  • In this paper, the design method, design techniques and structure of a language for a SCARA type industrial robot, are presented. The proposed new language is modular and expandable using the C programming language and the 8086 assembly language. It is composed of monitor mode which controls the main flow of the programs, editing mode which generates, corrects and edits the programs, execution mode which executes the generated programs, I/O mode which interacts with the external devices, and teach mode. The developed language is implemented on the robot controller to verify its performance.

  • In this paper, We represent a low complexity of parallel canonical basis multiplier for GF( q$^{n}$ ), ( q> 2). The Mastrovito multiplier is investigated and applied to multiplication in GF(q$^{n}$ ), GF(q$^{n}$ ) is different with GF(2$^{n}$ ), when MVL is applied to finite field. If q is larger than 2, inverse should be considered. Optimized irreducible polynomial can reduce number of operation. In this paper we describe a method for choosing optimized irreducible polynomial and modularizing recursive polynomial operation. A optimized irreducible polynomial is provided which perform modulo reduction with low complexity. As a result, multiplier for fields GF(q$^{n}$ ) with low gate counts. and low delays are constructed. The architectures are highly modular and thus well suited for VLSI implementation.

  • The DEVS (Discrete Event system Specification) formal model for discrete event simulation is a hierarchical, modular model. Because the DEVS formal model has a mathematical structure, it provides a theoretic background of discrete event simulation model. However, the DEVS formal model is difficult to understand because of its mathematical structure. Also, since the DEVS formal model is often constructed by heuristic, subjective method of model designer from the model, a systematic model built-in methodology does not exist. In this paper, we propose the model formalization methodology from an informal model to the DEVS formal model. For this formalization methodology, we introduce formal tools for model construction based on the DEVS ( from an informal model : Event Dependency Graph (EDG) for the event analysis and State Representation Graph(SRG) for the system state analysis.

  • The method of conductor wiring is that a messenger wire is installed, the end of the wire is connected to the conductor and a engine puller pulls the conductor. The length of one section of wiring is $3{\sim}5km$ and one group messenger wire pulls simultaneously $2{\sim}4$ group conductor, while a tensioner maintains wiring tension to prevent the deflection of the conductor. However, there are many obstacles such as roads, power lines, communication lines, buildings, farms and crops. Therefore to prevent damage from conductor deflection a staging is used. The currently used staging is scaffolding lumber which is difficult to secure and it's construction efficiency is very low because it requires a lot of time and manpower. So this study developed a insulating defense tube and pipe connecting device, and a truss structure fabrication module using steel pipe which reduces construction time and cost through a compressive and dielectric strength test.

  • A concrete core is used widely as lateral stability systems in high-rise modular buildings. As an alternative to traditional cast in-situ core, the precast concrete(PC) method can accelerate the construction of reinforced concrete cores. A core composed of precast elements differs from a in-situ core in having connections between the precast elements. The typical vertical connection between PC panels is consisted of shear keys, loop bars, lacer bars and grout. In this study, the effect of vertical connection components on shear strength is investigated experimentally. The test results show that the contribution to the shear strength is greater in order of grout strength, shear keys, lacer bars and loop bars. In addition, the numerical models to estimate the shear strength according to two crack patterns in the vertical joint of the PC panels are derived. The feasibility of the numerical models is evaluated by comparing the estimated shear strength and the test results.

  • In order to achieve carbon neutrality in the architectural field by 2050, this study analyzed the energy impact proportional to CO2 emissions of each technique, such as design methods, the properties of building structures, prefabrication methods, passive houses, and active facilities. In addition, the results were presented quantitatively in terms of carbon reduction, and corresponding housing cases were analyzed. The research method is limited to residential buildings at the Passive House energy level, and carbon reduction techniques and elements in architecture are examined through various literature and materials, and empirical cases are analyzed to determine the specific possibility of realizing carbon reduction in architecture. We want to secure it. Based on these analysis results, it was possible to suggest that it is possible to explore various approaches to carbon reduction in future residential construction. By combining the most efficient techniques according to the energy reduction level or goal setting of the building in question, we expect the possibility of achieving the goal of carbon reduction in the residential sector more realistically.

  • Nearly 400 composite railway bridge decks of a new kind belonging to the trough type with U-shaped cross section have been constructed in Belgium over the last fifteen years. The construction of these bridge decks is rather complex with the preflexion of precambered steel girders, the prestressing of a concrete slab and the addition of a 2nd phase concrete. Until now, they have been designed with a classical computation method using a pseudo-elastic analysis with modular ratios. Globally, they perform according to the expectations but variability has been observed between the measured and the computed camber of these bridge decks just after the transfer of prestressing and also at long-term. A statistical analysis of the variability of the relative difference between the measured camber and the computed camber is made for a sample of 36 bridge decks using no less than 10 variables. The most significant variables to explain this variability at prestressing are the ratio between the maximum tensile stress reached in the steel girders during the preflexion and the yield strength and the type of steel girder. For the same sample, the long-term camber under permanent loading is computed by two methods and compared with measurements taken one or two years after the construction. The camber computed by the step-by-step method shows a better agreement with the measured camber than the camber computed by the classical method. The purpose of the paper is to report on the statistical analysis which was used to determine the most significant parameters to consider in the modeling in order to improve the prediction of the behaviour of these composite railway bridge decks.

  • In this paper, we present a method on the construction of multiple-valued circuits using Reed-Muller Expansions(RME). First, we discussed the input output interconnection of multiple valued function using Perfect Shuffle techniques and Kronecker product and designed the basic cells of performing the transform matrix and the reverse transform matrix of multiple valued RME using addition circuit and multiplication circuit of GF(4). Using these basic cells and the input-output interconnection technique based on Perfect Shuffle and Kronecker product, we implemented the multiple valued logic circuit based on RME. The proposed design method of multiple valued RME is simple and very efficient to reduce addition circuits and multiplication circuits as compared with other methods for same function because of using matrix transform based on modular structures. The proposed design method of multiple valued logic circuits is simple and regular for wire routing and possess the properties of concurrency and modularity of array.

  • A submerged floating railway is an innovative tunnel infrastructure passing through the deep sea independent of wave and wind so that high speed trains can run on it. It doesn't depend on water depth and is cost effective due to modular construction on land. The construction period can be reduced drastically. This paper introduces the concept design of a submerged floating railway, and for securing safety, proposes a method to analyze the structural behavior of the body in case of collision with a submarine. The theory of a beam with an elastic foundation was used to calculate the equivalent mass of the body so that the perfect elastic collision could be applied to calculate the collision velocity. The maximum deformation and bending moment was analyzed based on energy conservation. To verify the results, a collision analysis using a finite element analysis code was made. Comparing the results confirmed that this simplified collision analysis method gives enough accurate deformation and bending moment to be used for actual estimation in the initial design stage.
