  • A ubiquitous-based construction site management system coupled with construction processing status of a 3-D spatial information and sensor network for construction site management is implemented. The service of such management system is able to save efforts and times to check the processing status of construction sites and more the related construction staff in charge can receive the real time information of construction field or the related information can be transmitted to the office where the construction staffs in charge are. Especially we can provide on a mobile smart phone of real time processing status at construction field and environmental information of such temperature, humidity, information of GPS, etc. which are able to affect the construction status. In addition, construction processing and design modification etc. as well as necessary informations are able to be helped and provided at any time and to any place.

  • In recent years the combination of IT and BT for U-Healthcare Medical Services has attracted popular attention as an alternative for solving health problems due to aging issue. Active oxygen as free radicals causes unstable state of the body resulting to other disease on which approximate 90% of the diseases are associated with active oxygen. The severity is even higher along with increasing age. Therefore, there is a need for systematic management of active oxygen saturation for the elderly and chronic patients. In this paper, the data about active oxygen measurements from the body measurement is sent to the data storage of medical facilities by the service provider. Medical information is measured by devices provided complying with the standard, support and information using Bluetooth communication. Users can check their health status themselves using the proposed system through 3G/4G mobile devices like smart phone to medical institutions in which the smart phone act as a gateway for medical data transferred from patient to medical institutions and vice versa. Users can get and experience a diagnosis and effective U-Environmental Health Services from Medical institutions anywhere using the proposed built system.

An Adaptive FEC Algorithm for Sensor Networks with High Propagation Errors (전파 오류가 높은 센서 네트워크를 위한 적응적 FEC 알고리즘)

  • To improve performance over noisy wireless channels, mobile wireless networks employ forward error correction(FEC) techniques. The performance of static FEC algorithms, however, degrades by poorly matching the overhead of their correction code to the degree of the fluctuating underlying channel error. This paper proposes an adaptive FEC technique called FECA(FEC-level Adaptation), which dynamically tunes FEC strength to the currently estimated channel error rate at the data link layer. FECA is suitable for wireless networks whose error rate is high and slowly changing compared to the round-trip time between two communicating nodes. One such example network would be a sensor network in which the average bit error rate is higher than $10^{-6}$ and the detected error rate at one time lasts a few hundred milliseconds on average. Our experiments show that FECA performs 15% in simulations with theoretically modeled wireless channels and in trace-driven simulations based on the data collected from real sensor networks better than any other static FEC algorithms.

  • As smart phones have became popular in recent years, use rate of smart phones application of mobile subscribers is now gradually increasing. Smart phones have a considerable effect on real life of users. Especially, mobile payment service using smart phones is outstanding in convenience because of its simple way to check out online. Therefore, in this paper, the database was designed for inquiring and making pre-order for take-out products based on connivence. This paper offers pre-order design to have order information standardized, menus which store owners can register and manage, and statistical data based on sales. It can be cost and time-efficient by using integrated pre-order system across all franchises. If this take-out pre-order system becomes more widely available, it will increase profit for both users and franchises due to cost and time efficiency.

  • The growth of the mobile app markets has made it popular among people who recommend relevant information about restaurants. The recommendation service app based on AI Chatbot is that it can efficiently manage time and finances by making it easy for restaurant consumers to easily access the information they want anytime, anywhere. Eating out consumers use smartphone applications for finding restaurants, making reservations, and getting reviews and how to use them. In addition, social attention has recently been focused on the research of AI chatbot. The Chatbot is combined with the mobile messenger platform and enabling various services due to the text-type interactive service. It also helps users to find the services and data that they need information tersely. Applying this to restaurant recommendation services will increase the reliability of the information in providing personal information. In this paper, an artificial intelligence chatbot-based smartphone restaurant recommendation app using personalization information is proposed. The recommendation service app utilizes personalization information such as gender, age, interests, occupation, search records, visit records, wish lists, reviews, and real-time location information. Users can get recommendations for restaurants that fir their purpose through chatting using AI chatbot. Furthermore, it is possible to check real-time information about restaurants, make reservations, and write reviews. The proposed app uses a collaborative filtering recommendation system, and users receive information on dining out using artificial intelligence chatbots. Through chatbots, users can receive customized services using personal information while minimizing time and space limitations.

