지식수준과 종결욕구가 전반적 평가에 미치는 영향 : 상황적 심각성의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Impacts of Knowledge Level and Need for Closure and on Overall Evaluations : Considering the Moderating Role of Situational Severity)

  • This paper attempts to show that consumers' own information processing mode can play an important role in inducing favorable product evaluations, which is the most key goal of marketing. Th elaboration likelihood model contends that consumers' motivation and knowledge, in addition to the outside marketing information, affects the evaluation process. On the other hand, The resource matching hypothesis suggests that an excessively high level of information processing may lead to negative evaluations. In this study, Need for closure exacerbated overall evaluations of consumers. Such relationship was more salient in the condition of low severity that in the condition of high severity. Also under the situation of low severity, consumers with high level of relevant knowledge made evaluations more favorable, compared to the consumers of low knowledge. On contrast under the situation of high severity, relevant knowledge leaded to less favorable evaluations. This experiment identifies the appropriateness of the elaboration likelihood model and the resource matching hypothesis. Especially This study suggests an rare example that consumers' knowledge may not paly an desirable role in making their judgments.

A Scalable and Robust Approach to Collaboration Enforcement in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

  • Mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs) have attracted great research interest in recent years. Among many issues, lack of motivation for participating nodes to collaborate forms a major obstacle to the adoption of MANETs. Many contemporary collaboration enforcement techniques employ reputation mechanisms for nodes to avoid and penalize malicious participants. Reputation information is propagated among participants and updated based on complicated trust relationships to thwart false accusation of benign nodes. The aforementioned strategy suffers from low scalability and is likely to be exploited by adversaries. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to address these problems. With the proposed technique, no reputation information is propagated in the network and malicious nodes cannot cause false penalty to benign hosts. Nodes classify their one-hop neighbors through direct observation and misbehaving nodes are penalized within their localities. Data packets are dynamically rerouted to circumvent selfish nodes. As a result, overall network performance is greatly enhanced. This approach significantly simplifies the collaboration enforcement process, incurs low overhead, and is robust against various malicious behaviors. Simulation results based on different system configurations indicate that the proposed technique can significantly improve network performance with very low communication cost.

  • The development of Science and Technology and the social change require new paradigm in Education. In a traditional paradigm, learners have been regarded as a passive being and knowledge could be transmitted to learner. But within this paradigm, it is difficult to confront the social change and to develop problem solving skills in various context. This results in a new, alternative perspective, Constructive paradigm. As an alternative to the traditional settings, Constructive paradigm emphasizes the learner centered instruction. The reform movement in mathematics education including NCTM's standards revolves around this paradigm and the open education movement in our educational system is based on it. Open education values learner's interest, autonomy and internal motivation in learning. However, open education has been misunderstood by most of the teachers. It should be understood as the change of paradigm. In this study, as a way of helping students connect mathematics to their everyday lives and construct meaningful mathematical knowledge and concept, mathematical modelling is suggested. It consists of posing and specifying the real problem, formulation and constructing a mathematical model, analyzing and solving a mathematical problem. interpreting the solution and comparing with reality and communicating results. In this process, technology like computer can be a powerful tool. It can help students explore various problems more easily and concretely.

두유 신제품 개발을 위한 소비자 구매행태 및 지불의사에 대한 연구 - 천안지역 생협 소비자를 중심으로 - (A Study of the Consumer's Purchase Behavior and Willingness-to-Pay on the New Soymilk - Foucused on Cooperative Members in Cheonan -)

  • The objective of this study was to propose motivation for the analysis of consumer's purchasing behavior and willingness to pay for the new soymilk products in cooperative stores. We surveyed the purchasing behavior, willingness to purchase, willingness to pay, and impact factors on willingness to pay. The results indicated that most consumers drank soymilk more than once per week. The reasons for consuming soymilk were health, nutrition, and taste, in order. When purchasing soymilk, consumers considered environment-friendly, quality, country of origin, brand, and price, consecutively. Taste was also an essential quality factor. Thus, consumers showed some willingness to purchase new soymilk products. In addition, cooperative members considered environmental characteristics of raw material and improvement of preference for final product as more important than functionality or food additives. Differentiation of process and marketing strategies are required for the development of soymilk products for cooperative members.

퍼지 이론을 이용한 교통사고 위험수준 평가모형 (A Development of Fuzzy Logic-Based Evaluation Model for Traffic Accident Risk Level)

  • The evaluation of risk level or possibility of traffic accidents is a fundamental task in reducing the dangers associated with current transportation system. However, due to the lack of data and basic researches for identifying such factors, evaluations so far have been undertaken by only the experts who can use their judgements well in this regard. Here comes the motivation this thesis to evaluate such risk level more or less in an automatic manner. The purpose of this thesis is to test the fuzzy-logic theory in evaluating the risk level of traffic accidents. In modeling the process of expert's logical inference of risk level determination, only the geometric features have been considered for the simplicity of the modeling. They are the visibility of road surface, horizontal alignment, vertical grade, diverging point, and the location of pedestrain crossing. At the same time, among some inference methods, fuzzy composition inference method has been employed as a back-bone inference mechanism. In calibration, the proposed model used four sites' data. After that, using calibrated model, six sites' risk levels have been identified. The results of the six sites' outcomes were quite similar to those of real world other than some errors caused by the enforcement of the model's output. But it seems that this kind of errors can be overcome in the future if some other factors such as driver characteristics, traffic environment, and traffic control conditions have been considered. Futhermore, the application of site's specific time series data would produce better results.

