  • The impacts of dams on transboundary flow are complex and challenging to project and manage, given the potential moderating influence of a broad range of anthropogenic and natural factors. This study presents a global meta-analysis of 168 studies that examines the effect magnitude of dams on downstream seasonal, annual flow, and hydrological extremes risk on 39 hotspot transboundary river basins. The study also evaluates the impact of 13 factors, such as climate, basin characteristics, dams' design and types, level of transboundary cooperation, and socioeconomic indicators, on the heterogeneity of outcomes. The findings reveal that moderators significantly influence the impact of dams on downstream flow, leading to considerable heterogeneity in outcomes. Transboundary cooperation emerges as the key factor that determines the severity of dams' effect on both dry and wet season's flows at a significance level of 0.01 to 0.05, respectively. Specifically, the presence of water-supply and irrigation dams has a significant (0.01) moderating effect on dry-season flow across basins with high transboundary cooperation. In contrast, for wet-season flow, the basin's vulnerability to climate extremes is associated with a large negative effect size. The various moderators have varying degrees of influence on the heterogeneity of outcomes, with the aridity index, population density, GDP, and risk level of hydro-political tension being the most significant factors for dry-season flow, and the risk level of hydro-political tension and basin vulnerability to climate extremes being the most significant for wet-season flow. The results suggest that transboundary cooperation is crucial for managing the impacts of dams on downstream flow, and that various other factors, such as climate, basin characteristics, and socioeconomic indicators, have significant moderating effects on the outcomes. Thus, context-specific approaches are necessary when predicting and managing the impacts of dams on transboundary flow.

  • This study examined the moderating role of self-control and emotion regulation in the relationship between academic stress and mental health among Korean adolescents. The Korean Youth Panel Study (KYPS) was used as sample data with a total of 3121 $11^{th}$ grade students involved in this study. Hierarchical multiple regression was applied to test the moderation model following Baron & Kenny's (1986) model. Results revealed that self-control (for male adolescents) and emotion regulation (for female adolescents) played the role of moderators in the relationship between academic stress and mental health problems. Academic stress proved to have a negative effect on mental health of adolescents.

  • This study explored moderating effects of parental attachment andparental monitoring in the relationship between stress and problem behavior among Korean adolescents. The Korean Youth Panel Study (KYPS) was used as sample data with a total of 2,503 11th grade students involved in this study. Results of hierarchical regression analyses showed that parental attachment (for both male and female adolescents) and parental monitoring (for male adolescents) played the role of moderators in the relationship between stress and problem behavior. That is, good parental attachment and monitoring reduced stress inducing problem behavior for male adolescents but only parental attachment reduced stress inducing problem behavior for female adolescents. Conclusions highlighted the importance of parents' role in the prevention of adolescent problem behavior.

  • Organizations have attempted to develop Knowledge Management Systems for achieving competitive advantage by effectively managing organizational knowledge. However, if Knowledge Management Systems are not user-oriented, organizations may not attain desired goals. That is, it must be utilized and accepted by organizational members to be successful systems. This study proposes an extended Technology Acceptance Model and empirically validates it. For that purpose, a research model is set UP that consists of antecedent variables, perception moderators, and intention to use the system. Empirical data analysis found significant relationships among research variables, as suggested in research hypotheses. The results of the analysis indicated that perceived usefulness, ease of use, job relevance and information quality should be considered as important factors in designing Knowledge Management Systems. In addition, perceived value, incentive, affect, self-efficacy, and image were found to influence the perception of users in the usage situation.

  • This study explored the influence of two types of conflict(task and relationship conflict) on group creativity and tested this model with a sample of 58 teams. Relationship conflict negatively influenced group creativity but, task conflict did not show the effects on group creativity. Specifically we found the moderating effects of supportive leadership and communication. Supportive leadership style moderated positively both task conflict and relationship conflict on group creativity. But controlling leadership styled moderated negatively relationship conflict and group creativity. Finally the relationship between task conflict and group creativity was moderated by communication. Overall, we suggest conflict is one of the important group process to boost group creativity and supportive leadership and communication are the important moderators to manage conflict successfully and effectively.

  • This study examined relationships between the stress of families with autistic children, the social adaptation of autistic children and whether this relationship is moderated by family resilience and social support. The subjects were mothers of autistic children attending a special school for children with autistic disorder. Survey tools measured family stress, social support, and social adaptation. Family Resilience was measured by family hardiness, family coherence, family communication, problem-solving, and management strategy. Results showed that higher degree of family stress resulted in lower degree of adaptation in families of autistic children. The effectiveness of family resilience and social support as moderators between family stress and adaptation of families with autistic children was confirmed.

  • The present research investigated gender-specific response strategies for dealing with peer victimization of preadolescents. Furthermore, coping strategies were explored as moderators of the link between peer victimization and internalizing problems. The participants were 466 preadolescents. Peer victimization, coping strategies, and internalizing problems were assessed through self-report questionnaires. Results showed that girls had significantly higher scores on help seeking, avoidant strategies, and ruminative strategies than boys. In addition, use of avoidant coping and seeking help minimized the effects of peer victimization on internalizing problems in girls. Ruminative coping exacerbated the influence of peer victimization on internalizing problems for both boys and girls.

  • Graphite can be classified into natural graphite from mines and artificial graphite. Due to its outstanding properties such as light weight, thermal resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, chemical stability, and high-temperature strength, artificial graphite is used across various industries in powder form and bulk form. Artificial graphite of powder form is usually used as anode materials for secondary cells, while artificial graphite of bulk form is used in steelmaking electrode bars, nuclear reactor moderators, silicon ingots for semiconductors, and manufacturing equipment. This study defines artificial graphite as bulk graphite, and provides an overview of bulk graphite manufacturing, including isotropic and anisotropic materials, molding methods, and heat treatment.

  • As information systems are introduced in organizations, user attitudes toward IS are crucial factors for the success of such systems. Hence, understanding what affects user attitudes should be a major concern in MIS research. The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of social influence on IS adoption. Social influence construct is stretched to include four items: subject norm, image, visibility, and voluntariness. Also, this paper examines the roles of two moderators regarding social influence: user characteristics and IT maturity. We could find that 1) social influence has a significant impact on perceived usefulness(PU), perceived ease of use(PEU), and intention, 2) the social influence on PU is more noticeable for knowledge worker than for undergraduate student, and 3) social influence on knowledge worker's PU is stronger for emerging IT(e.g., wireless internet services) than for mature IT(e.g., spreadsheet software).

  • The aim of this study was to perform a meta-analysis of the learning outcomes of immersive learning technologies in English language teaching (ELT). This study examined 12 articles, yielding a total of 20 effect sizes. The Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) program was employed for data analysis. The findings revealed that the overall effect size was 0.84, implying a large effect size. Additionally, the mean effect sizes of the dependent variables revealed a large effect size for both the cognitive and affective domains. Furthermore, the study analyzed the impact of moderator variables such as sample scale, technology type, tool type, work type, program type, duration (sessions), the degree of immersion, instructional technique, and augmented reality (AR) type. Among the moderators, the degree of immersion was found to be statistically significant. In conclusion, the study results suggested that immersive learning technologies had a positive impact on learning in ELT.
