시간영역 설계명세를 위한 목표전달함수의 새로운 표준형 (New prototypes of target transfer functions for time domain specification)

  • This paper deals with a problem searching a target transfer function to meet the time-domain specifications for feedback system with given plant transfer function. For the Type I system, we first define three forms of transient response to unit step input, which are named by F, M, S-type. These are charaacterized as follows ; F-type has fast initial response and slow approach to the steady sate after reaching at 90% of the steady state value, S-type has slow initial response but fast approach to the steady state, and M-type is denoted by highly smooth response between F-type and S-type. Three prototypes corresponding to each form are proposed, time. For the order $n{\geq}4$, after determining admissible root structures of target characteristic polynomials empirically and expressing such polynomial coefficients by using special parameters ${\gamma}_i$ and $\epsilon$, the optimal prototypes that minimize the integral of the squared of the modified errors(ISME) have been obtained. Since the step responses of these prototypes have almost same wave forms irrespective to the order, the desired settling time or the rise time can be converted into the equibalent time constant $\tau$ and thus it is easy to obtain a target transfer function. It is shown through a design example that the present prototype is very useful for meeting the time-domain specifications and has been compared with different methods with a viewpoint of pertinence.

위 아전절제술 후 소화관 재건 방법에 따른 영양상태와 삶의 질의 비교 (Quality of Life and Nutritional Outcomes of Billroth I and Billroth II Reconstruction)

  • Purpose: We compared the quality of life (QOL) and nutritional outcomes following both Billroth I (BI) and Billroth II (BII) reconstructions after a subtotal gastrectomy in order to identify which reconstruction would produce a better QOL and nutritional outcomes and to provide better follow-up management. Materials and Methods: We studied 273 patients without evidence of recurrent disease following a curative distal subtotal gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Among them, 135 underwent a BI reconstruction and 138 a BII reconstruction. The nutritional status was assessed by using levels of hemoglobin, serum albumin, iron, and vitamin B12 and by calculating the relative body weight, the body mass index, and the percentage of body fat. The QOL was measured by using the Troidl score and by treatment-specific symptoms based on the criteria, somewhat modified by the authors, of Korenaga and others. Results: There was no significant difference in QOL between the BI and the BII groups. More than half of the patients revealed anemia, regardless of the type of reconstruction. The serum vitamin $B_{12}$ level of the BII group was lower than that of the BI group. The BII group showed a tendency toward lower hemoglobin levels and serum iron concentrations than the BI group did. Conclusions: The quality of life was not impaired in most patients after either a BI or a BII reconstruction. However, both resulted in iron deficiency anemia, although the incidence was higher after a BII reconstruction. The patient's serum iron and vitamin B12 should be measured periodically and these must be administered if the measurements reveal a below normal range.

Identifying the VeLLOs in the Spitzer Gould's Belt Survey

  • We present results of searching for the Very Low Luminosity Objects (VeLLOs; internal luminosity : $L_{int}$ < $0.1(d/140pc)^2\;L\odot$) in the Gould's Belt clouds using observations from 3.6 to 70 micron by the Spitzer Space Telescope. The clouds are California, Chamaeleon I, III, Musca, Lupus V, VI, Scorpius, Serpens, Corona Australis, Cepheus, and IC 5146 having the properties of active low-mass star-forming such as the Taurus cloud. The observing sensitivity of the Spitzer data is estimated to be about $L_{int}\;\geq\;5\times10^{-3}(d/140pc)^2\;L\odot$, a factor of 20 better than that of the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS). The observing data were processed by the c2d Legacy pipeline. As the criteria to select the VeLLOs, we slightly modified previous ones by Dunham et al. The most important criterion is a flux density at 70 micron that is directly converted to the internal luminosity. Also, we used additional criteria to remove the contamination of evolved stars and extragalaxies which have colors or SEDs very similar to YSOs. We identified a total of 64 new embedded VeLLO candidates with $L_{int}$ < $0.1(d/140pc)^2\;L\odot$, consisting of 8 in California, 15 in Chamaeleon-Musca, 13 in Scorpius-Lupus, 20 in Serpens, 3 in Corona Australis, 3 in Cepheus, and 2 in IC 5146. The classification of the spectral index (${\alpha}$) fitted to the shape of the Ks-24 micron SEDs shows most of VeLLO candidates (89%) are in types of Class I and Flat spectrum. We plot various diagrams based on their 2MASS-Spitzer bands colors and magnitudes to discuss properties of the VeLLOs. This search will lead us new adventure toward a future systematic study of the VeLLOs.

