The present study aims to phenomenologically investigate the adaptation experiences of Vietnamese immigrant women, with in the sociocultural context of their native country. In-depth interviews with a total of seven Vietnamese immigrant women were analyzed by the phenomenological method of A. Giorgi(1997). A total of 127 meaning units and 7 themes with 17 sub-themes, which rendered central meanings that indicated situational structures, were derived. The statements of situational structures were re-categorized in accordance with the sociocultural context of their native country. As the socioeconomic aspect, "aspiration for new opportunities and a new world" and "disappointment and frustration" were derived. The aspect of familial value and culture involved "conflicts over the unilateral acceptance of differences" and "building social relationships". The aspect of female status was associated with "conflicts due to patriarchal hierarchy". The aspect of child caring involved "education as a symbolic value" and the "double-sidedness of mother identity strategy". The gist of Vietnamese immigrant women's adaptation experiences is "to grow into a subjective mother despite conflicts due to the disappointment and frustration behind aspirations".

본고에서는 시제의 일반적 정의와 상에 관한 개념들을 정리 하였다. 시제는 시간을 나타내는 동사의 굴절형'이고 따라서 시제는 문법범주의 하나로서 영어의 경우 현재시제와 과거시제를 인정하고 있다. 시제처럼 상을 문법범주로 인정한다면 그 기술 대상은 당연히 문법적 표현에 국한될 것이고 반대로 문법범주가 아닌 의미범주로 간주하면 문법적 표현은 물론이고 어휘적 표현까지 기술대상이 될 것이다. 따라서 상은 문법범주로서 명시되어 있고 특히 영어의 상은 진행형과 완료형의 두 형태로 국한하고 있다. 이 경우에 진행상(the progressive aspect)은 진행형, 완료상(the perfect aspect)은 완료형을 가리킨다. 제 2장에서는 여러 학자들의 시제에 관한 정의를 살펴보고 또한 각 시제의 용법들을 정의 하였다. 3장에서는 상의 정의를 제시하였고, 상에는 문법적, 의미적상이 있음을 여러 학자들의 정의를 통하여 알아보았다. 시제와 상은 어떻게 보면 간단한 문법 범주이나 시각을 좀더 달리하면 다양한 스펙트럼을 가진 범주로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 시제와 상의 정의가 명확해지면 영어교육의 피대상자가 언어를 이해하는데 많은 도움이 될 것이다. 더하여 다양한 영역에서 시제와 상에 관한 개념정의가 필요하고 더 많은 연구가 있어야 할 것으로 여겨진다.

This study is to observe the meaning, aesthetic formative nature of the human body which has been not only a main issue and discussion object but also socially, culturally connected with clothing by contemplating it in the respect of the trend of art. Additionally, a work of contemplation about human body introduced to fashion design was analyzed to renew the meaning and value of the formative art inside the human body. The way and scope of this study is to contemplate the concept and meaning of human body, based on the documentary records such as art history and clothing history in the West society as a main theme. The results of the analysis were as follows: In the first place, the formative characteristics shown in the modem arts expressing the human body since 1990 which are cubism, futurism, metaphysical painting, dadaism, surrealism, pop art, happening, feminism, body art, and technology art are distortion, exaggeration and dismantling. Second, the aesthetic formative nature and meaning in the human body appear to be different according to the standard of ideal beauty of human body when we examine the expression of it from the aspect of art-history and the meaning of human body implied in it. Besides, human body is being used as a messenger which delivers the message of modem artist to other people. So the changed meaning of human body has affected the clothing and made it possible to manufacture and form new styles of clothing that have never been before. In conclusion, the human body in the modem era plays an important role as a brand-new formative medium of communication in the human society and contributes to the development which applies the aesthetic formative nature of the human body to fashion design.

The purpose of this study is the approach to I.I.C.P. centered on the meaning of consciousness disorder and the pathological aspect of Kwul (Jose consciousness ; faint, fall into a coma). The meaning of consciousness disorder and apoplexy is evidently involved the definition of Kwul. 1. It is found that the etymological interpretation on Kwul which the energy rises back to go through blocked space and the meaning interpretation of regarding Kwul as apoplexy with medical viewpoint, are related with consciousness disorder and motor disturbance in IICP in the aspect of the rise of Kwul and the abnormal rising of vital energy and blood, In addtion, the overall of meaning of Kwul is showed in table <1-1> by reference to doctors of many generations, 2. The pathology of Kwul includes abnormal rising, sthenia-syndrome in the upper part and asthenia in the lower, the origin of Kwul, the lower, looking like Yin by too sthenic Yang and looking like Yang by too sthenic Yin. The headache, vomiting, papilledema, paralysis of nervi craniales, coma, blood pressure rising, tachycardia by I.I.C.P can be regarded as a conception of trouble of vital energy, sthenia-syndrome of Kwul. The pulse pressure, brachycardia, bradypnea can be regarded as the conception of looking like Yin by too sthenic Yang. 3. In the emergency of Kwul, the abnormal ternimal reversion of the Kwulyin channel, Kuyang channel, and three Yins are related with the phenomenon in I.I.C.P. It is considered that the reverse movement of materials, I.I.C.P. can be closely observed by giving meaning on the meridian of Kwul in Somunkwulron. And the content of phrases of Naelyung which includes consciousness disorder refered in the chapter of Kwul, is compared with I.I.C.P. 4. The followings should be considered; examination of optic symptom and abnormal posture in cerebral herniation ; understanding and working out counterplans of factors and symptoms of consciousness disorder by the observation of vital sign, check of general stages, neurologic inverstigation, clinical diagnosis, and subsidiary diagnosis; application of morphological change of opinion; addtion of the conception of demonstration centered on Yunkyung, Samyinkwulruk, asthenia and thenia of healthy energy in oriental medicine. 5. The similarity of Kwul and I.I.C.P. can be found from etiology and pathotenic factor. The similarity is clearly found by investigation of etiology, pathotenic factor, symptoms and thrapy of Kwul, disease symptom ar.d other symptoms.

