High Resistivity SOI RF CMOS 대칭형 인덕터 모델링을 위한 개선된 Optimization 방법 연구 (A Study on Improved Optimization Method for Modeling High Resistivity SOI RF CMOS Symmetric Inductor)

  • High resistivity(HR) silicon-on-insulator(SOI) RF CMOS 공정 인덕터의 모델 파라미터를 정확히 결정하기 위하여 직접추출과 simultaneous optimization을 사용한 개선된 방법을 개발하였다. 먼저, 대칭형 인덕터와 센터탭이 접지된 대칭형 인덕터 등가회로들의 Y 및 Z-파라미터 방정식 유도를 통해 일부 모델 파라미터들을 직접 추출하고, 병렬 저항과 전체 인덕턴스 방정식들로 미지 변수들을 줄여 모델링 정확도를 향상시켰다. 또한, 두 등가회로의 동일한 모델 파라미터들을 공통 변수로 두고 S-파라미터 데이터 세트를 동시에 optimization함으로써 optimization 정확도를 크게 향상시켰다.

담수렌즈 수리모형을 이용한 담수-염수 경계면 수치모델의 검정 (Validation of Fresh-Saltwater Sharp-Interface Model Using Freshwater Lens Hydraulic Experiment)

  • 해안지역의 지하수 개발 및 관리를 위하여 해안지하수 최적모델이 개발되었다. 최적모델은 해안지하수 흐름 모델과 최적화 기법으로 구성된다. 본 논문은 최적모델의 중요 구성요소인 경계면 수치모델을 검정하는 것이 목적이다. 염수체 위에 담수체가 부양하는 현상인 담수렌즈를 실험하기 위하여 실험실 수리모형이 제작되었다. 담수-염수 경계면 위치와 관정에서의 염분 농도의 실험 결과 값들이 수치모델의 결과 값들과 비교되었다. 경계면의 위치는 평균 상대오차율은 2.91%~4.39%로써 결과 값들이 잘 일치하였다. 관정에서의 염분 농도에 대한 비교 결과 또한 적절한 값을 나타내었다. 따라서 경계면 수치모델에 의한 해안지하수 흐름 거동 평가는 적절한 결과 값을 도출할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

강우-유출모형의 매개변수 보정을 위한 최적화 기법의 비교분석 (The Comparative Analysis of Optimization Methods for the Parameter Calibration of Rainfall-Runoff Models)

  • The conceptual rainfall-runoff models are used to predict complex hydrological effects of a basin. However, to obtain reliable results, there are some difficulties and problems in choosing optimum model, calibrating, and verifying the chosen model suitable for hydrological characteristics of the basin. In this study, Genetic Algorithm and SCE-UA method as global optimization methods were applied to compare the each optimization technique and to analyze the application for the rainfall-runoff models. Modified TANK model that is used to calculate outflow for watershed management and reservoir operation etc. was optimized as a long term rainfall-runoff model. And storage-function model that is used to predict real-time flood using historical data was optimized as a short term rainfall-runoff model. The optimized models were applied to simulate runoff on Pyeongchang-river watershed and Bocheong-stream watershed in 2001 and 2002. In the historical data study, the Genetic Algorithm and the SCE-UA method showed consistently good results considering statistical values compared with observed data.

다중최적화기법을 이용한 분포형 수문모형의 최적화 (An Optimization of distributed Hydrologic Model using Multi-Objective Optimization Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 다중최적화기법을 이용하여 2가지 수문학적 과정을 통하여 유출량을 산정하는 수문모형의 모형 최적화를 시도하였으며, 수문모형으로는 융설량과 유출량을 동시에 산정할 수 있는 분포형 수문모형인 HL-RDHM을 이용하였다. 대상유역으로는 융설량 자료를 수집할 수 있는 미국 콜로라도의 Durango River 유역을 선정하였다. 다중최적화기법으로는 MOSCEM을 활용하였으며, 융설과 관련된 매개변수 5개와 유출에 관련된 매개변수 13개를 선정하여 매개변수 보정과 수문모형 최적화를 시도하였다. 모형 최적화를 위해 2004 - 2005년의 자료가 활용되었고, 2001 - 2004년 자료를 이용하여 검증하였다. 융설량과 유출량을 동시에 최적화함으로써 RMSE 기준으로, 3개의 SNOTEL 지점에서 초기해에 의한 모의치 보다 7% - 40%까지 RMSE 오차를 줄일 수 있었고, 유출구의 USGS 관측점에서 초기해에 비해 약 40% 값이 개선됨을 확인하였다.

