멀티미디어 서비스 수요의 증가는 네트워크 상에서 기존의 문자기반의 컨텐츠 제공 서비스의 수요를 이미 앞질렀으며 네트워크와 시스템 자원의 발전에 따라 사용자 요구는 그에 따라 더욱 폭 넓게 증가하고 있다. 우수한 품질의 동영상 데이터를 온라인 상에서 품질 저하 없이 서비스 받을 수 있는 것을 넘어 사용자는 컨텐츠에 파생되는 부가의 서비스를 요구하게 되었고 이는 기존의 텍스트 정보에 의한 양방향 서비스가 아닌 사용자의 요구에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 자체에 대한 서비스를 위한 정보시스템이 필요하게 되었음을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 객체 단위의 동영상을 실시간으로 합성하여 이를 사용자에게 즉시 서비스하는 양방향 멀티미디어 서버 시스템의 설계와 구현에 대해 기술하였다. 구현된 시스템은 사용자에게 일방적인 데이터를 전송하는 기존의 시스템과 달리 적용 가능한 객체 단위 동영상을 합성 전송하고 자동 추출된 실시간 오브젝트를 다양한 배경화면과 함께 합성하여 서비스 할 수 있는 기능 구조를 가진다. 또한 멀티미디어 서버의 주요 목표를 반영하여 확장과 성능을 고려한 클러스터 On-Demand 서버를 구성하였으며 서버와 서비스 관리를 위한 모든 구성요소를 포함하여 실제 서비스가 가능한 완전한 미디어 시스템을 설계 구현하였다.

We have studied on optical properties of advanced S-IPS with a fine pitch electrode and a new finger design. Transmittance of panel increases with decreasing of width and angle of finger electrode. In order to improve transmittance, fine pitch electrode of ${\sim}2{\mu}m$ and rubbing angle of 10 degree have been adopted. Various optical performances are defined as the function of finger design and field intensify across the IPS pixel electrodes. We have developed the advanced electrode structures with a high performance. As a result, the optical properties of 42" full HD with 120Hz frequency shows high transmittance over 5%, contrast ratio of 1800:1, gray-to-gray response time of 4.4ms, respectively. And also we have studied that the moving picture quality of IPS LCD is related with design parameters of IPS cells and finger shape.

For that reason, more and more growing of the internet speed, many kind of the multimedia as if the voice, a letter, a photograph, a moving picture are appearance and integration of the internet as if the wireless internet, the CATV, a satellite is forming. Today, many changes in the communication environment are occurrence. therefore a demands of the user keep up increase. so, in this paper, we developed the SOHO IP-PBX embedded which can automatically exchange the call. the developed IP-PBX have many functions as if the exchange call function, the gateway function, the PSTN backup function, the FAX function, the VPN function, etc. and verified it by an experiment on the rules in KT.

In this paper, digital holographic data storage system is implemented to record and retrieve the color images using new direct access method and binary image processing. As a result of applying image processing via a proposed direct access method, we can reduce the number of data page than binary image processing using raw file and replay color image of resolution of $128{\times}80{\times}256$ (6.6KB). Also it is showed that the input data can be transformed into digital holograms regardless of any kinds of file such as character data, moving picture. etc.

The main purpose of this paper Is to analyze the characteristics of the Korean language used as a major communication means within the Korean community in Chenguoz District of Harbin, Heirungjiang Province, China, in terms of its phonology, morphology and syntax. The study focuses on how a variety of languages and dialects including Chinese, the Standard Chinese Korean adopted as a means of teaching in Korean schools, and Kyongsang Dialect of Korean have influenced the language of the community. It also deals as background information with the history of the community, the attitude of the community members toward Korean and Chinese, and their proficiencies of Korean and Chinese, to obtain the general picture of the bilingualism of this community. This specific region was studied since this region and most of the Korean communities in the Heirungjiang province were formed by descendents of the immigrants from the southern provinces of the Korean Peninsula, which allows the comparison between the language used today and the language their ancestors used before moving to this area. Due to the industrialization and innovation brought about by the opening of the Chinese society, the fast outward flow of youths to urban areas, and greater assimilation threats from the embedding Chinese culture, we are not too sure if the Korean language will continue to be used in the future. Given these circumstances, we consider this research most opportune in that it provides a look into the Korean community that developed its distinctive culture and language within an isolated cultural environment.

Problem of compatibility, contents protection, contents circulation etc. was caused between contents offerer and consumers by indiscreet rights technical development about digital contents. Therefore, MPEG-21 framework proposed the REL(Right Expression Language) based on XML(extensible Markup Language) by rights expression language for rights management. We designed and implemented of the REL document editing system that rights creation and edit are available efficiently about contents easily without comprehension of MPEG-21 framework and client system that present consumption method of REL document.

The standardization on RDD and REL has been developed by MPEG. REL is a Right Expression Language and RDD is term dictionary which develop active application of REL. However, since REL documents could be oかy edited by user understanding MPEG-21's framework, much easier editing system is required. As well, REL Consumption System to process and analyze REL documents, the RDD interoperability system to interoperate REL and RDD are needed. In this paper, REL Editing System and REL Consumption System, RDD Web Services System were designed and implemented, REL Editing System to make REL document, REL Consumption System to process and analyze edited documents, RDD Web Services System to process rights inquiry base on the Web Services.

As demands for high-definition television (HDTV) increase, the implementation of real-time decoding of high-definition (HD) video becomes an important issue. The data size for HD video is so large that real-time processing of the data is difficult to implement, especially with software. In order to implement a fast moving picture expert group-2 decoder for HDTV, we compose five scenarios that use parallel processing techniques such as data decomposition, task decomposition, and pipelining. Assuming the multi digital signal processor environments, we analyze each scenario in three aspects: decoding speed, L1 memory size, and bandwidth. By comparing the scenarios, we decide the most suitable cases for different situations. We simulate the scenarios in the dual-core and dual-central processing unit environment by using OpenMP and analyze the simulation results.

본 논문은 이동통신 네트웍 환경에 있는 다양한 상황에 대해서 능동적으로 대처하는 데이터 전송 알고리즘을 가지고 있는 이동통신 로드의 데이터 전송 효율성 성능평가를 목적으로 한다. 현재 이동통신 단말기들은 링크 에러, 패킷손실 에러, 대역폭 변화 등과 같은 일정하지 않는 다양한 환경조건을 가지고 있고 이러한 이동통신 네트웍 환경 문제로 인해서 수동적인 전송보다는 능동적인 전송알고리즘을 가진 노드들을 필요로 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 두 이동통신 단말기간에 데이터를 전송하는 과정에서 임의의 링크 에러, 패킷손실 에러를 줄것이며 또한 대역폭 변화를 주어 수동적 전송알고리즘을 가지는 노드와 능동적 전송알고리즘을 가지는 노드의 성능을 비교 함으로서 능동적 전송방법을 가지고 있는 이동통신 노드가 이동통신 환경에서는 보다 우월한 성능을 가지게 된다는 것을 알게될것이다.
