초음파 진동선삭에서의 절삭 및 진동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cutting and Vibration Characteristic of Ultrasonic Vibration Cutting)

  • In this study, ultransonic vibration cutting system was contructed by installing throw-away-tool tip (KT 350) by screw lock on the bending vibration mode in free-free beam. During the conventional cutting and ultransonic conventional cutting of SM45C, variations of cutting force, roughness and acceleration were measured. The results were compared and analyzed in detail, and it was found that the ultransonic vibration cutting was more effective in reducing cutting force compareed with the conventional cutting .

  • This paper describes the mean time delay and its variance before transition from search to lock mode by means of signal flow graph and its transfer function. A relation between hit probability and search stage number is presented with the comparison of the open loop and closed loop. From these results optimum transition probability which we must hold can be obtained.

  • This study is to develop and evaluate an AFS and an ARS controllers to enhance lateral stability of a vehicle. A sliding mode control (SMC) and a fuzzy logic control (FLC) methods are applied to calculate the desired additional steering angle of AFS equipped vehicle or desired rear steer angle of ARS equipped vehicle. To validate AFS and ARS systems, an eight degree of freedom, nonlinear vehicle model and an ABS controllers are also used. Several road conditions are used to test the performances. The results showed that the yaw rate of the AFS and the ARS vehicle followed the reference yaw rate very well within the adhesion limit. However, the AFS improves the lateral stability near the limit compared with the ARS. Because the SMC and the FLC show similar vehicle responses, performance discrimination is small. On split-${\mu}$ road, the AFS and the ARS vehicle had enhanced the lateral stability.

  • The brakes are the most important safety-critical accident avoidance components of a motor vehicle. They must perform safely under a variety of operating conditions and must have enough strength not to fail during the life of a vehicle. Recently, anti-lock brake systems are used on more and more passenger cars. The ABS brakes modulate brake line pressure to prevent brakes from locking during braking. In this study, finite element analysis, material test for FCD45, measurement of stress and cumulative fatigue damage analysis were performed to evaluate fatigue damage of the caliper housing under ABS mode.

  • The surface potential variations are measured, according to the enhanced measuring speed and voltage sensitivity, using an active device, such as a field effect transistor $(FET)^{1-3}$. In this study, the surface potential was mapped in the patterned $SiO_2$ medium at room temperature. An improved FET-tip cantilever, which has a source, a drain, and an n- channel, was used in this study. The potential images were analyzed both in the contact mode and the non-contact mode, using only a pre-amplifier system instead of a lock-in the amplifier.

900MHz UHF대역 RFID 응용을 위한 Integer-N PLL주파수 합성기 설계 (An Integer-N PLL Frequency Synthesizer Design for The 900MHz UHF RFID Application)

  • 본 논문은 전하펌프와 클록트리거 회로를 사용하는 프리스케일러가 포함된 UHF RFID 응용을 위한 900MHz Integer-N 방식의 주파수 합성기를 소개한다. 쿼드러처 출력이 가능한 전압제어발진기와 프리스케일러, 위상주파수검출기와 전하펌프 및 아날로그 고정 검출기는 0.35-${\mu}m$ CMOS 공정으로 설계되었다. 주파수 분주기는 verilog-HDL 모듈을 통해 설계되었으며 mixed-mode 시뮬레이션을 통해 디자인을 검증하였다. 전압제어발진기의 동작 주파수영역은 828MHz에서 960MHz이고 위상이 90도 차이나는 쿼드러처 신호를 출력한다. 시뮬레이션 결과로 위상잡음은 100KHz offset 주파수에서 -102dBc/Hz 이었으며, 고착시간은 896MHz에서 928MHz까지 32MHz step을 천이할 때 4us이다.

  • 철도차량 대차의 건전성 평가를 위해 위상잠금 열화상 기술이 이용되었다. 실제 대차의 건전성 평가전에 인공결함을 함유한 실제 대차와 동일한 재질의 시험편으로 교정을 실시하였으며, 이러한 결함에 대한 정보를 바탕으로 실제 철도차량 대차의 결함 평가를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 대차결함의 검출을 위한 비파괴평가 기술로써 위상잠금 열화상 기술의 적용성을 탐구하였으며, 열화상법에 의한 결함 평가 결과와 다른 비파괴평가 결과와의 비교 결과를 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 비접촉, 빠른 결과 처리 등의 장점을 지닌 위상잠금 적외선 열화상 기술이 기존의 대차 결함 평가를 위한 방법을 대체할 수 있는 효율적인 기술임을 알 수 있었다.

Pseudo-Correlation-Function Based Unambiguous Tracking Technique for CBOC (6,1,1/11) Signals

  • Binary Offset Carrier (BOC) signal planned for future Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) provided better positioning accuracy and smaller multipath error than GPS C/A signal. However, due to the multiple side peaks in the auto-correlation function (ACF) of the BOC modulated signals, a receiver may false lock onto one of the side peaks in the tracking mode. This false lock would then result in a fatal tracking error. In this paper, we propose an unambiguous tracking method for composite BOC (CBOC) signals to mitigate this problem. It aims to reduce the side peaks of the ACF of CBOC modulated signals. It is based on the combination of traditional CBOC correlation function (CF) and reference CF of unmodulated pseudo- random noise code (PRN code). First, we present that cross-correlation function (CCF) with unmodulated PRN code is close to the secondary peaks of the traditional CBOC. Then, we obtain an unambiguous correlation function by subtracting traditional CBOC ACF from these CFs. Finally, the tracking performance for the CBOC signals is examined, and it is shown that the proposed method has better performance than the traditional unambiguous tracking method in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel.

무선 LAN 시스템에서 CCK 변조방식의 클럭 동기 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis on Clock Sychronization of CCK Modulation Scheme in Wireless LAN System)

  • 본 논문에서는 2.4 GHz대역에서 54 MbPs 고속 데이터 전송이 가능한 IEEE 802.11g 무선 LAN 시스템에서 사용되는 변조 방식인 CCK(Complementary Code Keying)의 클럭 동기에 대해서 연구했다. 수신단에서는 잡음 또는 페이딩에 의해 클럭 주파수 오차가 발생한다. 이 주파수 오차는 클럭 타이밍 오프셋을 발생시켜 ISI(InterSymbol Intorference)의 원인이 된다. 그러므로 클럭 타이밍 오프셋을 줄이기 위해서는 트렉킹이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 클럭 트렉킹을 위해 비동기 방식인 DLL(Delay Lock Loop)방식을 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. AWCN 환경과 실외 다중경로 페이딩 채널환경에 대한 지터 분산과 이에 따른 BER 성능을 비교한다.

  • This paper presents the principle, dynamics modeling and control, hardware implementation, and flight test result of a hybrid-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The proposed UAV was designed to provide both hovering and fixed-wing type aerodynamic flight modes. The UAV's flight mode transition was achieved through the attitude transformation in pitch axis, which avoids a complex rotor tilt mechanism from a structural and control viewpoint. To achieve this, a different navigation coordinate was introduced that avoids the gimbal lock in pitch singularity point. Attitude and guidance control algorithms were developed for the flight control system. For flight test purposes, a quadrotor attached with a tailless fixed-wing structure was manufactured. An onboard flight control computer was designed to realize the navigation and control algorithms and the UAV's performance was verified through the outdoor flight tests.
