In this paper, measurements and analyses of ELF electric fields in the vicinity of UHV overhead transmission lines and substations have been conducted. Planar-type sensors have been developed with special consideration of picking up lower frequency and spatial components without any distortion. So finally the electric field measuring system has the frequency bandwidth of 7[Hz] to 2.7[MHz] and the response sensitivity of 0.094[mV/V/m]. A brief description of design rules of the measuring system and measurement procedures is introduced. The actual survey near 154 and 345[kV] overhead transmission lines and power subststions was carried out and analyzed. It may be inferred from these results that the electric field intensity exeeds 7[kV/m] only in very few cases particularly at the substations so that the field measurements meet almost limits or guidelines that various authorized international institutes recommend.
With the three dimensional magnetic field measuring system dealt with in this paper, accurate measurements and analyses of ELF magnetic fields in the vicinity of UHV overhead transmission lines and substations have been conducted. For the field measurements multiturn loop-type sensors have been developed with special consideration of taking lower frequency and spatial components without any distortion. So the measuring system has the frequency bandwidth of 8[Hz] to about 53[kHz] and the response sensitivity of $9.88[mV/{\mu}T]$ in average. A brief description of design rules of the measuring system and measurement procedures is given. The actual surrey near 154 and 345[kV] overhead transmission lines and power subststions was carried out and analyzed. It may be inferred from these results that the maximum magnetic field intensities under typical UHV overhead transmission lines do not exceed $20[{\mu}T]$ so that the field measurements satisfy sufficiently all limits or guidelines that various authorized international institutes recommend.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to evaluate the economic effects of FTAs using the concept of value-added exports. So far, the economic effects of FTAs have been dependent on decrease in import prices due to tariff cuts in importing countries, but the actual tariff reduction need to consider the value added of the exporting countries. Design/methodology - Value-added export refers to the added value created in the exporting country out of total exports. Among value-added exports, direct value-added export is interpreted as the Regional Value Contents (RVC), from which the economic effect of the FTA can be analyzed. A modified GTAP-VA model takes into account RVC in order to estimate accurate effects of FTAs. Findings - By the re-evaluation of the FTA based on the RVC, this paper makes it clear that the economic effects of the existing FTA methodology have the possibility of overestimation. In addition, as a new FTA with a strengthened Rules of Origin (ROO) is being initiated, a negative impact on international trade and GVC utilization may occur. Originality/value - This study introduces the concept of value-added export in analyzing the effects of FTAs. The new analysis methodology of this paper emphasizes the importance of value-added exports. Re-organization of GVCs would change regional trade agreements and empower ROO by weakening existing GVCs and transforming the value chain from global into regional scope.
Recently, as cases of organizations' information disclosure occur continuously, it is urgent to manage security of information and establish measures to enhance security of information by an organization itself. Especially, members of an organization should be prepared with measures for information security, and an organization should do its efforts to raise its members' awareness toward information security. I set a research model to verify what effects an organization's fulfillment of regulations to secure information brings to performance of information security and selected members from maritime and port organizations and financial and insurance institutes as sample. Results of the analysis to identify factors affecting information security performance among members of maritime and port organizations are as follows. Firstly, I found that the factors affecting information security awareness are information security attitude and information security standards. Secondly, the factor giving influence on information security policy of an organization was found to be information security standards. In contrast, information security punishments and information security training were verified not to give influence on compliance of information security policy. Thirdly, information security awareness was identified to give significant influence on compliance of information security policy, information security competence and information security behavior. Fourthly, compliance of information security policy was verified to be those factors that give influence on information security competence and information security behavior. Lastly, information security competence and information security behavior were found to be such factors that give influence on information security performance.

Floating platforms made of PE (PolyEthylene) are often located in shallows of seas, rivers or lakes. They are widely used for marine pensions, marine pontoons, marine bridges, etc. These products are characterized by good flexibility, recyclability, chemical resistance and weatherability with corrosion resistance. Existing PE floating platforms have a simple structure in which one pipe is fastened to one bracket, but this has limited application, even if a user modifies the arrangement. Therefore, we developed a structure that allows buoyancy pipes of various sizes to be fastened to one bracket and verified the structural safety of the product using the finite element method. From the results of structural analysis for buoyancy pipes of different diameters, the maximum stress ratio was 0.78 compared with allowable criteria of 1.0, which represented sufficient safety for a model with 500 mm diameter pipes. Based on the results of this study, further research to evaluate the structural safety of various floating platforms can be carried out in the further; it will also be necessary to establish related evaluation criteria.

