안테나 일체형 소출력 무선기기의 3차원 측정 시스템 개발 (Development of 3-Dimensional Measuring System for the Antenna Mounted Small Radio Equipments)

  • 최근에 개발되는 대부분의 800MHz 이상 소출력 무선기기는 회로 본체에 안테나를 별도로 돌출 분리시키지 않고 일체형으로 설계하고 있다. 이와 같은 일체형 무선기기의 성능평가는 고전적 개념의 송신기 출력, 안테나 성능을 분리하여 측정하던 방식의 변화를 요구하고 있어, 본 연구는 이와 같은 시대적 환경에 적합한 새로운 측정방식을 제안하고 관련 기기를 개발하였다. 즉, 소형 무선기기를 원점으로 360도 전방향으로 전계를 측정하여 TRP를 측정하고, 반대로 수신레벨 역시 360도 전방향에서 측정하여 TIS를 측정하여 무선기기의 정량적 평가를 할 수 있도록하였다. 뿐만 아니라 송신기의 급전점 전력을 측정할 수 있는 경우 PCB상에 부착된 안테나의 이득, 회로 주변 유전재료, 도전재료가 방사 또는 수신레벨에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 측정할 수 있도록 하여 효과적인 주파수 관리에 기여하고 일체형 무선기기의 최적설계와 성능관리에 효율성을 제고시킬 수 있었다.

Development of IoT-based non-cleaning water quality measuring equipment

  • It takes lots of time and labor if a worker have to measure the water quality at a certain but designated time every day in an un-automated aqua farm. In addition, if the equipment is soaked in the sea water consistently, it will be contaminated by diverse floating matters and barnacles, and it often becomes mal-functional within 2~3 months. Therefore, we need to develop a system with which the sensed data could be checked in real time and operated automatically, while preventing the contamination of the sensor, a crucial component for water quality measuring equipment, as much as possible, and increasing the replacement cycle. We have developed a non-cleaning water quality measuring equipment and its software which are used in the fishery household of offshore aqua farms. By providing the workers with a mobile application which has a function of monitoring the water quality in real time, they can check the situation directly without going to the fishery household.

  • Recently, to the development of a highly information-oriented society to a large increase in dependence on power, Accordingly, it is need that active development and spread of preservation technology on accident prevention in operation electrical equipment. However, to lack of the use on maintenance technology of power equipment and to increase of power usage is growing deterioration of power equipment, this is a cause on casualties, property damage and the occurrence of disasters is a growing. GIS equipments which are operated from domestic except the equipment which manages from the big business are depend on a most visual inspection, and do inspection method or measuring instrument etc. a condition which is not supplied widely. Currently, many to measure instrument used in domestic is very expensive or foreign, it will be able to substitute this, the development necessity of the diagnosis technique and the measuring instrument is demanded.

Multipath Mitigation for Pulses Using Supervised Learning: Application to Distance Measuring Equipment

  • This paper presents a method to suppress multipath induced by pulses using supervised learning. In modern electronics, pulses have been used for various purposes such as communication or distance measurements. Like other signals, pulses also suffer from multipath. When a pulse and a multipath are overlapped, the original pulse shape is distorted. The distorted pulse could result in communication failures or distance measurement errors. However, a large number of samples available from a pulse can be used to effectively reject multipath by using a supervised learning method. This paper introduces how a supervised learning method can be applied to Distance Measuring Equipment. Simulation results show that multipath induced distance measuring error can be suppressed by 10 ~ 45 percent depending on the allowed pulse shape variation allowed in a standard.

  • In this study, on-line measuring system were developed to verify performances and functions of traction system that are used in KTX(Korea Train eXpress) synthetically and efficiently, and have been measuring electric signals of vehicle as well as mechanical signals up to the present. Running-braking measuring equipment was constructed in vehicle to optimize signal acquisition and analysis ability of the measuring system. Measurement data of signal were performed acquisition, analysis and evaluation using this equipment. KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) described about main specifications of measuring equipment. Also, the structure and principles as well as main circuit system were explained in brief. KRRI analyzed the characteristics comparing design values with experimental values about running distance, running time and positive acceleration for KTX is running in full traction. We analyzed the distance and time according to number of motor block. In result, running characteristics of traction system in KTX were verified and could be evaluated.

