Objective: This study aims to develop and evaluate a multi-purpose rollator, which may be used as a seat, as a traditional walker, or as a storage basket for elderly farmers. Background: The rollators on the market are not user-friendly designed and seen inconvenient for elderly farmers to use, although they are sold at considerably high price. Since they lack enough space to load stuffs and are not durable or stable enough, they do not seem to be suitable for elderly farmers to use in rural areas. Method: Two types of methods were used in this study. First, the survey consisted of 19 questions was conducted among elderly farmers in rural areas, after using the developed rollator, to evaluate the usability of the rollator developed in this study. Second, EMG experiment was conducted to compare the existing rollator and developed rollator quantitatively. Through this experiment, we tried to verify the differences of muscle responses, when using the traditional and the developed ones, which have their own brake system, in the ramp. Results: The developed rollator was highly evaluated in most of the questions in the usability survey, except for the 'Weight' category in which the opinions were divided into three different types (Worse: 31%, Similar: 30%, Better: 36%). The result of EMG experiment showed that the existing rollator (7.4%MVC) demands more muscle strength than the developed rollator (5.5%MVC) does. By statistically analyzing the results of upper limb and lower limb respectively, we found out that all the muscles except deltoid in upper limb showed statistically significant differences in muscle activity when using the existing and the developed rollator. However, there was no statistical difference in lower limb muscles. Conclusion: The developed rollator in this study has maximized the functionality of the brake system, the storage and the chair, which were pointed out as the weaknesses of existing rollators. Furthermore, the developed rollator is designed to be more user-friendly, safe, durable, and effective for elderly farmers to use in rural areas, where roads are rough and bumpy. Application: We expect that the emergency brake system developed in this study would be utilized for other convenience equipment, such as strollers and carts, and that it would be able to develop and produce more secure and reliable equipment in the future.
Deep pectoral myopathy (DPM), also known as Oregon muscle disease or green muscle disease, was first described in 1968 by Dickinson et al as "degenerative myopathy" in turkeys. Even though this condition was first recognized in adult meat-type turkey and chicken breeders, it is becoming more and more common in meat-type growing birds. DPM occurs exclusively in birds that have been specially selected for breast muscle development. It is generally recognized that DPM is an ischemic necrosis that develops in the deep pectoral muscle (supracoracoideus or pectoralis minor muscle) mainly because this muscle is surrounded by inelastic fascia and the sternum, which do not allow the muscle mass to swell in response to the physiological changes occurring when muscle are exercised, as in wing flapping. The lesion does not impair the general health of birds and is generally found during cut-up and deboning, moreover, it can be both unilateral or bilateral, affecting just one or both pectoralis minor muscle, respectively. No public health significance is associated to DPM, but it is aesthetically undesirable. The fillet should be removed, whereas the rest of the carcass is still fit for human consumption. However, the required trimming operations determine the downgrading of the products and produce an economic loss for the industry, especially because it affects the more valuable part of the carcass. The incidence of DPM increases with market weight in broilers, with more cases reported in higher-yielding strains and in males. Increased bird activity (flock nervousness, flightiness, struggle, and wing flapping) induced by factors such as feed or water outages, lighting programs and intensity, human activity, and excessive noises in and around chicken houses should be looked at as a trigger for the development of DPM in broiler. However, most of the studies conducted to evaluate the incidence of DPM in poultry are concerned with parental commercial breeding stocks under experimental conditions (Bianchi et al. 2006. Poult Sci 85 : 1843-1846). There is a possible genetic relationship between the selection for large-breasted birds and this condition. Management procedures that discourage excessive wing flapping would reduce the incidence (Jordan and Pattison. 1998. Poultry diseases. 398-399).
