The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of marathon service quality on service value and participant satisfaction. For data analysis, a total of 350 questionnaires were distributed to participants in the marathon, and a total of 329 (94%) data were used as valid samples, excluding 21 unscrupulous responses. For data processing, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using PASW 21.0. This resulted in the following results. First, marathon service quality has an effect on service value. Second, marathon service quality had an effect on satisfaction. Third, service value influenced participant satisfaction.
This study is based on the sport event(mountains marathon race 2005 in Jecheon) of social and cultural impact. The results were as fallows: Factor analysis of 19 positive impact items produced five dimensions and factor analysis of 9 negative impact items produced two dimensions. As an example of results, younger generations (those in 20s and 30s) and service employees tended to perceive the impacts of the sport event more positively than other age or occupation groups. Thus, the results indicated that attitudes toward the event are likely to differ across socio-demographic characteristics.

In this paper, a marathon of a humanoid robot is introduced, and its strategy is proposed. In order to develop humanoid robots for the purpose of cooperation and symbiosis with humans, the technologies such as increasing operating time and stability or recognizing surrounding environment are more important. One proper research model for the technologies is a human's marathon. In this paper, we introduce the human's marathon, and propose the humanoid robot's marathon. The marathon event of HuroCup has the most similar game rules to the human's marathon. The humanoid robot developed with the proper operating time, stability and ability to recognize the surrounding environment performed the marathon in HuroCup. The robot recognizes a marathon track using a computer vision, and builds the strategies for the race competition. By analyzing the experimental results, the humanoid robot performed in a real competition.

The marathon has long been established as a representative lifestyle for all ages. With the recent expansion of the Work and Life Balance trend across the society, marathon with a relatively low barrier to entry is gaining popularity among young people in their 20s and 30s. By analyzing the issues and related words of the marathon event, we will analyze the spottainment elements of the marathon event that is popular among young people through keywords, and suggest a development plan for the differentiated event. In order to analyze keywords and related words, blogs, cafes and news provided by Naver and Daum were selected as analysis channels, and 'JTBC Marathon' and 'Culture' were extracted as key words for data search. The data analysis period was limited to a three-month period from August 13, 2019 to November 13, 2019, when the application for participation in the 2019 JTBC Marathon was started. For data collection and analysis, frequency and matrix data were extracted through social matrix program Textom. In addition, the degree of the relationship was quantified by analyzing the connection structure and the centrality of the degree of connection between the words. Although the marathon is a personal movement, young people share a common denominator of "running" and form a new cultural group called "running crew" with other young people. Through this, it was found that a marathon competition culture was formed as a festival venue where people could train together, participate together, and escape from the image of a marathon run alone and fight with themselves.

Purpose: With the rapid information distribution of sport-related SNS, sport industry has utilized SNS as technical solution to distribute sport and health-related information. The current study examined the effect of SNS information use for running-specific content on running engagement and psychological well-being. Research design, data and methodology: Data were collected via online survey of participants in marathon events of United States. Descriptive statistics and Chi-square test were conducted to compare demographics and psycho-behavioral outcomes among SNS information users and non-users for running-specific contents. Multivariate hierarchical regression was next employed to examine research hypotheses. Results: A mass-participant running event was used to test seven hypotheses related to the potential role of SNS for running content in promoting running engagement and life satisfaction. In general, findings revealed that use of SNS for running content along with frequency of use can perhaps facilitate running intensity and influence participation in running-related outdoor activities. Furthermore, while overall life satisfaction did not appear to be influenced by use of SNS for running content, there was a demonstrated influence on the individual satisfaction domains. Conclusions: The findings of current study suggest that sport SNS is information distribution media enhancing users' engagement and their six life satisfaction domains. Further implications were discussed.
This study tried to revaluate the Erasure of Japanese National Flag in Dong-A Ilbo. In spite of its historical significance, this event was not explored thoroughly by researchers. While it was known as Chosunjoongang-Ilbo erased the Japanese National Flag earlier than Dong-A Ilbo on August 13 1936, but this study found out that Dong-A Ilbo erased the Japanese National Flag in the local morning edition of the same day. With the victory of Kijeong Son in the Berlin Olympic Marathon the nationalistic coverage of Dong-A Ilbo seemed to be revived. And this change caused the severe suppression by the colonial Japanese government. The government intended to eliminate the influences of Seongsu Kim and Jinwoo Song to make Dong-A Ilbo more cooperative partner. But because the intention of the government was not acceptable to two men, Dong-A Ilbo posed a noncooperative stance. This resulted in the longest suspension over 9 months. Finally with the change of stance to a compromising one, Dong-A Ilbo could be released from the longest suspension on June 3rd, 1937.
