유체-다물체 동역학 연성해석을 통한 베어링 윤활해석 (Bearing Hydrodynamic Lubrication Analysis with Fluid-Multi Body Dynamics Coupling)

  • This research deals with the implementation hydrodynamic (HD) lubrication system with an integration of multibodydynamics (MBD) in order to analyze bearing lubrication characteristics such as pressure distribution and oil film thickness dynamically. The HD solver developed newly will transmit force and torque data to MBD solver, and receive position and velocity data from it continuously. After an analysis, we will verify the result with existing commercial software. Moreover, other functions like adjusting size of mesh grid, setting oil hole & groove effects, and consideration of thrust force will be introduced.

다물체계의 자려진동 구현을 위한 마찰 모델링 (Friction Model to Realize Self-excited Vibration of Multi-body Systems)

  • This paper presents a friction model to realize self-excited vibration of multi-body systems. The friction coefficient is modeled with a spline function in most commercial codes. Even if such a function resolves the problem of discontinuity in friction force, it cannot realize self-excited vibration phenomena. Furthermore, as the relative velocity approaches zero, the friction coefficient approaches zero with the conventional model. So, slip occurs when small force is applied to the system. To avoid these problems a new friction model is proposed in this study. With the new friction model, the self-excited vibration can be realized since the friction coefficient changes with the relative velocity. Furthermore, the slip phenomena could be reduced significantly with the proposed model.

최소 분류 오차 기법과 멀티 모달 시스템을 이용한 감정 인식 알고리즘 (Emotion Recognition Algorithm Based on Minimum Classification Error incorporating Multi-modal System)

  • 본 논문에서는 최소 분류 오차 기법 (Minimum Classification Error, MCE)에 기반한 감정 인식을 위한 알고리즘 멀티 모달(Multi-modal) 시스템을 기반으로 제안한다. 사람의 음성 신호로부터 추출한 특징벡터와 장착한 바디센서로부터 구한 피부의 전기반응도 (Galvanic Skin Response, GSR)를 기반으로 특징벡터를 구성하여 이를 Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM)으로 구성하고 이를 기반으로 구해지는 로그 기반의 우도 (Likelihood)를 사용한다. 특히, 변별적 가중치 학습을 사용하여 최적화된 가중치를 특징벡터에 인가하여 주요 감정을 식별하는 데 이용하여 성능향상을 도모한다. 실험결과 제안된 감정 인식이 기존의 방법보다 우수한 성능을 보인 것을 알 수 있었다.

수심 변화에 따른 볼라드 당김 및 과부하 조건에서의 다중 포드 추진 쇄빙선박의 여유추력 추정에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Study on Prediction of Net Thrust of Multi-Pod-Driven Ice-Breaking Vessel Under Bollard Pull and Overload Conditions According to the Change of Water Depth Using Computational Fluid Dynamics-Based Simulations)

  • In this paper, a numerical analysis technique using a body force model is investigated to estimate the available net thrust of multi-pod-driven ice-breaking vessels under bollard pull and overload conditions. To employ the body force model in present flow simulations, drag and thrust components acting on the pod unit are calculated by using Propeller Open Water (POW) test data. The available net thrusts according to the direction of operation are evaluated in both bollard pull and overload conditions under deep water. The simulation results are compared with the model test data. The available net thrusts, calculated by the present analysis for ahead operating modes at 3~6 knots which are typical speeds of the target vessel in arctic field, are agreed well with the model test results. It is also found that the present result for astern operating mode appears approximately 6 % larger than the model test result. In addition, the available net thrusts are calculated under the both operating conditions accompanied by shallow water effects, and the main cause of the difference is studied. Based on the result of the present study, it is confirmed that the body force model can be applied to the performance evaluation of multi-pod propulsion system and the main engine selection in early design stage of the vessel.

  • A tomography system using microwave multi-channel transceiver was fabricated and measured. The tomography system is applicable to detection of breast cancers in a human body. This system is configured by microwave muiti-channel transceivers, a illumination chamber housing monopole antennas and coupling liquid, and image reconstruction algorithm solving inverse scattering problem.

  • 본 논문은 관성항법시스템(Inertial Navigation System)과 비전 센서(Vision Sensor)를 활용한 통합 항법시스템의 성능 향상을 위한 INS/멀티비전 통합항법 시스템을 제시하였다. 기존의 단일 센서나 스테레오 비전(Stereo vision)을 활용한 경우 측정되는 랜드마크의 수가 적을 경우 필터가 발산하는 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 3개의 비전 센서를 동체를 기준으로 $0^{\circ}$, $120^{\circ}$, $-120^{\circ}$으로 설치하여 단일 센서로 사용되는 경우보다 성능이 향상됨을 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents a method of finding optitnal joint torques of two robots when they hold an object simultaneously. Although the importance of the multiple cooperating robot system increases for more flcviblc ni;mufacturing automation, dynamic solutions to multi-robot system forming closcd kinematic chain is not easy to find. Newton-Eulcr approach is used for the dynamic formulation of two robots fonn~ng closcd kincmatic chains gmsping a rigid body object. The nrcthodology to optimize the joint torques to satisfy given criterta and obtain bettcr control of the system is discussed. The scheme is illustrated by an example.

  • The abnormal vibration from the BTV(Brake Torque Variation) and DTV(Disc Thickness Variation) is transferred to the suspension and steering system during braking. In this paper, judder simulation is carried out using multi-body dynamic analysis program to analyze the relation of the judder and transfer mechanism which is composed of the suspension and steering system. In order to analyze the brake judder transfer system, the full vehicle model was composed with rigid body, non-linear bushing, non-linear constraints and joints. Full vehicle model analysis was compared by actual vehicle judder test and sensitivity analysis of the suspension system is carried out.