  • This paper proposes an augmented reality-based electronic circuit education system as a way for electronic circuit education, which is the basis of ICT convergence technology field. It consists of a hardware module that can identify the actual circuit and a mobile educational content that can check the current flow, input, output, and measured value by applying augmented reality technology. An experiment was conducted on image recognition, which is the main performance, for the purpose of stable operation of the system, and as the experimental method the recognition rate was measured by changing the distance between the hardware module and the mobile device to a certain interval. As a result of the experiment, the recognition rate was 100 percent at a distance of 25[Cm] or higher, and it was confirmed that the recognition rate decreased by 12% at a distance below 25[Cm], which can be said to be the effect of an error that results in image loss taken due to close distance. In the future, we plan to apply the education system presented in this paper to classes, which increases the efficiency of classes and improve students' interest and understanding of the subject.

Training Feedback effect of team-based CPR using a mobile video recording device body camera (이동용 영상촬영기기 바디캠을 활용한 팀단위 심폐소생술의 교육피드백 효과)

  • This study conducted a team-based CPR simulation with 32 fourth-year emergency rescue students to determine the effectiveness of training feedback using body cameras used at emergency rescue sites, and measured awareness, training feedback effectiveness, and satisfactio+n before and after body camera feedback. , preferences and difficulties in using body camera devices were identified. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 27.0 program, including descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, paried t-test, and Wilcoxon signed rank test. As a result of the study, the perception of body camera use showed a positive change from 3.73±0.62 points to 4.45±0.54 points, and a positive satisfaction level of 3.98±0.51 was shown (p<.001). Additionally, there was a significant increase in self-check accuracy and performance score after body camera feedback (p<.001). Therefore, during team-based simulation resuscitation training, positive feedback effects in improving self-inspection ability and performance can be achieved by watching body camera videos and using self-checklists without direct feedback from the instructor.

A Study on Determinants of Showrooming in the Context of Omni-channel: Focusing on Mobile Technology and User Characteristics (옴니채널에서 쇼루밍의 결정요인 연구: 모바일 기술과 이용자 특성을 중심으로)

  • This study explains consumers' showrooming which refers to the activities of visiting offline stores to check products in person and obtaining information offline and online via mobile devices before making the final decision to buy. More specifically, this study verifies key determinants of showrooming based on two dimensions of the mobile technology and user characteristics. Furthermore, the study examines the relationship of showrooming and purchase intentions and the moderating effect of perceived risks on the relationship. The key findings are as follows: firstly, service connectivity and time convenience of the mobile technology characteristics are positively related to showroming. Secondly, as the user characteristics, need for touch and personal innovativeness increase showrooming while impulsiveness does not. Thirdly, showrooming contributes to the increase of purchase intentions. Finally, moderating effect of perceived risks has turned out to be insignificant. This study has implications by providing the understanding of key determinants of showrooming and further proving the positive relationship of showrooming and purchase intentions.

  • Recently, research about an electronic attendance-absence recording system has been actively carried out using smart devices. Using an electronic attendance-absence recording system, professors can check their students' attendance on a real-time basis and manage their attendance records. In this paper, we proposed a real-time electronic attendance-absence recording system using face detection and face recognition based on web application. It can solve the spatial, temporal, cost issues belong to electronic attendance-absence recording system using AIDC(Automatic Identification and Data Capture). A proposed system is running on web server and made by HTML5(Hyper Text Markup Language ver.5). So professor connect to server using mobile web browser on mobile device and real-time manage electronic attendance-absence recording with real-time send or receive image data. In addition, the proposed system has an advantage capable of installation and operation, regardless of the operating system because it operates based on the Python flask framework.