The purpose of this study is to propose evaluation factors for elementary school facility in terms of educational adequacy. The focal point of this study is to clarify the proper measure of educational facility evaluation in the light of specific characteristics of facility. In order to improve the level of educational adequacy, more information is needed regarding school facility design and various factors which affect to the design. This is important works because such information is essential in implementing facility design to meet the needs of the new educational policy. To get the goal, first, it is attempted to analyse the meaning of design information which deeply affect on the school facility design. The design information is classified into three main aspects, such as human aspect, social aspect and physical aspect. The design information regarding the physical space verses human psychology and behavior belongs to category of human aspect. Pedagogic ideology which varies depend upon the time and regions is classified into the category of social aspect. The Physical aspect means efficient equipment performance of space to support educational activities effectively. Secondly, as for the educational adequacy evaluation concern, it is attempted to select more items which usually has been neglected by the existing evaluation criteria which mainly emphasized functional performances only. With the premise of the above, in this paper, it is attempted to propose proper evaluation factors in terms of educational adequacy for school facilities. As the research methods, researching of literature on this subject, field trip, interview, site analysis, and survey is used.

The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation between Truth(道) and dimension through the understanding of architectural point of value in the aspect of correlation between modern western thoughts and the thoughts of Truth and also through the reading of what kind of composite trend of the Truth can be seen in a Korea traditional house. This stduy takes the following procedure with reference books and traditional house that we have. 1) Making foundation for this study by finding out the fundamental meaning of the thoughts of Truth through the comparing and analyzing between modern western thoughts and the thoughts of Truth. 2) Reviewing the understanding of dimension in the thoughts of Truth. 3) Traslation of the organic correlation through the analysis of composition, placement and characteristics of dimension in a real present traditional Korea house. 4) Finding out the meaning of each dimension through the adaptation of the fundamental rules of nature of Jane(藏:store), Sang(生:life), Jang(長:long), Su(收obtain) to the dimension composite of a traditional house and concluding that the cyclical process in the oriental thoughts could be made.

Thus, this current work expresses that the color is related with decoration effect as well as basic designed-conceptual work process including the space is formed. Furthermore, through the side-composition with color, It activates the various space aspect perceptually, which created the colorful environment in using lightning, reflection of glass and penetrated nature etc. The keyword on color concept is as like various aspects, third dimension, non-materiality and symbolical meaning. In addition, it provides the color space equipped with functionality and artistry capable to arouse the diverse sensual capacity to space users on default of color image language.

Objective : The using of termionology in medicine is important because terminology discriminates the meaning of words. In that aspect, there are conflicts that bao has plenty of meanings as medical terminology(womb and urinary bladder). Therefor, we need to discriminate and define bao. Method : We compare terminology of bao and words related with bao such as pao(胞) in "Dongeuibogam", "Hwangdineijing" and medical dictionary. Also we try to define right meaning of words as medical terminology. Result : Bao has several meanings in medical books. However, they have tendencies that could make scholars choose appropriate terminology in medicine. Conclusion : Bao is preferred as a womb and pao is prefferd as a urinary bladder in medical terminology.

The concept of style provides a useful structure in history of Art. In aspect of formative art, dress and art work are alike, so style is a useful concept in the historical methodology on dress. The main purpose of this study was to apply the art criticism to the historical methodology on dress. For this purpose, documentary studies about style as a tool of historical research were proceeded. The results were as follows : 1. The concept of style consists of the external form and the internal meaning as double roots. Therefore, it's indispensable that the two asp-ects of style, form and meaning, must to be harmonized to describe the historical phenomena in dress. 2. The change pattern of style in dress is not always predeterminate and regular according to the cyclical theory. From the alternative point of view, the change pattern of style could be to describe the continuous theory proposed by kroeber, Brodsky. The whole change of style is considered "liked solution" by this theory.is theory.
