are suggested based on the results.

The purpose of this study was to explore predictors of positive changes in children with divorced parents and to demonstrate the structural path among the perceived experience of social discrimination, parenting difficulties, parent-child communication, and internet use of children that related to positive changes based on family incomes. The subjects for this study were 1,114 single parents from divorced families sourced from a study on the status of single-parent families in 2015. The results of this study by using the structural equation model of the moderating effect verification with family incomes and multi group analysis are as follows. First, single-parent's perceived experience of social discrimination turned had a significant positive effect on parenting difficulties( =.354) and children's internet use ( =.234). Single-parent's perceived parenting difficulties also had a significant positive effect on children's internet use ( =.440) but a significant negative effect on both parent-child communication( =.192) and positive changes of children( =.218). Interestingly, internet use of children demonstrated a significant negative effect on their positive changes. Second, parent-child communication, parenting difficulties, and children's internet use had a negative mediating effect with the relationship where single-parent's perceived experience of social discrimination had an effect on positive changes of children( =.167). Second, between the family groups based on family incomes, there was no statistically significant difference in the structural relationship. Based on these results, this study presented a practical proposal to help single parents not experience social discrimination and to help decrease the internet use of children to improve positive changes.
The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of the employee metacognition and it's positive effect on employee agility. Also it aims to investigate the mechanism through the cascading multi-mediating effect through the role breadth self-efficacy and learning agility in such a relationship. In order to solve the common-method bias, independent and dependent variables were measured with time lag, and the relationship between variables was clearly verified by applying the position and the length of time worked with the supervisor as control variables. In testing the hypothesis, 478 questionnaires collected from whom worked at the company has more than 300 office workers in various industries were analyzed. As the result, firstly metacognition had a significant positive(+) effect on employee agility. Second, role breadth self-efficacy was found to positively mediate the relationship between metacognition and employee agility. Third, learning agility was found to mediate metacognition and employee agility positively(+). Fourth, metacognition serially mediates role breadth self-efficacy and learning agility, and the positive(+) effect on employee agility was verified. In addition, metacognition had a greater effect on member agility when passing through role breadth self-efficacy and learning agility rather than the direct effect on employee agility.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of professional soldiers' family healthiness on the organizational effectiveness of the military and test for any differences in the structural modeling path caused by the mediating effects of empowerment depending on whether they lived with their families or not. Data were collected with a self-administered survey distributed to 480 professional soldiers after the approval of the Ministry of National Defense. The data collected were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling, and multi-group analysis. The analysis results show that the family healthiness of all of the professional soldiers had direct or indirect effects on their organizational effectiveness via empowerment and that family healthiness was a variable with a very large explanatory power for organizational effectiveness. Both family healthiness and empowerment had effects on the organizational effectiveness of the solders that were living with their families and those who lived separately from their families. The levels of family healthiness, empowerment, and organizational effectiveness were all high among the professional soldiers that were living with their families and all low among those who were not. Increasing the family healthiness and empowerment was found to enhance the organizational effectiveness in all of the models, and a higher organizational effectiveness would be expected from professional soldiers living with their families. These findings led to a proposal that various plans should be prepared to help professional soldiers live with their families and provide them with family welfare support.
The concentration of local businesses in the capital region promotes a decrease in the local population and polarization between the capital region and non-capital regions. It affects the competitiveness of local industries and creates a vicious cycle throughout the local economy, society and culture. Therefore, this study classified the companies in the capital region and non-capital regions by group and examined the effect of the innovation capability factors of companies on the creation of business performance. We analyzed the effects of R&D capabilities, which are elements of innovation capability, and open innovation and convergence capabilities on business performance. Smart PLS 3.0 was used for analysis including direct and indirect mediating and moderating effects, multi-group analysis, and structural equation model analysis. As a result, R&D capability did not have a significant effect on business performance, but it has a positive influence towards business performance through convergence capability and open innovation. However, the effectiveness of open innovation in non-capital regions and convergence capabilities in capital region were not statistically significant. In particular, in terms of open innovation, as the difference between groups is statistically clear, follow-up measures are suggested especially in non-capital regions.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among child abuse, depression, and smartphone addiction by gender. Data were gathered though questionnaires surveying 1,601 adolescents living in the Seoul and Kyeonggi areas. The results of t-tests and multiple regression analyses using structural equation modeling are as follow. First, approximately 40 percent of adolescents reported having experienced child abuse in the past year. Second, 24.5 percent of adolescents were found to be at risk of smartphone addiction. Third, child abuse was associated with depression and smartphone addiction among adolescents, and depression was found to have a mediating effect on the relationship between child abuse and smartphone addiction. Lastly, gender differences were also found: for male students, child abuse was directly related to smartphone addiction; for female adolescents, depression was found to mediate the relationship between child abuse and smartphone addiction. The results suggest different intervention strategies according to gender and a necessity of intervention to prevent child depression and smartphone addiction. The implications for social work practice were also discussed.