단일 실행의 빠른 근사해 기법과 반복 실행의 최적화 기법을 이용한 이산형 시스템의 시뮬레이션 연구 (Simulation Study of Discrete Event Systems using Fast Approximation Method of Single Run and Optimization Method of Multiple Run)

  • This paper deals with a discrete simulation optimization method for designing a complex probabilistic discrete event simulation. The developed algorithm uses the configuration algorithm that can change decision variables and the stopping algorithm that can end simulation in order to satisfy the given objective value during single run. It tries to estimate an auto-regressive model for evaluating correctly the objective function obtained by a small amount of output data. We apply the proposed algorithm to M/M/s model, (s, S) inventory model, and known-function problem. The proposed algorithm can't always guarantee the optimal solution but the method gives an approximate feasible solution in a relatively short time period. We, therefore, show the proposed algorithm can be used as an initial feasible solution of existing optimization methods that need multiple simulation run to search an optimal solution.

  • Based on social welfare maximum theory, the optimal scale of power plants entering generation power market being is researched. A static non-cooperative game model for short-term optimization of power plants with different cost is presented. And the equilibrium solutions and the total social welfare are obtained. According to principle of maximum social welfare selection, the optimization model is solved, optimal number of power plants entering the market is determined. The optimization results can not only increase the customer surplus and improve power production efficiency, but also sustain normal profits of power plants and scale economy of power production, and the waste of resource can also be avoided. At last, case results show that the proposed model is efficient.

크리깅 메타모델에 의한 철도차량 현수장치 최적설계 (Optimization of a Train Suspension using Kriging Meta-model)

  • In recent engineering, the designer has become more and more dependent on the computer simulations such as FEM (Finite Element Method) and BEM (Boundary Element Method). In order to optimize such implicit models more efficiently and reliably, the meta-modeling technique has been developed for solving such a complex problems combined with the DACE (Design and Analysis of Computer Experiments). It is widely used for exploring the engineer's design space and for building meta-models in order to facilitate an effective solution of multi-objective and multi-disciplinary optimization problems. Optimization of a train suspension is performed according to the minimization of forty-six responses that represent ten ride comforts, twelve derailment quotients, twelve unloading ratios, and twelve stabilities by using the Kriging meta-model of a train suspension. After each Kriging meta-model is constructed, multi-objective optimal solutions are achieved by using a nonlinear programming method called SQP (Sequential Quadratic Programming).

  • Tidal power station is using the difference of the ebb and flow and the single action tidal power is dependent on tide amplitude and basin volume. Therefore the inflow of basin in rainy season has also effect on the daily power. Also if operating units are changed then starting head too changed. Therefore the number of units are very important for the optimization model. According to our study the primary point when we make a determination of optimization is starting head and governorl control mode. On this study optimization model for tidal power station is considered all of this conditions.

  • The procedure to design the engine mount is briefly discussed and the optimum shape design process of engine mounting rubber using a parametric approach is suggested. An optimization code is developed to determine the shape to meet the stiffness requirements of engine mounts, coupled with the commercial nonlinear finite element program ABAQUS. A bush type engine mount used in a current passenger car is chosen for an application model. The shape from the result of the parameter optimization is determined as a final model with some modifications. The shape and stiffness of each optimization stage are shown and the stiffness of the optimized model along the principal direction is compared with the design specification of the current model. Finally, an overview of the current status and future works for the engine mount design are discussed.

  • Scoliosis is a complex musculoskeletal dieses requiring 3-D treatment with surgical instrumentation. Conventional corrective surgery for scoliosis was done based on empirical knowledge without information of the optimum position and operative procedure. Frequently, post operative change of rib hump increase and shoulder level imbalance caused serious problems in the view of cosmetics. To investigate the effect of correction surgery, a reconstructed 3-D finite element model for King-Moe type V was developed. Vertebrae, clavicle and other bony element were represented using rigid bodies. Kinematic joints and nonlinear bar elements used to represent the intervertebral disc and ligaments according to reported experimental data. With this model, optimization technique was also applied in order to define the optimal magnitudes of correction. The optimization procedure corrected the scoliotic deformities by reducing the objective function by more than 94%. with an associated reduction of the scoliotic descriptors mainly on the frontal thoracic curve.
