Mobile Implementation of Enhanced Dynamic Signature Verification for the Smart-phone (스마트폰용 동적 서명인증의 모바일 구현)

  • We propose a new enhanced graphical user interface and algorithm for dynamic signature verification using Smart-phone. Also, we describe the performance results of our dynamic signature verification system, which determine the authentication of signatures by comparing and analyzing various dynamic data shape of the signature, writing speed, slant of shape, and the order and number of strokes for personal signatures using an electronic pen, expecting the system to be understood and utilized widely in the industrial field.

A Study on Intelligent Jobs Information Recommendation Algorithm for a Mobile Environment (모바일 환경을 위한 지능형 일자리 정보 추천 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • As ubiquitous technology develops, there are many studies to provide various contents proper to users through a mobile device. However, there is a limit of information provision due to a small user interface of a mobile device. This study proposes a system that can solve a problem and provide an intelligent agent model appropriate to a mobile environment and job information positively that an individual user is interested. It is composed of a personalization engine to monitor users' behavior patterns and a learning algorithm to provide information to a mobile device. Analysis shows that preferred job items are different by sex, age and education, while a region affects job searching significantly.

  • For the active communication between school and the parents, this paper proposes the educational information delivery system running on the wireless internet using a cellular phone as well as on the existing wired internet using a PC. First, we have performed the survey on what kind of educational information the parents of the students want. The participated parents are 135 parents of the students in elementary, middle, high, and vocational high schools in Seoul. According to the result of this survey and the analysis on the operational mobile and educational sites, the educational information for parents, and the user interface of a cellular phone for the convenient access of mobile information are designed. Also, this mobile educational information system uses SMS for the parents to access the educational information easily.

  • Personal mobile devices such as mobile phone, PMP and MP3 player have advanced incredibly. Such advance in mobile technology ignites the research related to the life-log to understand the daily life of an user. Since life-log collected by mobile sensors can aid memory of the user, many researches have been conducted. This paper suggests a methodology for user-context recognition and visualization based on the outdoor location by GPS as well as indoor location by wireless-lan. When the GPS sensor does not work well in an indoor location, wireless-lan plays a major role in recognizing the location of an user so that the recognition of user-context become more accurate. In this paper, we have also developed the method for visualization of the life-log based on map and blog interfaces. In the experiments, subjects have collected real data with mobile devices and we have evaluated the performance of the proposed visualization and context recognition method based on the data.

  • In this paper we investigate the factors influencing the purchase intention of Smart-Phone which was introduced recently. Smart-Phone is a new information technology that converges PDA into a mobile phone. It has a various functions such as phone, information processing, Internet search etc. New information technology like Smart-Phone gives us a very important and interesting research issue, which is to find and prove the factors influencing the purchase intention. We try to find and prove the factors influencing the purchase intention of Smart-Phone by expanding Technology Acceptance Model. We include the perceived playfulness to the research model in order to analyze the factors. This empirical paper proves that the perceived usefulness, the perceived ease-of-use, and the perceived playfulness give positive effects to the purchase intention. In addition, this paper indicates some managerial implications that various and useful applications and the easy user interface can help to increase the degree of user acceptance.

CRM using short range location based technology

  • In this paper, we propose the CRM service model for analyzing and managing location based data collected by Wi-Fi and BLE. As mobile devices became personalized, enterprises became interested in individual location, and location based mobile marketing started to stand on spotlight. Location based proximity marketing is developing along with contactless data transmission technology, and payment system that uses NFC, Beacon that utilizes BLE, as well as advertisement via Wi-Fi are being serviced. We suggest the model that mobile devices can be detected and identified by MAC address with the need of being connected to Wi-FI or Bluetooth interface. MAC addresses are not associated with any specific user account or mobile phone number. The idea is to be able to measure the amount of people which are present in a certain point at a specific time, allowing the study of the evolution of data analysis and offers effective information for decision-makings.

  • As the function of digital products gets diverse and complex, more than 30~40% job of software developing and testing group within its development cycle, concentrates on the software testing[1]. To cope with consumers'quickly changing needs, development cycle time gets short, and the number of model and test items increase steadily This is why automating software basic function and UI(User Interface) verification is needed [4][5][6]. This paper draws many strength and weakness defines Input/Output through integrating mobile phone, DVDP, PDA, and Black-Box (Intrusive (mobile) or Non-Intrusive(DVDP, PDA)) testing systematically, which brought above the 64% average of automation rate, and ensure 80% of test coverage [4][5][6].

  • Asthma requires continuous long-term management with at least 5% outcome of general population as well as being the second cause of death and disability after cancer. The present study developed an efficient self management system based on the commercial mobile phone network. The spirometric test results are input to the mobile phone through the communication line connected to the portable spirometer. The doctor or the care-giver can search, identify, and review the data accumulated daily by the patient, and feedback to the patient necessary recommendations by short message and color mail services. Patient can also send an emergency call to the doctor and/or the care-giver. User interface was designed as convenient as possible for maximum efficiency of these operations. The present system provides a desired remote medical services, thus would enhance health management of chronic diseased patients.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of the smart phone camera on the company's employees or employees of partner companies, we want to block things in advance. In this paper, we propose a smart phone camera control system which is connected with the personnel access right which enables to share the photographed image of the authorized user and the data shot only within the enterprise. To this end, we have developed the installation status of smart phone control program (MCS: Mobile Camera Control System) of employees, employees and visitors of company, and experimented and analyzed whether the smart phone control program installed in the authorized area. In addition, when visitors visited the company, the effect of prevention of photograph shooting through smart phone camera and the cost of seal sticker attached to the smart phone camera lens part were reduced.
