  • Contrast operating system installed on traditional PC, operating system installed to mobile IP host is a status not to be established a definite monopoly system. Accordingly, for the time being, it is expected that operating system operated in mobile IP host will be used various operating systems. Regardless of operating system, this condition is a very vulnerable to modified virus. Because operating system used in an individual host is very diverse, It makes technical development to cure complicated in detection efficiently these virus. In this thesis, By using VMware under the various operating system, I designed and implemented system which is able to test a modified virus. Also I implemented prototype system to operate under the real mobile condition.

  • This paper suggests the new IP, SIMIP(Simple Mobile IP), which supports a continuous mobility between a static host and a mobile host in the static TCP/IP LAN environment where mobile hosts are overlayed with cells. For designing a mobile protocol, routing optimization is very important, and it is directly related to the management mechanism of a mobile host's location information. When the mobile hosts' location information are centralized, the network has high risk when a centralized device fails. On the other hand, when they are distributed, the above problems are solved. But it requires complicated techniques in order to search the encapsulated addresses. SIMP centralizes mobile hosts' location information, minimizes the risk by automatically substituting the failed default mobile router with one of the multiple general mobile routers, and supports the optimal routing path through "default mobile router path alternation" Then since SIMIP isn't reasonable the operations informations to the chief in military operations room.ions room.

  • In the Mobile IP, the movement of Mobile Host(MH) causes packets to be transmitted through a long route. A Correspond Node(CN) first communicate with a Home Agent(HA) when a Mobile Host moved from one subnet to another subnet. The HH-MIP algorithm reduces an inefficient transmission of packets by regarding a Foreign Agent(FA) near a mobile host as a Temporary Home Agent(THA). However, The algorithm costs the unnecessary signaling by measuring the distance of route between a FA and a THA for handover in the case that a Mobile host comes from a THA which a current FA never communicated. To solve this problem, we propose a scheme called Hierarchical Home Agent Handover in Mobile IP(HHH-MIP) algorithm. Our HHH-MIP algorithm only searches tables in a router by using the hierarchical structure between a FA and a THA. The simulation results show that the HHH-MIP algorithm reduces the additional signaling cost.

  • A mobile IP is proposed to support host mobility over the current Internet. One of the most important issues on the host mobility is location and routing schemes that allow mobile hosts to move effectively from one site to another. In a Mobile IP environment, frequent handoffs are likely to degrade the performance by minimizing the loss of datagrams during handoffs. The handoff scheme is using routing optimization and binding extension to improve the performance by minimizing the average transfer delay of messages and packet loss. Simulation details show the improvement of transport delays and packet loss rate.

  • In the next generation wireless mobile network, various methods are studied to offer interworking and mobility between various radio networks. To offer these harmoniously, network adaptation methods based on IP is generalized, and specifications of host-based mobility method with Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6 to offer IP's mobility are defined in IETF specially. However, it is insufficient to satisfy quality of service that should be offered in wireless mobile network environment. Alternatively studies about Network-Based Mobility of Proxy Mobile IPv4, Proxy Mobile IPv6 etc. are preceded. This paper presents optimum plan that can offer mobility in the next generation radio transfer communication network by comparing and analyzing IP mobility methods divided by Host-based Mobility and Network-based Mobility.

  • VoIP is a core technology used to transmit both voice and data in an integrated packet' form. Within this technology, SIP is the signaling protocol used for 'real time' call services; particularly those where H323 is used. Yet, when considering the needs of mobile users, it is essential we integrate VoIp within the mobile technology so the mobile host is able to receive the 'packet' transported and by, and connected to, any available internet-address. For all this to occur, we need to improve Network Delay by reducing transmission problems associated with mobile services. If we are to obtain an optimal service then we must reduce any network delays which may arise from joining Mobile IP and VoIp services. This paper, therefore, considers how, unlike previous research, these delays may be improved through the use of the signaling technology\ulcorner SIP. It also considers how this research may be introduced into current wired and wireless integrated services enabling them to use the IP 'packet'.

  • Mobile-IP has been designed to have mobile computer users move from place to place without changing their IP addresses. Mobile-IP introduces the following entities to support mobility: Home Agent. Foreign Agent, etc., and it uses the techniques such as Agent Discovery, Registration. and Tunnelling. Mobile-IP route optimization provides a mechanism by which correspondent nodes are enable to know the mobile host's care-of address to alleviate the triangle routing problem. As a further performance improvement, to alleviate the overhead resulted from the frequent local mobility within a site hierarchical foreign agents are presented, and as a foreign agent which is willing to participate in communication maintain a buffering mechanism not to loss packets for mobile host, smooth handoffs is presented. In this paper, the problems to be thought to support host's mobility and the existing method to support it is discussed.

  • In an IP-based network, automated dynamic assignment of IP addresses is preferable. In most wired networks, a node relies on a centralized server by using dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) to obtain a dynamic IP address. However, the DHCPbased approach cannot be employed in a mobile ad hoc network (MANET) due to the uncertainty of any centralized DHCP server. That is, a MANET may become partitioned due to host mobility. Therefore, there is no guarantee to access a DHCP server. A general approach to address this issue is to allow a mobile host to pick a tentative address randomly, and then use duplicate address resolution (DAR) protocol to resolve any duplicate addresses. In this paper, an innovative distributed dynamic host configuration protocol designed to configure nodes in MANET is presented. The proposed protocol not only can detect the duplicate address, but also can resolve the problem caused by duplicate address. It shows that the proposed protocol works correctly and is more universal than earlier approaches. An enhanced version of DAR scheme is also proposed in this paper to solve the situation of duplicate MAC address. The new and innovative approach proposed in this paper can make the nodes in MANET provide services to other networks and avoid packets from being delivered to incorrect destinations.

  • Mobile IP(RFC2002) is representative protocols that support mobility to host. In this paper, we propose a mobile IP registration protocol using public-key based certificates and CA(certification authority). Our proposed protocol authenticates the registration message of mobile node and prevents replay attack and minimal use of public key cryptography, Also, Our proposed protocol directly authenticates between agents and mobile nodes using certificates. Though the computer simulation, we prove that our proposal has better performance than the previous public-key based Mobile IP registration protocol.

  • When a Mobile IP handoff occurs, the packets in flight can be lost because they are tunneled based on out-of-date location information. In this parer, we propose an enhanced handoff protocol that achieves no packet loss during Mobile IP handoff over a wireless LAN. Our handoff protocol predicts the next foreign agent that a mobile host is to visit by using: the information from the data link layer of wireless LAN. After that, when a Mobile IP handoff occult, the current foreign agent forwards the packets destined to a mobile host to the predicted foreign agent which buffers them. This eliminates packet loss and reduces the packet forwarding delay. Our handoff protocol is simulated using the Network Simulator-2 (ns-2) and shows the substantial performance enhancement of TCP with much less overhead up to 6.2 times compared to standard Mobile IP.
