This research presented research objective on service recovery equity and related scientific purpose and a practical view based on actual problems and needs of hotel restaurant service management, deriving following research results. First, through considering previous research related to service recovery equity, theoretical system on segmentation of customer appraisal through business situation variables and recovery equity are presented. Second, in the enlarged meaning of existing recovery equity and related previous research, relationship was examined closely through an analysis of new causal relationship on recovery equity and research on relationship between recovery equity and customer appraisal. Third, the effect of service recovery equity affecting consequences on satisfaction and the intention of action were analyzed through customer appraisal and examined the relationship between service recovery equity and customer attitude. In this research, implications on future scientific and practical views based on the results are as follows. Not only the necessity of further research on the general service industry but also research on customer appraisal systems were suggested by offering parameters segmented from service recovery through customer satisfaction and intention of action for customer appraisal.

This study purposes to explore the growing process through spousal bereavement in later life, and to develop the theory. A qualitative research was conducted, and the participants were 17 seniors. The analysis according to Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory(1998), resulted in 143 concepts, 43 subcategories, and 19 categories. Range analysis according to paradigm showed that the causal conditions were 'marital relationships', 'independent/dependent tendencies', and 'emotional readiness for the death of a spouse', and the phenomena were 'depression', 'hopelessness', 'daily stress', 'psychological intimidation', 'regret', and 'sense of being freed'. The contextual conditions that affect these phenomena were 'desire for intimate personal relationships' and 'desire to maintain independence'; the action/interaction strategies to manage the phenomena were 'facing reality' and 'efforts for construction of the new life'; and the mediating conditions that promote or suppress these action/interaction strategies were 'social support' and 'spirituality'. The results were 'reconstruction of the meaning in life', 'increase in self-esteem', 'reinforcement of social network' and 'embrace and acceptance'. Furthermore, when personal growth after bereavement of a spouse was analyzed focusing on changes over time, the growth process consisted of three steps: 'sadness and despair', 'embracing and moving forward', and 'personal growth'. The pattern analyses were performed to typify recurring relations by category, and 5 types were derived. The results of our study show that personal growth after spousal loss is an integrative process in life after crisis, and can be conceptualized as the process of overcoming the despair that immediately follows the death of a spouse, seeking a new life by actively taking control, and discovering a strengthened self.

The present work aims to analyze the concept of space in $Jes{\acute{u}}s$ $Fern{\acute{a}}ndez$ Santos' work Los bravos. Throughout its pages, one can observe the multidimensional possibilities of space in literature. Throughout time, the concept of literary space has developed and it has been modified constantly in order to meet the needs required for the evolution of narratology. In the past, Aristotle stated that space is the place where characters and physical objects happen to exist. This remained almost unchanged until the Renaissance. In the $19^{th}$ century, space stopped being considered just a mere scene where the action takes place as it was given more importance by romantic authors in their works. Realism intensified the spaces as the interior of the house. In fact, the descriptions of space became more important. In this article, I focus on the various meanings of space in the novel Los bravos. First, I analyze the dichotomy between real and ideal spaces, and continue with the cathartic dimension of the fictional space. Then, I present and analyze the opposition between urban and rustic spaces in this novel, and, finally, I show the confrontation between the spaces of men and women. Through this analysis, we can observe that characters have a space where they feel more comfortable and how, occasionally, they leave their "usual space of action" to reach their "ideal place". Women want to stay in their kitchen to chat with each other, while men prefer to leave the house to visit a cafe with their colleagues. The door and the window divide the border of the worlds of men and women. However, that line is not only dividing the structure of the house, but it is also of a psychological house.

This thesis is for the analysis of the relationships between Mozi's 'Heaven and Man' through the inspection of meaning and emphasis in his three books, 'Heaven's Will', 'Verification of Ghost' and 'Indeterminism'. According to the previous study, the Heaven's Will and Verification of Ghost are justify Mozi's theory of theistic stance with the Heaven's authority. And in case of the 'Indeterminism', there seems to be positive and rational way of awareness and it's thought to be atheistic stance. It is thought that there is a rule of action which is about the personality principle, and it suggest that how the government rule the country, and how the people lead a life. And it is the ghost that give prize or punishment when they did something according to this principle or not. So, men should do their best in actual life to meet the heaven's will. Because my fate is not decided by heaven's order but my own action. And it is thought that the main point of 'the indeterminism' is about Heaven helps those who do independent and active efforts. In short, 'the Heaven's Will', Verification of Ghost' and 'Indeterminism' are neither contradiction nor conversion form theism to atheism. Mozi is thought to divide clearly about ghost's works and people's works, and it is expressed explicitly in his works 'Heaven's Will', 'Verification of Ghost' and 'Indeterminism'.

