Empirical Study on Strategies for Successful Mobile Contents Services (모바일콘텐츠 서비스의 성공전략에 관한 실증 연구)

  • Mobile contents mean all contents that could be served by mobile terminals. The mobile contents are categorized by three areas, which are communication, information and entertainment. Since the various mobile contents have own characteristics, there are differentiations among the service success factors according to types of the contents. In this paper, we do not only derive important factors that influence success of mobile contents services, but also analyze how the factors influence the success of mobile services. We also analyze whether measures of the factors might differ significantly among the types of mobile contents services.

Use of Mobile Devices in the Performance of Group Decision-Making under Contextual Pressure

  • Mobile technology appears promising as a method to promote group performance in circumstances dependent on time, but not member proximity. However, the success of mobile technology in group decision-making situations has not yet been proven. This paper aims to see how mobile technology affects the performance of group decision-making tasks that should be resolved urgently and/or sources of idea are disconnected with on-line network. Laboratory experiment was used to investigate the effects of mobile factors on group decision-making. The results from the experiment supported the proposition that pressures of time and location play a significant role in the assessment of group decision performance measures. We found that the adoption of mobile technology to group decision-making procedures might be competitive when group decision-making tasks are urgent and sources of idea are disconnected with on-line network, even though mobile technology is not a panacea on which to depend when designing group decision-making.

An Automatic and Scalable Application Crawler for Large-Scale Mobile Internet Content Retrieval

  • The mobile internet has grown ubiquitous across the globe with the widespread use of smart devices. However, the designs of modern mobile operating systems and their applications limit content retrieval with mobile applications. The mobile internet is not as accessible as the traditional web, having more man-made restrictions and lacking a unified approach for crawling and content retrieval. In this study, we propose an automatic and scalable mobile application content crawler, which can recognize the interaction paths of mobile applications, representing them as interaction graphs and automatically collecting content according to the graphs in a parallel manner. The crawler was verified by retrieving content from 50 non-game applications from the Google Play Store using the Android platform. The experiment showed the efficiency and scalability potential of our crawler for large-scale mobile internet content retrieval.

  • IP서브넷과 매체간의 이동성을 제공하기 위해서 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) Mobile IP WG(Working Group)에서 Mobile IP가 제안되었다. 현재 Mobile IP WG의 활동 방향은 그 동안의 Mobile IP가 특별히 지원을 하지 않던 무선 환경을 수용하는 쪽으로 초점이 맞추어 지고 있다. 특히 무선 환경에서는 무선 대역 및 전원 자원의 효율적인 활용이 커다란 이슈가 되며 이를 위해서는 이동 노드의 이동성 관리 상태의 지원이 하나의 해결책이 될 수 있다. 본 논문은 이동 호스트의 무선상에서의 대역 및 전원 자원의 효율적인 활용을 위한 이동성 관리 상태를 자원하기 위하여 Mobile IP를 활용한 페이징 기법을 제시한다. 제시하는 방법은 이동성 관리 상태를 정의하여 이동 노드의 관리 상태를 차별화하며 제어에 따르는 비용을 감소시켜 자원을 낭비를 줄인다. 특히 페이징 및 페이징 영역 관리를 위한 제어 메시지를 Mobile IP메시지를 수정하여 제시하게 되는데 수정된 Mobile IP를 활용한 페이징 제어 메시지는 새로운 부가적인 제어 메시지의 활용을 줄여 복잡함을 막고 모든 제어를 IP로 하는 이점을 얻을 수 있다.

  • The ad hoc network was composed of Mobile hosts. Due to the limited transmission range of each mobile node hosts, in such an environment, it is essential for other hosts to coorperate to transfer packet to destination. Moreover, the existing routing protocol algorithms are not efficient on the ad hoc network because a mobile host operates router without fixed router. In this paper, we will compare and analysis for the performance of existing ad hoc network routing protocols through simulation.