The purpose of this study is to analyze suicidal ideation of elderly people with diabetes living alone and to investigate the relationship between suicidal ideation, loneliness, and depression. This study was conducted through secondary data analysis using total survey data for the elderly living alone in O province. The subjects of this study were 466 elderly people who were diagnosed with diabetes among the elderly living alone. The data of this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multi-linear regression analysis, and the three-step mediating effect verification procedure of Baron & Kenny using the SPSS 26.0 program. The average loneliness score and average depression score of the subjects were 4.52±3.30 and 4.88±4.03, respectively, and 27.3% of the subjects said they had a suicidal ideation. The subject's loneliness (β=.20, p=.005) and depression (β=.30, p<.001) was found to be a significant factor in predicting suicide ideation. In addition, depression was found to be partially mediated in the relationship between loneliness and suicidal ideation. Through the results of this study, loneliness and depression were found to be important factors related to suicidal ideation in the elderly with diabetes living alone. In addition, in order to improve suicidal ideation in the elderly with diabetes living alone, intervention to lower the level of loneliness and depression is necessary.
According to the clear potential of mobile banking growth, many studies related to this are being conducted, but in Korea, it is concentrated on the analysis of technical factors or consumers' intentions, behaviors, and satisfaction. In addition, even though it has a strong customer base of 20s, there are few studies that have been conducted specifically for this customer group. In order for mobile banking to take a leap forward, a strategy to secure various perspectives is needed not only through research on itself but also through research on external factors affecting mobile banking. Therefore, this study analyzes impulsiveness, credit card use, and SNS addiction among various external factors that can significantly affect mobile banking in their 20s. This study examines whether the relationship between impulsiveness and mobile banking usage depends on whether or not a credit card is used, and checks whether a customer's impulsiveness is possible by examining whether a credit card is used. Based on this, it is possible to establish new standards for classification of marketing target groups of mobile banking. After finding out the static or unsuitable relationship between whether to use a credit card and impulsiveness, we want to indirectly predict the customer's impulsiveness through whether to use a credit card or not to use a credit card. It also verifies the mediating effect of SNS addiction in the relationship between impulsiveness and mobile banking usage. For this analysis, the collected data were conducted according to research problems using the SPSS Statistics 25 program. The findings are as follows. First, positive urgency has been shown to have a significant static effect on mobile banking usage. Second, whether to use credit cards has shown moderating effects in the relationship between fraudulent urgency and mobile banking usage. Third, it has been shown that all subfactors of impulsiveness have significant static relationships with subfactors of SNS addiction. Fourth, it has been confirmed that the relationship between positive urgency, SNS addiction, and mobile banking usage has total effect and direct effect. The first result means that mobile banking usage may be high if positive urgency is measured relatively high, even if the multi-dimensional impulsiveness scale is low. The second result indicates that mobile banking usage rates were not affected by the independent variable, negative urgency, but were found to have a significant static relationship with negative urgency when using credit cards. The third result means that SNS is likely to become addictive if lack of premeditation or lack of perseverance is high because it provides instant enjoyment and satisfaction as a mobile-based service. This also means that SNS can be used as an avoidance space for those with negative urgency, and as an emotional expression space for those with high positive urgency.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship among self-directed learning ability, learner-instructor interaction, learner-learner interaction, and class satisfaction in online learning environments by the structural equation modelling (SEM). Participants of the study consisted of 300 students (110 = high school students, 190 = college students). Through latent mean analysis (LMA), there was no significant difference of study variables between high school and college groups. However, thorough multi-group analysis, self-directed learning ability had a direct and indirect effect on class satisfaction for the college group via learner-instructor and learner-learner interactions, while learner-learner interaction played a full mediating role of the relationship between self-directed learning ability and class satisfaction for the high school group. In addition, self-directed learning ability had a stronger influence on learner-learner interaction for the college group than the high school group. These results would provide important implications for understanding the different mechanisms between high school and college online learning contexts.