As Oedipa Mass, the heroine of Thomas Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49, is apparently associated with Oedipus, the hero in Sophocles' tragedy, this paper aims to show some of their similarities in quest theme and plot development as well as in the use of dramatic irony. Oedipus the King opens with a priest's pleas to relieve the Theban people from a plague and the king's promise to rid its cause by avenging the murder of the former king, as told by the oracle. Lot 49 begins as a Los Angeles law firm informs Oedipa that she is named as the executrix in her former lover Inverarity's will to sort out the mogul's estate. Ironically, however, Oedipus' investigation reveals himself to be the very cause of the national disaster, the murderer for whom he searched. Likewise, Oedipa starts her inquiry dedicating herself to make sense out of what Inverarity had left behind, only to find that the legacy was America. Sophocles and Pynchon both employ dramatic irony to provide a controlling principle for plot development in their works. In Oedipus the King, Sophocles creates mounting tension as well as distance between the reader's knowledge and the protagonist's ignorance, compressing the play's action into the moment that Oedipus discovers his real identity. For dramatic irony, however, Pynchon tends to work through authorial comments and utilize allegorical meanings of the characters' names, directing his novel at illuminating Oedipa's discovery of Inverarity's legacy as well as the meaning of Tristero, an underground postal service system. Unlike Oedipus the King that proceeds on a single line of action, Lot 49 develops in esoteric, multi-layered allusions and intricately-interrelated double strains involving Oedipa's roles as executrix and quester. At the end of Sophocles' tragedy, Oedipus stabs his eyes and decides to live in exile, realizing that, blinded, he begot his children through his mother; Oedipa comes to a painful realization that she allowed her former lover to create death-orienting America without her diversity and moral system in old times. As Oedipa now discovers herself through her search for Tristero, her tragic spirit lies in her determination to confront her binary choices between two Americas: transcendence or entropy, the Tristero possibility or Inverarity's America. Ultimately, Oedipa tries to find who will be the bidder for the Tristero forged stamps designated as lot 49, awaiting the auctioneer's cry and the "crying" of a new-born America.

In this paper, this author studied the realization of Daesoonjinri's Haewon Sangsaeng(解冤相生) in this world, for instance discussed the meaning of Daesoonjinri's Haewon Sangsaeng, a world construction with Haewon Sangsaeng, its practical action for the realization of Haewon Sangsaeng, and so forth. A description of the contents is as follows. Daesoonjinri's Haewon Sangsaeng eliminates the resentment of human destiny, and provides the grounds that we peoples can live with, going to help each other. And then the realization of Daesoonjinri's Haewon Sangsaeng in this world will require us to this society. Really Sangje(上帝) wanted to perform it in this world, and has performed it with a reorganizing in the order of heaven and the earth(天地公事). In response to the deeper sublimest will of Sangje, we humans can not help but do as follows: When Sangje has done a reorganizing in the order of heaven and the earth, we humans should participate in it. This is our response to the will of Sangje who wants to build an ideal society in this world. And in oder to participate in a reorganizing in the order of heaven and the earth, we humans should look up Sangje with Sincerity(誠), Reverence(敬), and should practice the words of Sangje with Faith(信). This kind of thing is a route that we should avoid Jeokwon Sanggeuk(積怨相克) and should perform Haewon Sangsaeng. This Haewon Sangsaeng can be achieved with no Chuck(無慼), an altruistic, no greed(無慾), an execution of asceticism(修道), and the practice of Podeok (布德)·Rehabilitation(敎化). No making of a Chuck, doing an altruistic, no greed, an execution of asceticism would not deceive others, would not murder others, would not blame the transgressions of others, would not discriminate, would not harm others. And Podeok·Rehabilitation should be performed well in practice. When performing Podeok and Rehabilitation, we should not nullify them as unjust words or undue actions, and we must be a true. Because we must make the words of Sangje inform a world wide well, and must convince the words of Sangje to peoples so that they can adhere to them with a faith. That's the way that we humans should participate in a reorganizing in the order of heaven and the earth in this current world, and the way that we should contribute to building the ideal society in the world.