In this study, an improved aluminum alloy (6082-T6) was used to develop a unique model of an aluminum ladder for usage in offshore plant. The structural strength design was carried out in accordance with international standards such as ISO, NORSOK Austria Standard. Load combination was performed to satisfy all conditions. The structural safety of the designed model was verified using SACS, an analysis program for offshore plants based on the Finite elements method. The analysis results confirmed that both stress and deflection were satisfied within the acceptance criteria. The developed model can be applied used in various fields in the near future as it meets all the necessary criteria and is lightweight and has improved productivity.
This paper examines the trend of restructuring and direction of management response in the Large Purse Seine Fishery. The large-scale fishing industry is one of the most popular fishing areas in the coastal area, and it has been developed by providing exclusive supplies of many types of catchy fish, such as mackerel and horse mackerel through physical productivity in fleet operations. However, the Large Purse Seine Fishery has been declining in profitability due to the deterioration of the business environment since 2000. It is at a crossroads whether it will disappear or regenerate as it is. The Large Purse Seine Fishery's current problems are: firstly, the continued deterioration of the fishery business balance and worsening labor problems, secondly, insufficient freshness management and quality control after landing, and thirdly, import competition. The fourth is the intensification of the market competition, which is the evolution of fishing variability and the increase in the proportion of small fish. The fifth is the reduction of the operating fishing ground due to the suspension of mutual fishing in Korea and Japan. To address these problems and suggest management response directions for the survival of large-scale fishing businesses is as follows. First, a sustainable production system should be established through strengthening resource management and promoting international fisheries cooperation. Second, the profitability of fishing management should be improved by introducing a low-cost supplier system and securing a stable labor force. Third, we should improve the leading and quality control of catch, improve the high value-added value of catch through brand development, and secure competitive advantage with imported produce. Finally, the government should establish a cooperative system among private sector, government, and research institutes to push ahead with these tasks and strengthen the competitiveness of the front and rear industries.
There have been vast amounts of the site investigation data from the domestic construction sites every year and various national research institutes are constructing the database for the site investigation data. According to the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, the database for the site investigation has been constructed for covering 154,000 individual boreholes since the computerization project for the geotechnical information started at 2000. It is considered to be high time to evaluate the reliability of the stored DB so that the current DB should be utilized to the various fields related to the planning and site investigation of the construction activities. Therefore, the precision of the stored site investigation data was evaluated via normal distribution for more active sharing and utilization. As a preliminary evaluation of the precision, the locations of the encountered strata from two different sites were analyzed. After the precision of the stored data is determined, the level of reliability of the each category of the stored geotechnical information would be determined and the users would be able to decide which information could be utilized.
The shipping business industries which are the transport and logistics intensive in Busan, have been small sized and scattered in many areas, that is why they could not create a synergy effect utterly. Because of the need to develop the shipping business cluster complex in Busan in order to concentrate those industries and attract high value added firms, this study tries to suggest an approach to build the cluster. Firstly, how various shipping business related firms in Busan and capital area demand the cluster complex are searched through questioning survey. Secondly, the gradual scheme to integrate lots of business companies, governmental authorities and educational institutes and global strategy to invite domestic and foreign organizations in Myeong Ji area near to Busan New Port. Thirdly, the expected economic benefits of the cluster construction are calculated quantitatively.
Diel changes in the feeding habits of Rudarius ercodes were investigated in an eelgrass bed of Jindong Bay, Korea. The main food components for R. ercodes (1.6~ 4.3 cm SL) were gammarid amphipods, eelgrass, polychaetes and urochordates. Most dietary items were inhabitants of an eelgrass bed. Diel variations in diet and feeding activity occurred. The diet of R. ercodes underwent changes from eelgrass and gammarid amphipods (omnivore) at day to mainly gammarid amphipods, polychaetes, and urochordates (carnivore) at night. Rudarius ercodes probably took detached eelgrass leaves and grazed live eelgrass during day, whereas feeding on gammarid amphipods, polychaetes, urochordates, and bivalves were facilitated by nocturnal movement and activity of these prey during night. The feeding activity of R. ercodes was also correlated with periods of high tides.
