A Case of Atopic Dermatitis with Nummular Eczema (화폐상습진을 동반한 성인형 아토피피부염의 한방 치험 1례)

  • Introduction : Atopic dermatitis(AD) is chronic eczematous dermatitis which is related strongly to a family history of atopic disease and hereditary disposition. Adolescence and adult atopic dermatitis (AAD) patients have been overlooked because they were relatively small population and AAD were considered merely consecutive of infant and childhood AD. Objective : The purpose of this study was to estimate the efficacy of oriental medical treatment and management on chromic AAD with nummular eczema and breast eczema. Methods : We tented this case with herb-medication, herb-irrigation, acupuncture, negative therapy, full spectrum visible lay therapy (by carbon arc) and external application (SA1, Siwon Ilhwang-Go). We observed for 7 months. Results : The grades of the severity of AD with nummular eczema, breast eczema were lower only by the oriental medical treatments and managements. Conclusion : Considering the above results, more study is needed on the case with AAD with diffuse nummular eczema, effectiveness of external application and correlation between immunological and results of oriental media treatments.

Improvement of Strength and Chemical Resistance of Silicate Polymer Concrete

  • It has been known that acid-resistant concretes on the liquid glass basis have high porosity (up to 18${\sim}$20%), low strength and insufficient water resistance. Therefore they can not be used as materials for load-bearing structural elements. Significant increasing of silicate matrix strength and density was carried out by incorporation of special liquid organic alkali-soluble silicate additives, which block of superficial pores and reduces concrete shrinkage deformation. It was demonstrated that introduction of tetrafurfuryloxisilane additive sharply increases strength, durability and shock resistance of silicate polymer concrete in aggressive media. This effect is attributable to hardening of contacts between silicate binder gel globes and modification of alkaline component owing to "inoculation" of the furan radical. The optimal concrete composition with the increased strength, chemical resistance in the aggressive environments, density and crack resistance was obtained.

  • Introduction of digital communication network such as Integrated Services Digital Networks(ISDN) and digital storage media have rapidly developed. Due to a large amount of image data, compression is the key techniques in still image and video using digital signal processing for transmitting and storing. Digital image compression provides solutions for various image applications that represent digital image requiring a large amount of data. in this paper, the proposed DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) filter bank is consisted of simple architecture, but it is efficiently designed that a user obtains a wanted compression rate as only input parameter. If it is implemented by FPGA chip, the designed encoder operates in 12MHz.

  • The evolution of telecommunications has raised the profile of many segments of the network that were not previously considered important. Until recently, basic telephony existed with the extension of passive cables without any particular user network interface. In the area of data communications, the introduction of flexible packet switching has allowed the network to evolve in a far more efficient manner. To overcome such separated network problems and business needs of both users and network providers, the integrated narrowband ISDN concept is being developed in most countries for implementation in the public switched telephone network (PSTN). The targets of ISDN, in my opinion, can be explained as follows : To the user, ISDN should provide the services at any time, at any place, through any media. To the business customer using PABX or LAN applications, ISDN should introduce customized services rapidly and also, ISDN should be developed by the modular hardware and software design approach in order for new services to be introduced rapidly and effectively. Software can be also developed by non-expert local staff to cater for adopting new user's service requirements immediately. Finally, ISDN will be able to increase business chances and benefit both users and operating companies.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and profile Korean women's fashion opinion leaders on demographic, psychological and communication channels dimensions. The questionnaire was administered to 1204 students from a purposively selected. women's universities in Seoul. The data was analyzed using $X^2$-test, t-test, multiple regression analysis and discriminant analysis, The significance level was set at. 05. The major findings derived from analysis are as follows: 1. Fashion opinion leaders are generally come from families with higher income, more education and higher occupational status than followers. 2. Fashion opinion leaders are more likely to be exhibitionistic, self-confident, individualistic, risk taking and gregarious than followers. 3. Fashion opinion leaders are more exposed to impersonal communication media, especially to fashion magazines than followers. These findings imply an obvious usefulness for both manufacturers in the apparel industry as well as retailers to help them in the identification of their target market for the introduction and acceptance of fashion items.

  • 쌍방향 TV시대를 맞아 TV를 활용한 교육 서비스가 기존 e-Learning의 한계점을 극복 할 수 있는 대안으로 혹은 또 다른 하나의 서비스로 논의되기 시작하는 단계이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 e-Learning에 대한 정의와 T-Learning에 대한 정의를 바탕으로 상호관계를 규정하고 쌍방향 TV기반의 T-Learning에서 접근 가능한 교육 유형을 고찰하였다. 또한, 인터넷 기반 학습 환경에서 기존의 산발적으로 혹은 부분적으로 이루어진 e-Learning 도입 혹은 운영 방법론에 대한 연구와 관련 변인들을 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 체계적이고 통합적인 e-Learning 도입 및 운영 방법론 모델을 제시하였으며 더 나아가 TV기반 학습 환경에서의 성공적으로 T-Learning 도입 및 운영을 위한 변인 요소를 도출하기 위한 모형을 연구 제시 하였다.

Glass material is expressing by various technique in space and outer skin to introduction of digital media and a high-tech technology. Expressive characteristics and Techniques of this glass material are showing form of homogenized life in this age, simulated life. Therefore, this study does theoretical investigation through dematerializing of glass material, and analyzes works after 2000.   • A number of new DTV technologies have been introduced to provide crystal clear picture and enhanced sound. HDTV, in particular has four times resolution of conventional TV along with 16:9 aspect ratio. Also the introduction of the new technologies offered a valuable basis for character graphics which was only an assistant method to deliver visual images effectively. Various sizes of displays for different applications such as high definition TV and mobile multimedia services have created demands for additional features of character graphics including proper letter fonts, colors, moving effects as much. This article analyzes in what way the visual elements above can affect uses' visual perception. New CG formats designed for OSMU, one source multi use, are also suggested available to each media. For the research three groups of CG designers, art directors and productions/distribution groups are established according to production process by two Delphi surveys of TV production staff.

Accordingly, in order to resolve such a structural point at issue, this study has carried the newly designed and developed, 18 wooden, cultural craft items that were Produced by utilizing the ultramodern digital M/C installed at TIDIC (Tourism Industry Design Innovation Center in Kwangju University), it would contribute to achieve some global cultural products.

  • 최근 다양한 국제 방송표준에서 차세대 오디오 코덱의 하나로 MPEG-H 3DA(3D Audio)가 채택되었으며, 이를 활용한 몰입형 오디오 서비스들이 개발되고 있다. 이러한 몰입형 서비스를 원활히 제공하기 위해서는 표준에 정의된 기술을 구현한 제품간의 상호호환성 검증이 필수적으로 추진되어야 하며, 이를 위해 개발된 MPEG-H TV Audio System 인증 프로그램에 대해 대상 제품과 시험서비스의 구조에 대해 설명하고 있다.
