The vessels, already built and is operating in Korea, have the hull form of catamaran, with LOA(Length Over All) 15 m, LBP(Length Between Perpendiculars) 12 m, GT(Gross Tonnage) 9.77ton, Light Load Displacement 15.1ton. Korean Society of Ship Inspection & Technology, Chungnam National University, Inha University, Seoul National University and Advance Marine Tech co. ltd developed by cooperation it for fishing vessels. And it used FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastics) for hull material and main engine of diesel $360ps{\times}2800rpm{\times}2sets$ with a water jet system. Based on these results, this paper describe small leisure fishing vessels with multi-hull, in relation to the project of CTYS(Regional Reserch Center for Transportation System of Yellow Sea Inha University) that aimed to development of trimaran hull form(LOA=17m, LBP=14m(Side Hull=6m), GT=9.77ton, Light Weight=11.2 ton).

In this paper, we derive analytical expressions for the exact pairwise error probability (PEP) of a space-time coded system operating over spatially correlated fast (constant over the duration of a symbol) and slow (constant over the length of a code word) fading channels using a moment-generating function-based approach. We discuss two analytical techniques that can be used to evaluate the exact-PEPs (and therefore, approximate the average bit error probability (BEP)) in closed form. These analytical expressions are more realistic than previously published PEP expressions as they fully account for antenna spacing, antenna geometries (uniform linear array, uniform grid array, uniform circular array, etc.) and scattering models (uniform, Gaussian, Laplacian, Von-mises, etc.). Inclusion of spatial information in these expressions provides valuable insights into the physical factors determining the performance of a space-time code. Using these new PEP expressions, we investigate the effect of antenna spacing, antenna geometries and azimuth power distribution parameters (angle of arrival/departure and angular spread) on the performance of a four-state QPSK space-time trellis code proposed by Tarokh et al. for two transmit antennas.

The centrifugal oil purifier is used in an engine for lubrication and to remove impurities. The momentum needed for the rotation of the cylindrical chamber is obtained by jet injections. An impure particle in the oil is separated by the centrifugal forces moving to the inner wall of the rotating cylindrical chamber body. The dust particles are eliminated when the particles are absorbed onto the surface of the inner wall of the chamber body. The flow characteristics and the physical behaviors of particles in this centrifugal oil purifier were investigated numerically and the filtration efficiencies was evaluated. For calculations, a commercial code is used and the SST (Shear Stress Transport) turbulence model has been adopted. The MFR (Multi Frames of Reference) method is introduced to consider the rotating effect of the flows. Under various variables, such as particle size, particle density and rotating speed, the filtration efficiencies are evaluated. It has been verified that the filtration efficiency is increased with the increments in the particle size, the particle density and the rotating speed of the cylindrical chamber.

The use of lubrication oil is of many purposes and one among them is to drive the engine mounted on a ship. Hence the supply of clean lubrication oil is important. And an oil purifier is one of key components in marine diesel engines. At present, the element type full-flow oil filter has been widely used for cleaning the engine oil. The self-driven centrifugal oil purifier is a device which is used to remove the impurities in lubrication oil using a jet flow. The flow characteristics and the physical behaviors of particles in this self-driven oil purifier were investigated numerically and the filtration efficiencies were evaluated. For calculations, a Computational Fluid Dynamics method is used and the Shear Stress Transport turbulence model has been adopted. The Multi Frames of Reference method is used to consider the rotating effect of the flows. The influence of centrifugal forcehas been numerically investigatedto improve filtration efficiency of tiny particles. As a result of this research, it was found that the particle filtration efficiency using the only center axis rotating and outer wall rotating system are higher than that of the fully rotating system in the self-driven oil purifier.
We present the magnetic field strengths of CTA 102 using multi-frequency data at 2.6-343.5 GHz in order to study the physical origins of radio flares. The observations at 22 and 43 GHz were conducted using the single-dish radio telescopes of the Korean VLBI Network (KVN) from December 2012 until May 2018 (MJD 56200-58400). We used multi-frequency data obtained from the Effelsberg 100-m, OVRO 40-m, Metsähovi 14-m, IRAM 30-m, SMA, ALMA, and VLBA telescopes. During the period of the observations, two major flares (R1 and R2) are seen clearly at 15 and 37 GHz during MJD 57500-57800 and MJD 58000-58300, respectively. The source shows typical variability with time-scales ranging from 20-161 days at 15 GHz. The variability Doppler factor is in the range of 11.51-31.23. The quasi-simultaneous radio data are used to investigate the synchrotron spectrum of the source, finding that the synchrotron radiation is self-absorbed. The turnover frequency and the peak flux density of the synchrotron self-absorption (SSA) spectra are in ranges of 38.06-167.86 GHz and 1.49-10.38 Jy, respectively. From the SSA spectra, magnetic field strengths are estimated to be < 10 mG. The equipartition magnetic field strengths are larger than the SSA magnetic field strengths by a factor of > 100. This indicates that the radio flares may be related to a particle energy-dominated emission region.