A study on the optimum hydrolysis conditions of fish skin through the aid of enzymes and the development of a natural seasoning using the hydrolysate has been carried out for the effective utilization of fish skin. Using the "pH-drop" techniques the collagenase and pronase were identified as most suitable for this purpose. The $K_m$ and $V_{max}$ values of pronase were 1.82 mgN/ml and 0.06 mgN/mL/min, respectively. The hydrolysis conditions of the cod skin for the pronase were as follows: reaction temperature, $50^{\circ}C$; reaction time, 3hrs; pH 6; enzyme concentration, 0.03%. The degree of hydrolysis at these conditions was 76.8%. But after hydrolyzing cod skin with collagenase for 1hr, when the pronase was treated, the degree of hydrolysis was 83.13%. The molecular weight of the hydrolysate was 8,000 daltons. Among the amino acids in the hydrolysate, glycine(27.95%), glutamic acid(10.94%), proline(7.39%), aspartic acid(9.47%) and serine(7.39%) were responsible for 64.23% of the total amino acids. But valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, phenylalanine and histidine having a bitter taste were only 13.05%. From the results of the sensory evaluation, the imitation sauce which was made of 20% fermented soy sauce prepared from the hydrolysate was at least similar to the traditional soybean sauce in product quality. The complex seasoning containing 31.7% of the hydrolysate was nearly equal to complex seasonings on the market, too.

AIn this paper, a new desist of LDI controller IC for general purpose is proposed for driving the LDI(LCD Driver Interface) controller in $4{\sim}9$ inches sized portable small-medium TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor addressed -Liquid Crystal Display) panel module. The designed LDI controller was verified on the FPGA(Reld Programmable Gate Array) test board, and was made the interactive operation with the commercial TFT-LCD panel successfully. The purpose of design is that it is standardized the LDI controller's operation by one LDI controller for driving all TFT-LCD panel without classifying the panel vendor, and size. The main advantage for new general-purpose LDI controller is the usage for the desist of all panel's SoG(System on a Glass) module because of the design for the standard operation. And in the previous method, it used each LDI controller for every LCD vendor, and panel size, but because a new one can drive all portable small-medium sized panel, it results in reduction of LDI controller supply price, and manufacturing cost of AV(Audio Video) board and panel. In the near future, the development of SoG IC(Integrated Circuit) for manufacturing more excellent functional TFT-LCD panel module is necessary. As a result of this research, the TFT-LCD panel can make more small size, and light weight, and it results in an upturn of domestic company's share in the world market. With the suggested theory in this paper, it expects to be made use of a basic data for developing and manufacturing for the SoG chip of TFT-LCD panel module.

Domestic vehicle penetration rate is growing at 3% per year, but consumers are increasingly buying used cars due to steady price hikes Nevertheless, the used car export market is expected to decline due to import regulations of major countries and the low grade environment of Used car export complex. Therefore, this study using Fuzzy-AHP was aimed to find operational factors of Used car logistics complex and establish a practical management plan of Used car logistic complex in incheon port. Fuzzy-AHP is the method that can be calculated weight of multi-level criteria and change linguistic ambiguity of human to Fuzzy Number. So it's able to propose the realistic decision making alternatives. As a result of the literacture reviews, present study focused on the analysis of the present situation of the logistics of the used car and the activation of the complex, suggested the activation plan and activation of the logistics complex. In the analysis of operational factors, logistic complex cost factors were found to be the most important factors by recording the weighted value of 0.306 in the above factors. The detailed factors were as follows: rent, accessibility, and logistics site size. It is necessary to compute competitive rent for the highly-advanced used car logistics complex, and to realize the rental support policy and to consider designating the free trade zone. In addition, it is necessary to expand the access infrastructure and secure the scale of the company for overseas buyers, and it is necessary to improve the overall government laws and introduce IT system for the future.

To address the limitations of manufacturing noodle products using rice, brown rice noodles were created by the fermentation of brown rice containing several nutrients and the quality of these noodles were evaluated. White rice noodles, fermented white rice noodles, brown rice noodles, and fermented brown rice noodles were developed using white rice and brown rice, respectively. We found that the content of crude proteins present in the noodles during the fermentation process increased and the content of crude fat and carbohydrates in the noodles was reduced. In addition, the water content of brown rice noodles was twofold higher than that of white rice, although under fermentation conditions, the water content of brown rice noodles decreased slightly. A slight change of chromaticity was observed during the fermentation process. In cooking, the weight and volume of the noodles increased, with the change being lowest in noodles based on white rice. White rice-based noodles exhibited significantly higher turbidity in the cooked noodle soup, while other noodle products showed relatively constant turbidity. Most of the products showed a decreased texture, becoming soft with cooking; however, the elasticity of the cooked products increased. Our results suggest that the disadvantages of producing rice noodles can be overcome by the development of fermented brown rice noodles containing a variety of nutritional components. This would potentially develop a market for rice-based manufactured foods that appeal to modern preferences.
