본 연구는 도서지방에 식수를 안정적으로 공급하기 위하여 도서별 특성에 적합한 최적의 상수원 방안을 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 특히 도서지역은 지형적인 특정상 상수원 확보를 위한 저수지 건설의 적지가 드물고 이상 가뭄과 환경오염으로 물 부족 현상이 심화되고 있으므로 도서지방의 안정적인 식수 공급 방안 수립은 시급한 실정이다.

In order to provide the tailored maritime administration service for fishermen, the Korea coast guard services related to fishermen are analyzed. The familiarity of fishermen with the services is made up questions and analyzed. The programs to enhance perception, kindness, satisfaction, reliability on the services are proposed.

The crimes and the vandalism committed by mental patients such as the burning of Syungremoon and Daegu's subway have become a social insecure factors. In the paper, the criminal status of mental patients is analyzed and the range of probabilities at sea investigated. The countermeasures to these crimes are proposed.

We herein propose a new design procedure of a flexible container ship model where the vertical bending and torsional vibration modes are similar to its prototype. To achieve similarity in torsional vibration mode shapes, the height of the shear center of the model must be located below the bottom hull, similar to an actual container ship with large opening decks. Therefore, we designed a ship model by imparting appropriate stiffness to the hull, using urethane foam without a backbone. We built a container ship model according to this design strategy and validated its dynamic elastic properties using a decay test. We measured wave-induced structural vibrations and present the results of tank experiments in regular and freak waves.

기계학습을 이용하여 개체명 인식을 수행하기 위해서는 많은 양의 개체명 말뭉치가 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 문장 자동 생성을 통해 개체명 표지가 부착된 말뭉치를 구축하는 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 한국어 문장 생성 연구들은 언어모델을 이용하여 문장을 생성하였다. 본 논문에서는 은닉 마르코프 모델을 이용하여 주어진 표지열에 기반 하여 문장을 생성하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템을 활용하여 자동으로 개체명 표지가 부착된 3,286개의 새로운 문장을 생성할 수 있었다. 학습말뭉치 문장과 약 70%의 차이를 보이는 새로운 문장을 생성하였다.

Recently, the degree of navigating vessel's risk is increasing significantly by growing of vessel's volume and increasing of marine facilities, marine bridges and port development etc. As a result, Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs generalized formal Maritime Safety Audit as a comprehensive maritime traffic safety management system in order to ensure safety improvements from the planing to maintaining of the development which influence to maritime traffic environment. A MSA is a formal safety performance examination of an existing or future fairway by an audit team. It qualitatively estimates and reports on potential risk of Maritime traffic safety and identifies the measure for improving in safety of human life and preservation of environment. This paper introduced the outline of MSA policy as the guideline for making audit reports is on its developing which is mainly processed by Maritime Safety Research Center, KST in cooperation with KMU, MMU and KORDI.

Barges that are towed by tugs do not have navigation capabilities and are usually connected to tugs. These kinds of combined navigation schemes have generated almost ten percent of all maritime accidents in the last five years. The study aims to reduce maritime accidents with barges towed by tugs by analyzing navigation characteristics and the current status of such combined navigation schemes. The analysis consists of the lesson learned from each verdict. The result of the study emphasizes that human factors continue to be the primary cause of maritime accidents with barges and tugs. Additionally, the research proposes that effective advertising for improving maritime safety by reducing towing barge maritime accidents should be created through associations of tugs and barges. Furthermore, relevant re-training must be conducted by maritime training institutions. The results of the study are expected to apply to the improvement of maritime safety through the advertisements to seafarers.
