  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between "Mental Status and Dementia Tests" and "predictive diagnosis of severity of dementia". This is a descriptive research, analyze the data collected from Alzheimer's patients and identify which "Mental Status and Dementia Tests" has the most impact to determine the severity of dementia. For this study, Alzheimer's patient's CDR, MMSE-K, SGDS, NPI-Q, BADL and IADL were collected and analyzed. This study will provide a predictive factor to determine the severity of dementia when "Mental Status and Dementia Testss" are being used and also to provide the right treatment. For this study, a total of 617 cases of data from Alzheimer's patients were collected and analyzed with SPSS Statistics. In addition, effective "Mental Status and Dementia Tests" for evaluating the severity of dementia were CDR, ADL, MMSE-K, and SGDS whereas NPI-Q and IADL. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended to implement more efficient diagnostic method by utilizing a standardized "Mental Status and Dementia Tests".

And it is not only breathe, but also accumulate the vital energy in the body, Which is also called "genuine qi(眞氣)" or "internal qi(內氣)." The therapy is based on controlling of Sprit(神), Breathing(呼吸), Mind(心). And it is in harmony with Qi-circulation(氣-循環), so smoothing the circulation of meridians, strengthened Essential-material(精), Qi(氣), Sprit(神). The Relaxation theraphy made the body and mind relaxed, and it is helpful of preventation of disease and mental health. And it treats neurosis, somatoform disease, it uses main or helpful therapy of various disease, elevates health mental concentration. • Serotonin has been implicated in the etiology of many disease states and may be particularly important mental illness, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, sleep disorders, suicide, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, migraine and others. Many currently used treatments of these disorders are thought to act by modulating serotonergic function. The identification of many serotonin subtypes, most of which have been shown to have functional activity and differential distribution, has stimulated considerable effort into synthesizing selective ligands(drugs) to help understand their significance. This should understand the role of serotonin in mental disorders and these new drugs can be studied alone and in combination with other treatments in order to clarify the parameters of drug use for the clinical effect.

Jeongji[Mental] disorder refers to a series of diseases that has a close link between the attack, clinical presentation and emotional stimulation. The attack is deeply affected by emotional stimulation, with which physical symptoms are either present or absent. However, emotional changes are clear most of the time, their effect on disease development noticeable as well. To sum up, Jeongji[Mental] disorder is related to a wide range of medical problems in fields such as internal, surgical, gynecology, pediatrics, and various psychiatric disorders, not to mention contemporary psychological disorders, neurosis, and all kinds of mental illnesses of today. Moreover, the mental and physical disorders of today all share a common pathogenesis, clinical manifestation and treatment discipline. All the more reason for deeper professional research.

More than 50 percentage of subjects had light depression, especially women and the elderly at 60-75age were more serious. The depressive elderly had no meetings, excursion, exercise, service activity and showed a hight tendency for under-weight or obesity. In conclusion, the relationship between the eating behavior and physical and mental health wa very significant, so it was necessary to provide comfortable living condition to the elderly.

  • Components derived from an infected lesion within the bone can spread through various passages in the mandible, particularly via the mental foramen. Radiologically, the spread of infection is typically nonspecific and challenging to characterize; however, multislice computed tomography (MSCT) can effectively detect pathological changes in soft tissues and the bone marrow space. This report describes the case of a 55-year-old woman who experienced mental nerve paresthesia due to a periapical infection of the right mandibular second premolar. MSCT imaging revealed increased attenuation around the periapical lesion extending into the mandibular canal and loss of the juxta-mental foraminal fat pad. Following endodontic treatment of the tooth suspected to be the source of the infection, the patient's symptoms resolved, and the previous MSCT imaging findings were no longer present. Increased bone marrow attenuation and obliteration of the fat plane in the buccal aspect of the mental foramen may serve as radiologic indicators of inflammation spreading from the bone marrow space.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a model for predicting mental health risk among adolescents based on health behavior information by employing a hybrid machine learning method. Methods: The study analyzed data of 51,850 domestic middle and high school students from 2022 Youth Health Behavior Survey conducted by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency. Firstly, mental health risk levels (stress perception, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts, suicide plans, experiences of sadness and despair, loneliness, and generalized anxiety disorder) were classified using the k-mean unsupervised learning technique. Secondly, demographic factors (family economic status, gender, age), academic performance, physical health (body mass index, moderate-intensity exercise, subjective health perception, oral health perception), daily life habits (sleep time, wake-up time, smartphone use time, difficulty recovering from fatigue), eating habits (consumption of high-caffeine drinks, sweet drinks, late-night snacks), violence victimization, and deviance (drinking, smoking experience) data were input to develop a random forest model predicting mental health risk, using logistic and XGBoosting. The model and its prediction performance were compared. Results: First, the subjects were classified into two mental health groups using k-mean unsupervised learning, with the high mental health risk group constituting 26.45% of the total sample (13,712 adolescents). This mental health risk group included most of the adolescents who had made suicide plans (95.1%) or attempted suicide (96.7%). Second, the predictive performance of the random forest model for classifying mental health risk groups significantly outperformed that of the reference model (AUC=.94). Predictors of high importance were 'difficulty recovering from daytime fatigue' and 'subjective health perception'. Conclusion: Based on an understanding of adolescent health behavior information, it is possible to predict the mental health risk levels of adolescents and make interventions in advance.
