  • Mobile devices such as cellular phones and PDA become a part of our life by extreme improvement of Wireless internet and arriving the age of Ubiquitous. Especially it makes increasing rapidly the expectations about a field of remote control that is great advantage of Mobile devices. Existing computer remote control systems are hard to meet user's appropriate manage when error happened because Clients could not recognize the state of several remote controlled computers which connected to web server. This paper Implementation remote computer control system that immediately after errors happen by send error massages in the from of a SMS to client by set the clients with cellular phone that most generally used Mobile devices.

A Study on the Diffusion Pattern of Mongolian Mobile Market (몽골 이동통신 시장의 확산 패턴 연구)

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze the diffusion pattern of the Mongolian mobile phone market. In particular, we used a generalized diffusion model to explore the factors affecting market potenial. Methods: We used three diffusion models to estimate the number of mobile subscribers in Mongolia. Based on the Logistic model with the best fitness, we introduced time-varying market potential and explored the influence of various independent variables such as GDP and inflation. Results: Among the basic diffusion models, the Logistic model was the best in terms of estimation performance and statistical significance. The estimation results of the Generalized Logistic model confirm that investment in the telecommunication sector has a significant positive effect on market potential. The estimation of the Generalized Logistic model effectively describes the continuous growth of the Mongolian telecommunications market until recently. Conclusion: We have analyzed the diffusion pattern of the Mongolian telecommunications market and found that the amount of investment in the sector leads to the growth of the market size. This study is original in terms of its subject - Mongolian telecommunications market and methodology - time-varying market potential.

  • Recently, because the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution era, many information and telecommunication services have grown rapidly in the mobile business market. So, companies are based Mobile Apps on user customized services and expanding their services. From the standpoint of the business, to generate revenue, the company needs to maintain the existing current computer environment and develop Mobile Apps to offer convenience in various areas such as finance, admiration, e-commerce and sales support. However, as the number of users increase due to expansion of various Mobile services, security threats that are related to Mobile Apps are increasing and its damage is also increasing. Due to the rapid technological transformation of Mobile devices using the Internet, the level of security threats to Smartphones are rising and getting more advance, so this thesis is structured as follows. In Chapter 2, it will look at the overall trends of Mobile Apps as related research. In Chapter 3, it will discuss various security concerns that related to the latest Mobile Apps and learn about the threatening factors. In Chapter 4, it will compare and analyze the threatening factors. Then it will find and suggest the possible plan. In Chapter 5, it will end with conclusion. Finally, to protect mobile devices from security threats, the environment of operating system which manages the resources and data of Apps needs to be protected. Also, it is important that users to have awareness and check activation FinTech technology security in the process of simple payment with fingerprint or IC card.

  • Vital sign monitoring system using IEEE 502.IS.4 based wireless sensor network(WSN) is designed and developed on mobile environment and sensor node platform. WSN and CDMA are integrated to create a wide coverage to support various environments like inside and outside. We developed query processor to use selective any devices(ECG, Blood pressure and sugar module) and control of the self-organizing network of sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network. Vital sign from wireless medical any devices are analysed in cell phone first for real time signal analyses and the abnormal vital signs are sent and save to hospital server for detail signal processing. wireless signal traffic in wireless sensor network environment or data communication inside the cell phone is reduced.

  • The development of mobile phone is growing fast in the all over the world. Besides the basic voice communication, many multimedia services and global roaming service are capable in the 3rd generation mobile telecommunication. Because mobile phone has been the essential tool to communicate, the protection of privacy and the safe transmission are critical ones. In synchronous, asynchronous mode IMT2000 service, the mechanism of mutual authentication and generation of cipher key and integrity key are implemented in smart card chip called UIM, USIM. In this paper, we describe the authentication mechanism of 3GPP and 3CPP2 and its implementation results. Then, we specify a few problems which are not defined in standard.

  • This paper presents the design of a video encoder for the device of need TV-OUT function. The designed video encoder satisfies the standard conditions of International Telecommunication Union-Radiocommunication (ITU-R) BT.470. ITU-R BT.470 can be classified as NTSC, PAL or SECAM. NTSC and PAL use Amplitude Modulation (AM) to transmit color difference signals and SECAM uses Frequency Modulation (FM). SECAM must have an antic-cloche filter but the filter recommended by ITU-R BT.470 is not easy to design due to sharpness of the frequency response. So formerly the filter was designed as analog. This paper proposes that the filter is designed as digital and the special quality of the filter is transformed easy to design. And the modulation method is modified to be identical with the result required at standard. The encoder can control power consumption by output mode to apply mobile phone, mobile devices, etc. The proposed encoder is experimentally demonstrated with ALTERA FPGA APEX20KE EP20K1000EBC652-3 device and SAMSUNG LCD-TV.

  • Cellular phones have been popularized and some of them even have access to the Internet. But the utilization of mobile phones has not been for education but only focused on particular services due to the text-based low capacity. This thesis proposes a multimedia education system using cell phones with SMIL. We can decrease the size of the parser and refute the resources of CPU by designing SMIL tag only, which is needed for multimedia education. In addition, the macro method for producing information for lectures will make possible decreased transmission quantity of multimedia contents and increased transmission efficiency. This will lead to overcoming the matter of insufficient CPU and memory, which is common to most mobile phone terminals.

  • Telematics, which is a compound word of a telecommunication and informatics, provides drivers with useful driving information such as driving path guidance, accident or robbery detection, traffic conditions and other valuable data at real time. This paper proposes and implements how to build a telematics terminal equipped with CDMA and GPS running embedded Linux, to check a vehicle's state through communication between telematics server and vehicle terminals using a cellular phone and to control a vehicle using SMS as shown in Figure 1. In order to do this, we use the SK-VM platform which is mobile terminal platform based on JAVA to design, implement and evaluate it.

  • Opened on November 2008, as the public exhibition center of a telecommunication company, T.um is dedicated for delivering the future ubiquitous technologies and business vision of the company leading domestic mobile communication business to the global expected clients and business partners. Since the public opening, not only over 18,000 audiences in 112 nations have been visiting T.um, but also the public media have been releasing news regarding the ubiquitous museum constantly. By the reasons, T.um is regarded as a successful case for public exhibition centers. The most distinguished quality of the museum is established by the Location Based Service technology in the initial construction stage. A visitor in anyplace of T.um can be detected by digital devices equipped GPS systems. The LBS system in T.um allows visitors to get the information of relevant technologies as well as the process of how to operating each content at his own spots by smart phone of which wireless network systems make it possible. This study is focusing on analyzing and defining the T.um special qualities in terms of technologies to provide the basic data for following exhibition space projects based on LBS. The special method of experiencing contents can be designed by utilizing the network system applied to T.um in the planning stage.