  • RFID applied in many area. I think that RFID enlarge for our life more and more. The application technology of RFID change the Mobile RFID using mobile phone and PDF etc. I think, Mobile RFID enlarge application technology gradually. In this paper, we propose the quality measurement metrics for mobile RFID middleware. I propose the quality testing model for interoperability and security of mobile RFID middleware. We examine the international standard for mobile RFID and software testing. In this paper, I proposed the evaluation model of mobile RFID middleware on the basis of international standard ISO/IEC 9126-2 and ISO/IEC 25000 series.

  • Users want to browse and search various web contents with mobile devices which can be used anywhere and anytime without limitations, in the same manner as desktop. But mobile devices have limited resources compared to desktop in terms of computing performance, network bandwidth, screen size for full browsing, and etc, so there are many difficulties in providing support for mobile devices to fully use desktop-based web contents. Recently, mobile network bandwidth has been greatly improved, however, since mobile devices cannot provide the same environment as desktop, users still feel inconvenienced. To provide web contents optimized for each user device, there have been studies about analyzing code to extract blocks for adaptation to a mobile environment. But since web contents are divided into several items such as menu, login, news, shopping, etc, if the block dividing basis is limited only to code or segment size, it will be difficult for users to recognize and find the items they need. Also it is necessary to resolve interface issues, which are the biggest inconvenience for users browsing in a mobile environment. In this paper, we suggest a personalized adaptation system that extracts item blocks from desktop-based web contents based on user interests, layers them, and adapts them for users so they can see preferred contents first.

Control of mobile robot system with wireless transmission of image information.

  • There are various researches on mobile robot systems. Connection method between server and client of mobile robot system is one of them. In the case of mobile robot system, when connection method between server and client is wireless than wire, applications may be expanded. Also in remote monitoring environment using mobile robot system, we are interested in an effective transmission of the image information between server and client. In this paper, Bluetooth is used for connection method between server and client. One of the major applications of Bluetooth is the cable replacement for mobile and peripheral devices. Using Bluetooth, we propose the control method of mobile robot system. Bluetooth offers fast and reliable transmissions of both voice and data over the globally available 2.4GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band. It has the advantage of small size, low power and low cost. It has the disadvantage of limited range and limited bandwidth. Also in order to transfer effectively image information between remote site(server) and mobile robot system(client) using Bluetooth, we applied to MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 image compression techniques and the results are compared with each other.

  • In this paper we purposes to analyze the motivation of mobile payment adopters. In this study, with unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model as the basis of research, we set up a structural equation model based on gender, age, experience and voluntary, collected data in the form of a questionnaire survey and analyzed drivers that affected mobile payers. In this study, The necessity of this paper is that the group of Korean students belongs to a special group with nearly 70,000 people. The penetration rate of mobile payment in China is 77%, ranking first in the world, but after the young people came to Korea. There are many obstacles and inconveniences when using mobile payment. We have proposed special subjects for special populations. the survey data were analyzed using SPSS22.0 and AMOS22.0 statistical software and the proposed model was modified. The results show that consumers' mobile payment is mainly motivated by social influence and performance expectancy. These results are of theoretical value and offer a new direction and implications to mobile payment developers. Besides, they also provide useful information and guidance for enterprises to aim at the market of Chinese oversea students in South Korea.

  • Using the mobile device, such as Smartphones tablet PC, online banking and e-commerce, as well as process and to their work. While going to high availability and convenience of mobile devices castle, SNS, letters, using an email Smishing financial fraud and leakage of personal information such as crime has occurred many. Smishing smartphone accidents increased sharply from 2013, MERS infection cases, landmine provocative events, such as the delivery of Thanksgiving has occurred cleverly using social engineering techniques. In this paper, i analyze the trends in Smishing hacking attacks on mobile devices since 2014. With regard to social issues, it analyzes the process of hacking attacks Smishing leading to financial fraud to mobile users. And, in this paper, i propose a secure way and measures of financial damage for mobile Smishing hacking.