Sudden deaths have occurred in feedlot cattle with marked necro-hemorrhagic enteritis of the jejunum, ileum and colon. Suckling beef calves are the most frequently affected. Over-consumption of large amounts of milk, inadequate colostrum intake, chilling and stress are conducive to the development of enterotoxemia. Enterotoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens type D mostly occurs following a sudden change of diet, particularly to feeds made richer in order to grow the cattle to market weight in feedlots. During July 2006, sudden deaths of cattle occurred in the Youngcheon regional area of Gyeongbuk province. There were no significant clinical signs except anorexia, depression, intermittent diarrhea and mild respiratory failure. Histological findings revealed a prominent intranuclear inclusion as well as infiltration of the globular leukocytes in various organs including the heart, kidneys, liver, spleen and lymph nodes. Spleen and lymphatic tissues showed lymphatic necrosis and a starry sky appearance. In the submucosa of the small intestines, basophilic aggregation was detected with massive infiltration of the globular leukocytes and eosinophils. Gram staining for the tissue sections containing inclusions of the small intestines revealed a positive histochemical reaction. Taken together, we suggest that Clostridium perfringens type D-induced enterotoxemia is determined to be the cause of sudden death of feedlot cattle.
The hydrolysates of three kinds [FSEH(first step enzymatic hydrolysate), SSEH(second step enzymatic hydrolysate), and TSEH(third step enzymatic hydyolysate)] were prepared by continuous hydrolysis of Alaska pollack(Theragra chalcogramma) skin gelatin with three-step membrane enzyme reactor. The molecular weight distributions of FSEH, SSEH, and THSE are 9,500∼4,800Da, 6,600∼3,400Da, and 2,300∼900Da, respectively. The contents of amino acid having sweet taste (glycine, proline, serine, alanine, hydroxyproline, glutamic acid, and aspartic acid) were about 70% of total amino acid being in the three kind hydrolysates. We also tried preparing of natural seasonings (complex seasoning and enzymeatic hydrolysale sauce) using the hydrolysates. From the results of sensory evaluations, complex seasoning containing TSEH was nearly equal to shellfish complex seasoning on the market. The mixture sauce which was made by mixing of 80% enzymatic hydrolysis sauce and 20% fermented soy sauce, was at least similar to the tradition soybean sauce in product quality, too.
There are $10{\sim}30%$ polyphenol and $2{\sim}4%$ caffeine in green tea. Caffeine is a kind of alkaloid containing nitrogen which cause stimulation, impatience, headache, insomnia, low birth weight infant. Because of these negative effect, decaffeined beverage came out and decaffeined coffee already have a big market since 1970s. Having proving the physiologic functions of green tea, high consumption of coffee is shifting to green tea. Because of the carcinogenic effect of the organic solvents, decaffeine processing with supercritical carbon dioxide has industrialized and have an advantage in environment-friendly and minimized flavor loss. Decaffeined green tea using supercritical carbon dioxide is considered to be safe but there are not enough study. We investigated the chromosome aberration test with mammalian cell line, CHL. When the cells were treated with 5000, 2000, 1000 ${\mu}g/ml$ and compared with the negative controls, there were no significant(P>0.05) increased chromosome aberration. Same results was observed when adding S9 mixture or not. As a result, water extract of decaffeined green tea using supercritical carbon dioxide does not induce chromosome aberration.
This study investigated arsenic speciation and risk assesment in 30 samples of hijiki purchased from local market in 10 Korean cities. The mean arsenic concentration of the hijiki samples was 45.65 mg/kg (dryness; moisture content of 91.1${\pm}$1.6%), and the major arsenic compound was arsenate [As(V)]. The concentrations of As(V) and As(III), as inorganic arsenic compounds, were detected to be 40.36 mg/kg and 0.37 mg/kg, respectively, and made up 88.6% (40.46 mg/kg) of the arsenic in the hijiki. Among the samples, the highest inorganic arsenic concentration was identified at 9.19 mg/kg (wet), and for an adult with a body weight of 60 kg was within an acceptable level as 0.7% (6.43 mg/60 kg/week) when compared with the provisional tolerable weekly intake (PTWI) (900 mg/60 kg/week), and would be considered safe with respect to health-hazardous effects.