C.M.I.간이법에 의한 노인들의 건강수소율 (Health Complaints of Elderly Persons Using a Modified C.M.I.)

  • The explosion of the aging population is changing the social environment of today's older people. Traditionally in Korea, a large percentage(over 90%) of elderly parents have lived with their married first son. But today, the number of elderly who live with their married sons has decreased(65.6%) The number of those who live in a different situation such as with their married daughter, unmarried offspring, with a spouse or alone has increased (34.4%) We can expect that the number of the elderly who have to live in institution will increase. The objective of this investigation was to determine differences in the number of health Complaints of older people according to their living situation with a view to planning more effective health care. The sample consisted of 231 persons over 65 years of age, 60 living in an Old Age Home ana 171 living in their own home in Kwangju. Data were gathered from July 9 to 26, 1983 by nursing students using a Questionnaire which was a modified form of the Cornell Medical Index. The data were categorized according to the subjects, living, sex, educational level, previous occupation, hobbies and sexual activity. The date were analyzed for statistical significant differences using F and X²tests. findings included the following: 1. There was a higher number of health complaints from persons who live in the institution than those living at home, but the difference was not significant. 2. The highest number of health Complaints were from persons who live alone, followed by those living with their daughters, and then by those living in the institution. Persons who live with their sons had the least Complaints. The difference in the number of Complaints accord-ing to with whom they were living was significant. 3. Women had signincantly more Complaints than men. Persons who were not living with their spouses had significantly more complaints than those living with their spouses.4. The higher eductional level the persons had, the less health Complaints they had. The number of Complaints accoraing to educational level was significantly different. 5. The highest number of health complaints were from persons who had involved in Commerce and industry, followed by those in Agriculture. Persons who were civil servant had the least 6. There were more complains from persons who had no hobby than those with hobbies. The complaints. The difference was significant. difference was significant. 7. Persons who said they were sexually inactive had significantly more complaints than those who said they were sexually active. As age increased, sexual activity significantly decreased. Those who lived with their spouse were significantly more sexually active. 8. The highest number of Somatic Complaints were eye fatigue, followed by nocturnal frequency, lumbago, cramps in extremities, vertigo, stiffness in Shoulder, tinnitus, common cold and constipation. The order of Psychic Complaints from higher to lower were anger. sensitivity, anxiety, depression and loneliness. 9. This group of Elderly persons said they valued Health the most, followed by Harmony, Religion, Money and Honor.

SLURP 모형을 이용한 기후, 식생, 토지이용변화가 농업용 저수지유역과 하천유역에 미치는 기여도 평가(I) - 모형의 입력자료 구축 - (Assessment of the Contribution of Weather, Vegetation, Land Use Change for Agricultural Reservoir and Stream Watershed using the SLURP model (I) - Preparation of Input Data for the Model -)

  • 본 연구에서는 기후변화를 평가하기 위해 장기수문유출모형인 SLURP 모형이 선택되었으며, 모형의 적용성을 평가하기 위하여, 고도, 기상, 토지이용, 토양, 식생과 같은 기본 입력 자료를 구축하였고 공도 수위관측소 상류유역을 대상으로 유역 내에 포함되어 있는 농업용 저수지인 고삼과 금광저수지를 고려하기 위하여 저수위, 저수량, 내용적 곡선 자료를 수집하였다. 한편, 미래 기후변화를 분석하기 위해 미래 기상, 토지이용, 식생자료를 구축하였다. 미래 기상자료는 IPCC에서 제시하고 있는 SRES 특별보고서에 의한 GCMs 중 CCCma CGCM2 A2, B2 시나리오 결과자료를 수집한 후, 편이보정(bias correction) 및 CF(Change Factor) 다운스케일 기법을 적용하여 각 기상관측소별 기상자료를 재구축하였으며, 미래 토지이용자료는 과거 토지이용자료를 이용하여 개선된 CA-Markov기법에 의해 전망하였다. 또한 미래 식생자료는 NOAA/AVHRR을 이용하여 구축한 과거의 월 NDVI와 평균온도와의 선형 회귀식을 이용하여 기후변화 시나리오별 월 NDVI를 구축하였다.

