  • This paper is presented about the development of magnetic levitation conveyor with a transverse flux linear synchronous motor (TFLSM). The TFLSM is proposed as the new type linear motor for the conveyor driving system. The flux density distribution. the thrust and etc. of TFLSM are analyzed by the finite element method. To analyze the dynamic characteristics of TFLSM, the parameter of equivalent circuit is calculated by the analytical method.

  • This study is to embody automatic inspection system of motor body panel by visual system. since it is inefficient to examine the adhesion condition of components with the naked eye, picture processing algorithm is presented to replace the existing manual inspection process with an automatic inspection process. The developed automatic inspection system presents the examination method of the adhesion condition of components with a ixed camera, which leads to an increase of the productivity and a reduction of manufacturing cost.

  • This paper proposes an intelligent controller for brushless DC motor and load with unknown nonlinear dynamics. The proposed intelligent control system consists of a plant identifier and PID controller with varying gains. The identifier is constructed using an Auto Regressive Moving Average (ARMA) model. In order to tune the parameters of the identifier and the gains of the PID controller efficiently, e also propose a modified Evolution Strategy. Experimental results show that the proposed intelligent controller for brushless DC motor has good control performance under unknown disturbance.

  • Recently, a Elevator system is specially important in human life. Also a elevator door is important to a elevator system. In this paper, induction motor drive system using vector control was developed with high performance for elevator door system. For this, velocity pattern generation method was proposed. The proposed system is verified by experimental result with 400[w] induction motor drive system for the elevator door.

  • The ground tests of the dual pulse solid rocket motors(SRM) were performed to prove the performance of the developed dual pulse solid rocket motors. To achieve dual pulse, pulse seperation device(PSD) and independent ignition systems were installed between the 1st pulse motor and the 2nd pulse motor. The three major development goals are as follow. First, the total impulse of the dual pulse SRM must be over 90% of the single SRM which has same envelopment and weight. Second, the ignition of the 2nd pulse motor can be started at any time between 0 and 60 seconds after termination of the 1st pulse motor. Last, the rupture disk of PSD must not be broken at the 1st pulse pressure, but be broken at below 30% of the 2nd pulse operating pressure. The results of the ground tests satisfied the development goals.

  • The motor boat which is the principal equipment of marine leisure depends heavily an imported motor boats in Korea But because the demand of marine leisure and motor boat increases, it is necessary to develope a cheap and safe domestic-manufactured motor boat. However the development of motor but for marine leisure is not performed at all in Korea in this paper, we consider the concept design of public motor but for marine leisure. The present status and possession prediction of leisure boat are investigated at first. And the benchmarking of the overseas motor bout for marine leisure is performed. And next the required performance, the range of principal dimension and the needed equipment of the public motor boat are investigated based on the benchmarking results of the overseas motor boat. Development of Composite Load Models of Power Systems using On-line Measurement Data

  • Load representation has a significant impact on power system analysis and control results. In this paper, composite load models are developed based on on-line measurement data from a practical power system. Three types of static-dynamic load models are derived: general ZIP-induction motor model, Exponential-induction motor model and Z-induction motor model. For the dynamic induction motor model, two different third-order induction motor models are studied. The performances in modeling real and reactive power behaviors by composite load models are compared with other dynamic load models in terms of relative mismatch error. In addition, numerical consideration of ill-conditioned parameters is addressed based on trajectory sensitivity. Numerical studies indicate that the developed composite load models can accurately capture the dynamic behaviors of loads during disturbance.