  • The motivation for this work was the potential of hydrophobic amino acids such as glycine, L-alanine, and L-valine to be applied as thermodynamic hydrate inhibitors (THIs). To confirm their capabilities in inhibiting the formation of gas hydrates, three-phase (liquid-hydrate-vapor) equilibrium conditions for carbon dioxide hydrate formation in the presence of 0.1 to 3.0 mol% amino acid solutions were determined in the range of 273.05 to 281.45 K and 14.1 to 35.2 bar. From quantitative analyses, the inhibiting effects of the amino acids (on a mole concentration basis) decreased in the following order: L-valine > L-alanine > glycine. The application of amino acids as THIs has several potential advantages over conventional methods. First, the environmentally friendly nature of amino acids as compared to conventional inhibitors means that damage to ecological systems and the environment could be minimized. Second, the loss of amino acids in recovery process would be considerably reduced because amino acids are non-volatile. Third, amino acids have great potential as a model system in which to investigate the inhibition mechanism on the molecular level, since the structure and chemical properties of amino acids are well understood.

  • 최근에 멀티미디어 기술과 결합된 공학교육용 가상 웹사이트가 다양한 형태로 출현함에 따라 공학교육의 인터넷 응용에 많은 관심이 모아졌다. 그러나 단방향성 통신, 단순한 텍스트나 이미지 기반의 웹문서 그리고 동기부여가 없는 지루한 교육진행과정등은 가상공간에서의 교육의 효율성을 저하시켜왔다. 따라서 이러한 어려움을 극복하기 위해 본 논문에서는 디지털 논리시스템의 원리나 개념을 이해하기 위한 웹기반 교육용 자바애플릿을 제시한다. 제안된 자바 애플릿은 학습자의 흥미를 증가시킬 수 있는 향상된 학습방법을 제공한다. 본 논문의 결과는 가상대학의 사이버강좌의 효율성을 증대시키기 위해 광범위하게 사용되어 질 수 있으며, 제안된 학습방법의 유효성을 입증하기 위해 몇 개의 샘플 자바 애플릿 프로그램을 제시하였다.

산학연계 트리즈(TRIZ) 단기 프로그램의 교육적 효과 분석 (An educational effect analysis of a short-term TRIZ program in industry-university cooperation)

  • A camp program where the theory of inventive problem solving TRIZ is applied to real problems of the industry was developed and taught at a five-day seminar apart from the standard curriculum at a university D in Gyeonggido. This study focuses on the educational effect that the TRIZ method has on the engineering students when their creative problem solving skills are required to solve industry problems on their own with the knowledge from their courses. For five days, the students were educated about TRIZ and assigned a real industry problem "Removal of friction caused by bubble formation in water heating pipelines". By applying TRIZ to the problem, the students developed an "Air removing Air Arrester" which received the evaluation, "with understanding the system architecture and the task objective causes and formation of the problem could be handled which directly helps the company's R&D". In this case, TRIZ offers the students a guideline and knowledge on how to approach problems and as a result the students provided a practical solution. During the process, the TRIZ method instilled confidence in the students and proved to be a motivation. It becomes obvious that this short-term program has a positive effect on students' way of thinking creatively and increasing their problem-solving abilities.

주부교육프로그램에 대한 요구도 분석 (A Study on the Needs for Housewives' Educational Program)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the housewives' needs for educational program. In this study the needs lot housewives educational program are consisted on 3 areas ; 1. program contents, 2. program management and 3. program activization plan. For the survey and statistical analysis the questionares from 445 full-time housewives who participate in educational program at present are used. The results of this study are following; 1, in the area of program contents the needs for housing/health, nutrition, family life planning for elderly stage and enhancement of parents-children relationship are very high. This contents are very related with research topics of human ecology. So the researcher of our science are expected to be involved more in the related program development and actualization in the field. 2. in the area of program management the needs for the concret management process such as human resource management and education period are much higher than the educational provision. 3. in the area of program activization the systematization of the program incording with program level is most needed. 4. the housewive who are keeping the social characteristics such as social orientation, the motivation of social integration, the participation in the social-oriented educational program have higher needs for the most entire program contents, management and activization plan.

  • 컴퓨터는 수업시의 문제 해결에 대한 동기유발과 이해를 강화시켜 오늘날의 교육에 강조되고 있는 문제 해결 학습에 가장 적합한 교육공학 도구이고 우리에게 다양하고 풍부한 학습경험을 적시적소에 전달할 수 있는 정보화시대의 대표적인 교수-학습 방법으로 인식되고 있다. 멀티미디어 저작도구는 멀티미디어 시스템의 제반기술을 이용하여 단시간 내에 교육용 코스웨어의 개발과 유지보수를 도와준다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 저작도구를 이용하여 효과적인 교육용 소프트웨어 개발과정을 제시하며 이의 교육에의 응용에 대한 교육적 이점, 제한점 그리고 향후 나아가야할 발전 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.