This paper presents the Inkjet-printed strain gauge using PEDOT:PSS. The strain gauge (width 0.6 mm, length 20 mm, thickness $0.3{\mu}m$) was printed on the PET film using PEDOT:PSS ink. The resistance variation of the fabricated strain gauge was measured by the digital multi-meter with the displacement range of -4 to 10 mm. As the measured result, resistance variation (${\Delta}R/R_0$) has approximately 0.75%, linearity of 99.87%. The fabricated strain gauge is expected to the various applications such as tape type pressure sensor, PMS(pressure mapping sensor), wearable devices.

The objective of the present study is to develop a new type of the Ballistic range, called 'two-stage light gas gun'. A computational work has been performed to investigate the aerodynamics of a projectile which is launched from the two-stage light gas gun. A moving coordinate method for a multi-domain technique is employed to simulate unsteady projectile flows with a moving boundary. The effect of a virtual mass is added to the axisymmetric unsteady Euler equation systems. The computed results reasonably capture the major flow characteristics which are generated in launching the projectile supersonically, such as the interaction between the shock wave and the blast wave, the interaction between the vortical flow and the barrel shock, and the steady under-expanded jet. The present computational results properly predict the velocity, acceleration, and drag histories of the projectile.
The objective of this paper is to investigate the flow characteristics of the multi nozzle. The configurations of the single, the 3- and the 6-nozzle were selected under Mach number of 2.5. Under-expanded pressure ratio such as 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 were selected to elucidate interference of the free jet. The flow visualization was carried out with the Schlieren system and a supersonic cold-flow system. Also, the flow characteristics were studied computationally with the density measurements. Reasonable agreement between experimental and theoric equation has been achieved qualitatively.
With the power of supercomputers increasing exponentially, there is an insatiable need for more advanced multi-disciplinary aerospace CFD simulations. A particular current interest is the 3D viscous turbulent simulation of the highly nonlinear aspects of aero-icing. The applications of CFD in that field are literally light-years behind aerodynamics, with a significant number of users still mired in correlations, or 2D, inviscid, incompressible, and, yes, Panel Methods simulations! Thus, the disparity of tools between aerodynamics and icing departments within an organization leads to a disconnect that makes ice protection a downstream isolated process that is not an integral part of the aerodynamic behavior of an aerospace system (aircraft, rotorcraft, jet engine, UAV, etc.). While 3D RANS has been recently introduced, it is still considered computationally too demanding for industry when wide parametric studies for certification are required. In addition, not unlike the situation in aerodynamics say 20 years ago, naysayers are at every corner claiming that CFD is not reliable and is of limited use.
A multi-dimensioanl model is being increasingly used to predict the thermo-flow field in the gas turbine combustor. This article addresses an integrated survey of modeling of the liquid spray formation and fuel distribution in gas turbine with high-shear nozzle/swirler assembly. The processes of concern include breakup of a liquid jet injected through a hole type orifice into air stream, spray-wall interaction and spray-film interaction, breakup of liquid sheet into ligaments and droplet,5, and secondary droplet breakup. Atomization of liquid through hole nozzle is described using a liquid blobs model and hybrid model of Kelvin-Helmholtz wave and Rayleigh-Taylor wave. The high-speed viscous liquid sheet atomization on the pre-filmer is modeled by a linear stability analysis. Spray-wall interaction model and liquid film model over the wall surface are also considered.