불면장애에 대한 혈부축어탕의 체계적 문헌 고찰 및 메타분석 연구 (Herbal Medicine (Hyeolbuchukeo-tang, Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction) for Insomnia Disorder: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials)

  • Objectives: The present study aimed to provide clinical evidence on the effect of herbal medicine, Hyeolbuchukeo-tang or Xuefu Zhuyu decoction for the treatment of primary insomnia using a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Methods: This study included RCTs that verified the effects of Hyeolbuchukeo-tang or Xuefu Zhuyu decoction for the treatment of primary insomnia. Literature searches of English, Chinese and Korean databases were performed, and the selected literature was assessed for investigating the risk of bias. Results: The analysis included 10 RCTs. The Chinese Classification of Mental Disorders-3 was most frequently used to define the diagnostic criteria for Hyeolbuchukeo-tang or Xuefu Zhuyu decoction intervention in patients with primary insomnia. The effective rate was the most commonly used outcome measure. A meta-analysis revealed that the effective rate, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, and the Athens Insomnia Scale in the Modified Xuefu Zhuyu decoction (MXZD) group were higher compared to Western Medicine (WM) group (RR: 1.17, 95% Cl: 1.08 to 1.26, p<0.0001, $I^2$=0/MD: -1.29, 95% Cl: -2.09 to -0.49, p=0.002, $I^2$=0%/MD: -0.99, 95% Cl: -1.81 to -0.18, p=0.02, $I^2$=15%). The effective rate of the MXZD+WM group was significantly different compared to the WM group (RR: 1.28, 95% Cl: 1.11 to 1.47, p=0.0006, $I^2$=2%). The included RCTs were of relatively poor quality and had small sample sizes. Conclusions: Treatment with Hyeolbuchukeo-tang or Xuefu Zhuyu decoction was found to be effective in treating primary insomnia. However, the included RCTs were of relatively poor quality and had small sample sizes. It is hypothesized that this study could serve as a foundation for further clinical studies on the development of diagnosis and treatment methods for primary insomnia based on Korean medicine.

생물보전지수(Index of Biological Integrity)의 신속한 생물평가 기법을 이용한 갑천 수계의 평가 (Rapid Bioassessments of Kap Stream Using the Index of Biological Integrity)

  • 본 연구는 하천 수환경 평가기법의 일환으로 multimetric 접근방식인 생물보전지수(Index of Biological Integrity, IBI)의 적용방법을 도입을 목적으로 하였다. 국내에서 IBI평가를 위해 Karr(1981)가 제시한 12개 메트릭 대신 11개 메트릭을 적용하였으며, 11개 중 5개 메트릭은 국내 수환경 특성에 맞게 변형하여 적용하였다. 본 평가기법의 적용을 위해 선정된 갑천에서 평균 IBI값은 36(범위:17${\sim]$49, n=5)으로서 fair상태를 보였으나, 조사지점 별 상당한 차이를 보였다. 제 1,2,3지점에서 IBI값은 49, 45및 41로서 각 지점별 평가등급은 good${\sim]$excellent, good및 fair상태로 분류된 반면, 제 4지점 및 5지점에서 IBI값은 각각 17및 29로서 very poor및 poor상태로 판명되었다. 제 4지점에서 보인 최소 IBI값은 폐수처리장 배출수의 직접적인 영향 때문으로 사료되었다. 이런 수환경의 질적 악화는 4지점에서 내성종우점(50%), 잡식성종 우세(50%)및 비정상어 출현율 증가(43%)를 가져왔다. 한편, 제4지점으로부터 약 5km하류에 위치한 제5지점에서 IBI값은 4지점에서 비해 뚜렷한 증가를 보였는데, 이는 점 오염원으로부터 멀어지면서 수질의 회복에 따른 IBI값은 증가로서 사료된다. 본 평가 기법은 빠르게 악화되는 수환경의 현 상태를 생물입장에서 파악할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 하천 복원의 경우 목표 설정에 중요한 역할을 하며, 다양한 복원 작업후(예, 점오염원 차단, 하천 하상구조의 복언, 수변식물조성 등)수중 생태계 회복 여부를 판별 할 수 있는 핵심적인 도구로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

