The control modes used in teleoperation are position control mode, and rate control mode. This paper presents the problems of the conventional control modes, through simulation, proposes an intelligent mixed control mode that converts the operation mode between the position mode and the rate mode intelligently by judging the operator's intention using the real-time measurement data. The effectiveness of the proposed intelligent mixed control mode is demonstrated and compared to other typical control modes through simulation and actual experiment.

In this paper, we obtain some geometric inequalities for mixed volumes of a convex body and its polar dual. We also develop a lower bound of the product of quermassintegral of a convex body and its polar dual and give a lower bound for the product of the dual quermassintegral of any index of centrally symmetric convex body and that of its polar dual.

This study was conducted to make the utmost use of the good traits and to improve the poor traits of zoysiagrass through the production technology for mixed lines sod in addition to breeding. Mixed lines sod was produced by mixing broad or middle leaf line with narrow leaf line by volume, a ratio of 1 to 2. The mixed lines sod of zoysiagrass was superior to the single ling sod, which is used commonly, for the establishment rate, coverage rate, shoot density, texture, leaf color, dormancy period cnd color, and visual quality.

This paper, an experimental study on the effect of mixed sand used sea and river as fine aggregate of concrete, is connected with the properties of fresh and hardended concrete and steel corrosion to investigate workability and engineering properties and general steel bar's corrosion of concrete used mixed sand. After analyzing positively fresh and hardenend concrete and ratio of the corrosion area affected by the autoclave cycle, the purpose of this paper is to provide an experimental data developing concrete used mixed sand.

Mixed linear models have been widely used in various correlated data including multivariate survival data. In this paper we extend hierarchical-likelihood(h-likelihood) approach for mixed linear models with right censored data to that for left censored data. We also allow a general random-effect structure and propose the estimation procedure. The proposed method is illustrated using a numerical data set and is also compared with marginal likelihood method.

This paper investigates the problems of grouping N products on an assembly line with an objective of maximizing the option grouping rate. Before developing a mixed model grouping algorithm, simulation studies are committed for developing operating rules and evaluating the layout production systems. A mixed model grouping algorithm is suggested and it is applied to the color selection lane in automobile production system, which reveals a high mixed model grouping rate.

In this paper, we introduce an iterative sequence for finding solution of a system of mixed equilibrium problems and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert spaces. Then, the weak and strong convergence theorems are proved under some parameters controlling conditions. Moreover, we apply our result to fixed point problems, system of equilibrium problems, general system of variational inequalities, mixed equilibrium problem, equilibrium problem and variational inequality.

This paper establishes a formula changing the ring from a Noetherian local ring A of dimension d > 0 containing the residue field k to the polynomial ring in d variables k[X₁, X₂, …, X_d] for mixed multiplicities. And as consequences, we get a formula for the multiplicity of Rees rings and formulas for mixed multiplicities and the multiplicity of Rees rings of quotient rings of A by highest dimensional associated prime ideals of A.

In this paper, we introduce and analyze a new class of generalized mixed equilibrium-like problems. By using the auxiliary principle technique, we suggest three iterative algorithms for the generalized mixed equilibrium-like problem. Under certain conditions, we establish the convergence of the iterative algorithms. Our results extend, improve and unify several known results in this field.

In this paper we analyze an error estimator for the lowest-order triangular Raviart-Thomas mixed finite element which is based on solution of local problems for the error. This estimator was proposed in [Alonso, Error estimators for a mixed method, Numer. Math. 74 (1996), 385{395] and has a similar concept to that of Bank and Weiser. We show that it is asymptotically exact for the Poisson equation if the underlying triangulations are uniform and the exact solution is regular enough.