열손실량 보정을 통한 콘크리트 단열온도상승량 예측 장치 (Equipment for Measuring the Adiabatic Temperature Rise of Concrete by Compensating Heat Loss)

  • 매스 콘크리트에서 발생하는 수화열을 예측하기 위한 단열온도상승시험은 시험 비용이 고가이고 시공간상 제약으로 인해 한계가 있는 실정이다. 이에 신속하고 경제적이며 간편한 간이 수화열 측정 장치의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 간이 수화열 측정 장치를 완성하기 전 단열 성능이 뛰어난 보온병에 콘크리트를 타설하고 열손실량을 보정하여, 간이 수화열 측정 장치의 타당성을 입증하고자 하였다. 열손실량을 정확히 예측하기 위해서는 측정 장치의 정확한 열손실계수를 추정하는 것이 필수적인데, 열손실계수는 단열 장치 내부의 수온 변화를 이용하여 추정하였다. 시험 결과 장치 고유의 열손실계수는 외부 온도와 습도, 내부 온도 변화에 크게 변하지 않는 것으로 드러났다. 실제 단열온도상승시험과 열손실량이 보정된 보온병의 단열온도상승량과의 검증 시험을 통해 이 연구의 객관성과 타당성을 입증할 수 있었다.

  • A vibrational model of powder transfer equipment based on the lumped parameter method was developed, in which the operating motion consists of surging, bouncing, and pitching. After decoupling the equation of motion, the vibrational excitation source of the pitching motion was removed. So the designers are able to plan the optimum design to adjust the motion trajectory of the powder transfer equipment. That is, a procedure to adjust the motion trajectory of powder transfer equipment by changing design specifications such as the installation position, the direction of the motor, the driving speed, the mass unbalance, the stiffness coefficient, and the installation position of the support spring, is presented in this paper. The powder transfer equipment manufactured according to the results of this study did not suffer fatigue destruction, since the maximum stress on the basket structure was sufficiently small.

함정탑재장비 진동 측정불확도 추정 (Estimation of Uncertainty in Vibration Measurement of Shipboard Equipment)

  • This paper proposes estimation model of uncertainty in vibration measurement of shipboard equipment and analyzes the result of uncertainty estimation. Vibration of shipboard equipments affects underwater radiated noise that is important performance related to stealth of the naval vessel. Acceptance testing for shipboard equipment is required to guarantee the stealth performance of naval vessel. In measuring, detailed uncertainty estimation is essential to improve measuring reliability. Acceptance testing result of structure-borne noise and vibration is used to analyze uncertainty in vibration measurement of shipboard equipment.

Microwave and RF Heating for Medical Application under Noninvasive Temperature Measurement Using Magnetic Resonance

  • Recent development of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment enables interventional radiology (IVR) as diagnosis and treatment under MRI usage. In this paper, a new methodology for magnetic resonance (MR) scanner to apply not only diagnostic equipment but for treatment one is discussed. The temperature measuring procedure under MR is to measure phase shift of $T_1$, which is the longitudinal relaxation time of proton, for the position inside a sample material with the application of pulsed RF for heating inside the sample as artificial dielectrics. The result shows the possibility to apply MR as temperature measuring equipment and as a heating equipment for applying such as hyperthermia heating modality.

  • The pressure distribution between body and seat surface has been considered as one of the most important factors which affect seation comfort. The pattern of body pressure distribution has been an index of measuring comfort of an automobile seat. There has been numerous studies that measured the body pressure distribution. But, studies have many problems(pressure distortion, resolution, reliability, portability, usability, and shape fitness) in measuring the body pressure distribution. In this study, the new body pressure distribution measuring equipment has been developed by using the thin, flat, and polymer-film devices known as Force Sensing Resistors(FSRs) in order to solve those problems.
