  • Mass killing and injuring by purpose, the countries that is hurrying countermeasure preparation of investigators who enforce that necessity to compare to intimidation of doing creature weapon is common concerns of the several countries including advanced nation such as the United States of America. Development and use of biological weapon have increased too recently to private citizens unlike development of military purpose in country dimension. The latest WHO is preparing proposal of standard stroke model who each department solidifies preparedness for chemical biological and electronic weapon revising report about biological weapon. But in case of korea, confrontation plan that bamboo broom about possibility of attack to the common people and attack comparing actual state in case of attained nothing but is readying remedy about biological warfare partially in military dimension was not readied. The purpose of this article is a study on threat of bio-weapons and the countermeasure.

  • A block replacement policy using items with different reliability is discussed. We divide system unit failure modes into two modes and use less reliable unit when operating unit fails near the planned preventive replacement time. In this policy, item A has two failure modes. Mode-1 failure is removed by minimal repair, mode-2 failure by replacement. If mode-2 failure of item A happens in (0, $T-{\delta}$), failure item A is replaced by new item A. If mode-2 failure of item A happens in ($T-{\delta}$, T), failure item A is replaced by new item B. Item B should be cheaper and less durable than item A. Under this policy, we determine the preventive replacement interval $T^{*}$ and the interval ${\delta}^{*}$ of item B replacement which minimize the cost rate per unit time.

  • As first step of any acoustic defence system, a attacking target warning system needs to be extremely reliable. This means the system must ensure a high probability of target classification together with a very low false alarm rate. In this paper, a algorithms for underwater target automatic classification is available for use in the passive sonar will be presented. In first, we will describe the precise automatic extraction of frequency lines for the detection of acoustic signatures. Also, a neural network and fuzzy based algorithms for target classification will be described. Thus the performances of these algorithms are very good with a high probability of classification.

  • Inertial Navigation System(INS) can provide the vehicle position and velocity information using inertial sensor outputs without the use of external aids. Unfortunately INS navigation error increases with time due to inertial sensor errors, and therefore it is desirable to combine INS with external aids such as GPS, TACAN, OMEGA, and etc.. In this paper we propose an integration algorithm of commercial GPS/GLONASS and INS where an adaptive filter for signal processing of GPS/GLONASS receiver and the 12th order Kalman filter for aided strapdown INS(SDINS) we employed. Simulation results show that the proposed adaptive filter can effectively remove a randomly occurring abrupt jump due to sudden corruption of the received satellite signal and that the Kalman filter performs satisfactorily.

  • Computer simulation was carried out to develop the tracer composition of a high performance to be able to be observed by not only the naked eye but also the thermal imaging system attached to the weapon system. The results of computer simulation show that the optimum Mg content among the trace compositions is about 40% and the formulation consisted of Viton A has a higher flame temperature compared with that of chloride compound. But the only use of Viton A radiates a yellow light and the composition adding a chloride compound radiates the red light. The light intensity of the tracer composition involving Viton A is higher than that of chloride compound. The tracer composition involving Viton A shows more clear images in case of all tests.

  • GNSS receiver which uses the weak satellite signal is very vulnerable to the intentional jamming or non-intentional electromagnetic interference. One of the best method to overcome this disadvantage is to use an adaptive array antenna which has the capability of beamforming or nulling to the certain direction. In this paper, the performance of spatial adaptive null pattern control algorithm of 5 element array antenna is analyzed. A control algorithm which is designed in the 5 element array antenna is OPM(Output Power Minimization) which is eliminating the correlation characteristics between a reference antenna and the others. This algorithm can be applied effectively to the satellite navigation's CRPA because the satellite direction is not considered and GNSS signal power is below the thermal noise. The feature of the OPM algorithm is analyzed and the performance is compared with other null pattern control algorithm.

  • In the naval environment, a naval radar has many obstructions of velocity, such as rotation and velocity of ship. In the common situation, the rotations such as roll, pitch and yaw don't influence the velocity of the target. But because the naval radar is located on the top of the mast, there is some influence to the target velocity. When we trace the target, radar controller doesn't use hits whose doppler banks are zero. So, we must compensate the target velocity for the velocity error. This paper suggests a method of velocity compensation of target by the velocity vector and how to apply to the stack beam radar if we don't know the height of the target.

  • Chaff is one of important devices for heliborne protection from radars and missiles. When we use a chaff for heliborne protection, J/S(jamming signal of chaff vs reflected signal from heliborne) is important factor to analyze a heliborne survive. When the radial angle between missile and heliborne is changed, J/S of missile receiver is changed and jamming effectiveness of chaff is also changed. We calculate the RCS of chaff and heliborne, and compare the returned signals in a half power beam width of receiver antenna. We analyze chaff dispense modes and specially simulate the effectiveness of a dilution mode chaff between missile and heliborne.

  • Shipping related services is attracting attention as a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) application with the recent economy has been generally accepted drones. UAV of the existing military-driven logistics delivery, aerial photography, wireless Internet connection, broadcasting, disaster research, digital maps, transportation, advertising, meteorological, border surveillance, agricultural use, such as hobbies range of uses from up military are diverse and growing. The advantage of delivery drones seems to be an important feature of delivery of the goods, including labor-saving, long-distance transportation in cold weather. UAV is demanded by competitive performance development for commercialization. Privacy issues that may arise during the drone operation, ensuring marketability issues, control system, regulations, operational standards and specifications, etc. should be addressed. Development direction of Korea UAV based in current technology, regulation, and growth potential presented by deriving from the idea of 'GIF 2016 Gang-won Hackathon.

  • Interpolation based information hiding methods are widely used to get information security. Conventional interpolation methods use the neighboring pixel value and simple calculation like average to embed secret bit stream into the image. But these information hiding methods are not appropriate to color images like military images because the characteristics of military images are not considered and these methods are restricted in grayscale images. In this paper, the new information hiding method based on interpolation using RGB pixel values of color image is proposed and the effectiveness is analyzed through experiments.
