생명주기 기반 교육용 콘텐츠 질 관리 (Quality Control of the Educational Contents based on Life Cycle)

  • 교육용 콘텐츠의 질 관리 방안을 정립하기 위해 본 논문은 교육용 콘텐츠의 질 관리 대상이 되는 콘텐츠 범위를 수립하고 소프트웨어의 생명주기와 기존의 콘텐츠 생명주기를 분석한 후, 현재 상황에 적합한 생명주기를 정의하고 단계 별 질 관리 절차를 제시하여 콘텐츠의 개발과 활용을 지원하도록 하였다. 교육용 콘텐츠가 생성되고 소멸하기까지의 모든 과정을 생명주기로 정의하였으며 개발과정은 기획, 설계, 제작단계로 구분하고, 활용과정은 평가, 유통, 관리단계로 구분하여 질 관리 지침을 수립하고 제공하여 콘텐츠를 개발하는 개발자와 개발의 진행을 지원하는 관리자 모두에게 적용할 수 있는 모델을 개발 하였다.

E-quality control: A support vector machines approach

  • The automated part quality inspection poses many challenges to the engineers, especially when the part features to be inspected become complicated. A large quantity of part inspection at a faster rate should be relied upon computerized, automated inspection methods, which requires advanced quality control approaches. In this context, this work uses innovative methods in remote part tracking and quality control with the aid of the modern equipment and application of support vector machine (SVM) learning approach to predict the outcome of the quality control process. The classifier equations are built on the data obtained from the experiments and analyzed with different kernel functions. From the analysis, detailed outcome is presented for six different cases. The results indicate the robustness of support vector classification for the experimental data with two output classes.

  • There is an increasing need for manufacturing systems to produce batches in small quantities. Such manufacturing systems are significantly difficult to develop with conventional automation equipment. Recently, several research groups have applied industrial dual-arm robots to cell production lines. A synchronization method for robots is necessary for the cell production process when robots work in a shared workspace. Conventional automation factories do not need this method because the main control system operates all of the machines or robots. However, our intended application for the developed robot is in small manufacturing environments that cannot install an expensive main control system. We propose an inexpensive and high-performance method with a simple digital in/out channel using a real-time communication protocol. The developed method was validated in a pilot production line for cellular phone packing.

An On-Line Real-Time SPC Scheme and Its Performance

  • This paper considers a recent environment in the manufacturing process in which data in large amounts can be obtained on-line in real-time. Under this environment an on-line real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) scheme equipped with detection of a process change, change-point estimation, and recognition of the change pattern is proposed. The proposed SPC scheme is composed of a Cusum chart, filtering methods and Akaike Information Criterion (AIC). We examine the performance of this scheme by Monte Carlo simulation and show its usefulness.

  • The Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) has been considered as an inherently safe and reliable method far joining metals, and has been widely employed, especially in automobile body assembly shops, as a manufacturing process. In recent years, the requirement for more sophisticated quality control procedures has considerably grown in the mass production industries. The object of the application of servo control to spot welding gun is the improvement of quality control in the spot welding, one of conventional industrial areas. The important factors affecting welding qualities (shear strength, nuggest size, indentation depth) are welding current, welding time, and gun press force. Welding current and welding time are controlled by welding timer. But, the conventional welding guns using compressed air are out of control in changing gun press forces in welding process. In this paper, a servo gun welding system having a AC servo motor and a PC control system is presented. The main object of this paper is to estimate the influence of gun press force changes in the welding process (press time -> welding time -> hold time) to welding qualities, and to evaluate welding qualities in real time, by recognizing the patterns of gun press forces changed in the welding process and comparing with the standard patterns.

  • This study analyzes the new GMCF method applied by the company with the aim to find out how the production of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) implemented by the company can be managed properly. The study also seeks to find out whether the company needs new system support facilities to facilitate the production performance reporting process of each division and evaluate the performance of GMCF systems in the company. The methods used are descriptive analysis techniques and statistical tests of Paired Sample T-Test comparison; this study uses production data of each unit of a product with random sampling to determine the level of product damage and compare production with the GMCF system and prior to using it. The results of the analysis found that the application of goods mutation control forms (GMCF) greatly influenced the smooth production reporting process, which resulted in an increase in achieving production targets and reducing the risk of product damage during the production process. The company also benefits from the efficiency of production costs when using the GMCF system and can quickly design policies for products that are damaged during the production process. In addition, the company can have damaged products repaired faster than before.

초기공정에서 X-R 통계량을 이용한 신경망 관리도 설계 (The Design of a neural network control chart using X-R statistics in start-up process)

  • I propose the control chart pattern to provide a more comprehensive scheme for detecting process X and R shifts using individual observations in start-up process. It is important to automate the identification of special disturbances to facilitate real-time manufacturing. This papers formulates X-R charts for interpretation by artificial neural networks. In this papers, which uses the backpropagation algorithm, two samples are fed into the trained neural network to provide outputs ranging from 0 to 1. Simulation results sow that the performance of the proposed control chart using the neural network(NNCC) is quite promising. Using these NN charts, guidelines are given for detecting and classifying process X and R shifts.

탄소나노튜브 프로브의 길이 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control of the Length of Carbon-Nano-Tube Probe)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new method to control the length of carbon nano tube in the single CNT probe. A single CNT probe was composed of a tungsten tip made by the electrochemical etching and carbon nano tube which was grown by CVD and prepared through the sonication. The two components were attached with the carbon tape. Since the length of CNT can not be controlled during the manufacturing, the post process is needed to shorten the CNT. In this paper, we proposed the method of electrochemical process. The process was done under the optical microscope and the results were checked by SEM. The diameter of the carbon nano tube used in this paper was about 130nm because the above process had to be done with the optical microscope. Using the method proposed in this paper, we can control the length of the nano tube tip.

  • With the trend towards welding automation and robozation, mathematical models for studying the influence of various parameters on the weld bead geometry in Gas Metal Arc(GMA) welding process are required. The results of bead on plate welds deposited using the GMA welding process has enabled mathematical relationships to be developed that model the weld bead geometry. Experimental results were compared to outputs obtained using existing formulae that correlate process input variables to output parameters and subsequent modelling was performed in order to better predict the output of the GMA welding process. The aim of this work was to explain the relationships between GMA welding variables and weld bead geometry and thus, be able to predict input weld bead size. The relationships can be usefully employed for open loop process control and also for adaptive control provided that dynamic sensing of process output is performed.

  • In this paper, when manufacturing large/multi-mold parts (more than 30 core parts),A mold manufacturing (tolerance) management system was established through design-processing linkage.The mold manufacturing (tolerance) management system is a design-based measurement shape/measurement position determination system, M/C processing-linked measurement drive system,It is composed of four parts: CAD-linked measurement result analysis system and manager mold part quality management system.In addition, the constructed system was applied to the field and the effect of system construction was evaluated by comparing it with the existing process.As a result of the evaluation, the measurement precision is within 0.02mm, and the time it takes to measure after the end of processing is shorter than that of the existing process.(12 hours → 2 hours) It was shortened to 16.7%.In addition, it was confirmed that the time required for reprocessing after measurement was reduced by 25% (4 hours → 1 hour) compared to the existing process.