배농익기산의 만성전립선염/만성 골반동통 증후군의 치료 효과에 대한 증례 보고 (Effect of Baenong Ickki San on Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome: A Case Series)

  • 목적 본 증례 보고에서는 보중익기탕 가감방인 배농익기산의 만성 전립선염/만성 골반 동통 증후군의 치료효과를 보고한다.방법 본 원(청춘 한의원)에 내원한 만성 전립선염/만성 골반 동통 증후군 11명 환자에게 배농익기산을 처방한 효과적인 증례를 보고한다. 증상의 변화는 미국 국립보건원 만성전립선염 증상 점수표(NIH-CPSI)로 측정하였다.결과 배농익기산 처방 후 NIH-CPSI에서 통계학적으로 유의미한 감소가 나타났다. NIH-CPSI 총점의 평균은 치료 전 37.6±5.8점에서 치료 후 7.5±3.9 점으로 감소하였다(p<0.001). NIH-CPSI 총점은 평균 30.2±7.3 점 감소하였다. 배농익기산 처방 후 NIH-CPSI의 총점, 통증 점수, 배뇨증상 점수, 삶의 질 점수에서 모두 유의미한 감소가 나타났다.결론 배농익기산은 만성 전립선염/만성 골반 동통 증후군을 치료하는 매우 효과적인 한약이다.

호도약침이 견비통에 미치는 임상적 연구 (Clinical Study of the Effects of Juglandis Semen Pharmacopuncture Therapy on Shoulder Pain)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of Juglandis Semen Pharmaco-puncture Therapy on Shoulder Pain. Methods & Results: Clinical studies on shoulder pain were carried out on 34 patients who were treated at Department of Acupuncture & Moxibusition, Samse Oriental Medical Hospital from June to October, 2009. Patients were divided into two groups, i.e. Sample group(Group A) and Control group(Group B). Group B were treated by body acupuncture and cupping therapies while Group A were added juglandis semen pharmacopuncture therapy to therapies of Group A. All patients of both groups were treated three times a week for three weeks. In order to evaluate pain degree, we apply Shoulder Pain and Disability Index(SPADI), Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and the tool developed by Japan's Industrial Hygienics Society and modified by Korean Doctor. Evaluations were done after first week, second week and third week during period of treatment. Results: Both groups showed significant pain decreasing tendencies. But Group A showed more efficiency comparing to Group B. Conclusions: According to the above-mentioned results, it seems that Juglandis Semen pharmacopuncture therapy could be applied as the effective method for reducing shoulder pain.

인공위성과 재분석모델 자료의 다중 증발산 자료를 활용하여 최적 증발산 산정 연구 (Estimation of the optimal evapotranspiration by using satellite- and reanalysis model-based evapotranspiration estimations)

  • 수문순환에서 증발산의 정확한 산정은 수문분석 및 이해에 있어서 매우 중요하다. 특히, 증발산을 산정하는 방법은 다양하며, 각각 방법 마다 장단점을 가지고 있다. 그렇기 때문에, 각 다른 방법으로 산전된 결과를 융합하여 최적의 증발산을 산출해야할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 대표적으로 인공위성 기반의 증발산 모델인 revised RS-PM과 MS-PT 방법에서 산출된 증발산과 모델 자료인 Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS)와 Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model (GLEAM)자료들을 융합함으로써 최적의 증발산을 산출하고자 하였다. 연구 지역인 청미천과 설마천에서의 플럭스 타워에서 융합된 증발산에 대해서 검증을 실시하였다. 통계학적인 결과(상관계수, 일치도, MAE, RMSE)를 확인하였을 때, 기존의 인공위성과 모델에서 산출되는 증발산 결과에 비해 향상되는 결괄르 나타내었다. 전반적으로 결과를 확인하였을 때, 융합된 자료가 보다 향상된 결과를 보일 수 있을 것이라는 것을 나타내었으며, 추후에는 더 많은 모델을 사용하여 융합함으로써 보다 정확한 결과를 산출 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