The purpose of this article is to study the prospect of implementing a public common practice of ethics based on the 'Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth.' The 'Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth' demonstrated the prospect of a public common practice of ethics through the shared public action that would connect and mediate both the public domain and the private domain. In addition, the 'Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth' of Gucheon Sangje (九天上帝) provided us with a complete transformation, meaning the opening of a new era, transforming heaven and earth from their state in the Prior World to their optimized state in the Later World. This culminates in a new manifestation of a peaceful world revealed a prosperity and the prospect of common happiness and common order for the public. In addition, the 'Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth' has a public value as a religious culture that responds to social change and social needs. The 'Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth' revealed the prospect of a public common practice of ethics, placed importance on creating a new foundation, and restoring phenomena back to its original order. The 'Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth' presented various multi-faceted, multi-layered outlets of soteriology while exploring solutions to public issues and revealing human dignity. Through the new construction of Heaven and Earth, Gucheon Sangje had intervened in projects for human relief. The public ethical indicators of 'the actor' here are in line with those of the 'Non-action Tao' of Laozi. As the cosmos enters into the new epoch, humans have living together with the previous cosmic principle. Now we can expect the Prior World to open into a different era as humans embrace a cosmic life of 'Non-action Tao.' The active conjunction of the virtues of yin and yang is an idea of horizontal communication related to reordering of the universe. The harmonious union of divine beings and human beings suggests the way of enabling vertical communication. The resolution of grievances for the mutual beneficence of life is an ethics of peace that aims at achieving coexistence and prosperity. The private realization of Tao and the completion of the Tao in the world suggest the prospect of a common practice of ethics as means of implementing human dignity.

One of the hidden problems in a domain theory is that an agent does not understand the meaning of its action. Graphplan uses mutex to improve efficiency, but it does not understand negation and suffers from a redundancy problem. Introducing a negative function not in IPP partially helps to solve this kind of problem. However, using a negative function comes with its own price in terms of time and space. Observing that a human utilizes opposite concept to negate a fact based on MDL principle, we hypothesize that using a positive atom rather than a negative function to represent a negative fact is a more efficient technique for building an intelligent agent. We show empirical results supporting our hypothesis in IPP domains. To autonomously learn the human-like concept, we generate a cycle composed of opposite operators from a domain theory and extract opposite literals through experimenting with the operators.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the characteristics of single and double finger gestures related on the web browser and to extract the appropriate finger gestures. Background: As electronic equipment emphasizes miniaturization for improving portability various interfaces are being developed as input devices. Electronic devices are made smaller, the gesture recognition technology using the touch-based interface is favored for easy editing. In addition, user focus primarily on the simplicity of intuitive interfaces which propels further research of gesture based interfaces. In particular, the fingers in these intuitive interfaces are simple and fast which are users friendly. Recently, the single and double finger gestures are becoming more popular so more applications for these gestures are being developed. However, systems and software that employ such finger gesture lack consistency in addition to having unclear standard and guideline development. Method: In order to learn the application of these gestures, we performed the sketch map method which happens to be a method for memory elicitation. In addition, we used the MIMA(Meaning in Mediated Action) method to evaluate gesture interface. Results: This study created appropriate gestures for intuitive judgment. We conducted a usability test which consisted of single and double finger gestures. The results showed that double finger gestures had less performance time faster than single finger gestures. Single finger gestures are a wide satisfaction difference between similar type and difference type. That is, single finger gestures can judge intuitively in a similar type but it is difficult to associate functions in difference type. Conclusion: This study was found that double finger gesture was effective to associate functions for web navigations. Especially, this double finger gesture could be effective on associating complex forms such as curve shaped gestures. Application: This study aimed to facilitate the design products which utilized finger and hand gestures.

This paper reviewed the concept of the energy flow in east and west. The differences in the views of the energy flow between oriental and western thought were compaired according to the ontological point of view. Human body take up energy and material on open system which maintains homeostasis. Human and environment are continuously interacting in a state of co-existence. Human has energy field called "aura" and seven chakra in energy outflow moving came as meridian. Qi is an invisible cosmic energy helping the fundamental human activity and changes. The basic action of Qi is helping the human growth and development, maintain the body temperature and preventing the intrusion of microorganism. In the normal healthy organism, all are maintained in balance and in a continuous circulation of Qi, while illness is the result of the disturbed Qi flow in the aspect of Qi-theory. Although there are differences between oriental and western medicine in approaches to clients, the basic point of view and philosophy have many similarities on fundamental level. An understanding of the basic thought of energy flow and oriental concept of energy flow implies a more comprehensive meaning than the perspective of unitary transformation discussed in modern western thought of energy flow. Now we should avoid narrow view of energy concept and regard energy flow as an integrated concept with Korean culture. Regarding Qi-theory which provides a comprehensive and humanistic and ethical foundation for nursing philisophy through this overview, it is hoped that a contribution will be made to the development of nursing intervention which is suitable to Korean context.
